No comment (so as to play nice). I'll let the article speak for itself.

Seriously, How Can Ted Cruz Supporters Defend This?…
Posted on February 2, 2016 by sundance

Earlier today Ted Cruz sent out a blitz of fundraising emails on the heels of his Iowa victory. Here’s an example (screen grabbed), and pay attention to the two bullet points Cruz puts at the bottom of email:

cruz-lies.jpg

♦ Referring to bullet point #1. “I will never get — nor do I want — money from the DC lobbyists”, look at the truth:

cruz-donors-2.jpg

Almost all of these donors are Washington DC lobbyists. All of them directly funding Ted Cruz, not a Super-PAC, but his direct campaign. – SEE FOR YOURSELF – The entire statement:

…”I will never get — nor do I want — money from the DC lobbyists”… …is a flat out lie. It is not a misstatement, it is a complete and total falsehood.

♦ Then take a look at the #2 Bullet Point: “After winning Iowa the Washington cartel is most certainly more determined than ever defeat me”. Again, look at the truth:

Stand for Truth is the Super-PAC of Mitch McConnell’s attorney. You don’t get much more “inside the DC cartel” than that. Notice they were funding support for Ted Cruz in Iowa. –SEE FOR YOURSELFSee All Filings HERE

It certainly doesn’t appear the DC Cartel is out to defeat Ted Cruz.

This is what we reference when we point out that almost all of Ted Cruz supporters have some weird ideological way to reconcile being lied to based on some odd, possibly religious, need to believe -against all common sense- what is factually taking place.

Even when presented with this factual information which proves, beyond any doubt, that Ted Cruz is lying to his supporters in his campaign letters, somehow they are able to disconnect themselves from the sunlight of truth and retain a belief he’s not lying to them.

It’s odd, really odd.

And yet somehow they will find a way to reconcile this too. Watch.

*NOTE* For those following the Rush Limbaugh and Mark Levin advocacy, Stand For Truth has spent $2,301,250 on “Pro-Cruz radio advertising” exclusively. –SEE HERE–

How much of that $2.3 million do you think is going to Limbaugh and Levin?

With Governor Huckabee out of the race, that only leaves me with Rick Santorum, and he's so far back, only God can get him into the White House as President...

BE - are you sending these links from Conservative Treehouse to Trump's people?

Gee, I see no Cruz supporters posting on this story. Maybe they think if they ignore this, it will go away.

Was that in the actual article or the comments section? Because I know Sundance is letting the Trump campaign know about everything he's got and posts. If it's some information from the comments section, I don't know if Trump is being made aware.

Aha, got it! Fantastic. I assume info is pouring in to Trump's people from high and low, east and west.

BW if people think it's mean and cruel now, just wait. The next couple of weeks will be intense. Gloves will be off the candidates.

May be or maybe not someone that able to make contact with Trumps people to confirm and then send it off.

I'm read on Rense.com that he pulled a fast one on one of his rivals saying Carson was quitting and acquiring votes that would have gone to his contender.

I'm checking out Free Republic for any useful snippets, here's one comment:

Cruz supported a 500% increase in H1-B visas (the highly skilled workers, the good jobs) to 500,000, AND advocated that NO CAP be placed on H1-B visas for people from China, India, Mexico and the Philippines. I don't think in his 180 degree flip flop of last fall has he renounced THIS part of his immigration plans. He's said nothing about H1-B visas.

Since Carter I have a certain skepticism about any politician who makes a point of waving a Bible in my face.

I don't want a pastor, preacher, reverend, priest, bishop, minister, man of the cloth, swami, holy man, monk or shaman in the WH. I want a fighter, who is courageous, with good character, sound principles and is not a politiwhore. I also don't want an atheist. But I don't want a sectarian religious figure who makes a big deal of his piety and devoutness; for one thing, anyone who makes a big deal out of it, is using it for a purpose, which immediately means duplicity.

You read right, even though JGF was trying to say it was a rumor on another thread and the Cruz campaign vehemently denied it.

If it was a rumor, I asked, why did Cruz do this Ted Cruz apologizes to Ben Carson

JGF was conspicuously absent in a reply.

I've found that those who tout how Christian they are, are the ones NOT to be trusted. If they've got to tout it, they aren't following Christ in the true sense. This applies to friends, co-workers, practically everyone I meet as well as politicians. It's proved a very trusted measure for me.

That really is the truth. After years of experience- I will never hire any contractor who has a religious bumper sticker or business card....see ya...

EXACTLY!

In many years of contracting, it never failed that someone with a fish on their truck sign would try to put the screws to ya.

When called on it they would immediately revert to some "praise the lord" bullshit that didn't even apply to the situation.

I avoid them to this day.

Iowa Secretary of State Identifies Cruz Campaign ‘Voter Shaming Letter’ as Fraud – “Misrepresents Iowa election law”…

Posted on January 30, 2016 by sundance

The Iowa Secretary of State, Paul Pate, has now called out the Ted Cruz campaign for falsely representing Iowa election law, in their campaign “shaming letter“.

Press Release Below:

DES MOINES – “Today I was shown a piece of literature from the Cruz for President campaign that misrepresents the role of my office, and worse, misrepresents Iowa election law. Accusing citizens of Iowa of a “voting violation” based on Iowa Caucus participation, or lack thereof, is false representation of an official act. There is no such thing as an election violation related to frequency of voting. Any insinuation or statement to the contrary is wrong and I believe it is not in keeping in the spirit of the Iowa Caucuses”.

“Additionally, the Iowa Secretary of State’s Office never “grades” voters. Nor does the Secretary of State maintain records related to Iowa Caucus participation. Caucuses are organized and directed by the state political parties, not the Secretary of State, nor local elections officials. Also, the Iowa Secretary of State does not “distribute” voter records. They are available for purchase for political purposes only, under Iowa Code.”
