Hope he left is jewelry at home!!

Remember Putin stole some players Superbowl ring!!!!
Not exactly stole. The incident involved the owner of the New England Patriots, Robert Kraft. Kraft removed one of his Super Bowl rings and handed it to Putin to show it to him. Putin misunderstood the gesture and thought Kraft was giving it to him as a present.

I believe Kraft then wisely decided not to ask for it back.

Tucker Carlson is Moscow's favorite American journalist. He has been frequently quoted on their state run TV propaganda channel.

It's no surprise Putin would grant him an interview.
Tucker Carlson is America's #1 journalist.
He has been frequently quoted by all media sources, world wide.

It's no surprise that Putin, (Russia is #5 in world's economy) would grant him an interview.
Any world leader would love to be interviewed by Tucker Carlson.
Should be very enlightening as it will not be censored.

Hey Fox Snooze, how many or your current "journalists" are interviewing Putin? How many are even involved in exploring world events? How many are actually "on the ground" digging up "who, what, when, where and how?"
Oh, y'all just read and comment on press releases from various entities.

The only thing you can count on is that bunch telling it slant. Not a compliment.

The warmongers and their propogandist in the media are melting down and losing their minds over this. Extremely scared of losing the narrative.

The more they're screaming the more they are promoting Tucker's interview. If this actually gets on Twitter it will blow up the internet.

I don't, in general care two licks what Putin has to say - but if Carlson could relay some sort of receptivity to peace talks, it would be well worth the trip and make Biden look the dangerous fool he is.

And 'bout time. It's something Trump would have leaned on both sides to do from Day One...granted it would never have even happened had Trump been in charge.

Putin is what he is but the conversation would be fascinating.

The left will both lose their minds and not listen to anything he might say. The left has an ‘incredible super power’ of ignoring facts, reality or any information that show’s how wrong they are on the grand idea’s.

Putin could drop some serious corruption bomb’s but he would need to control both his tone and tenor too maximize impact.

The swamp propaganda machine will go into overdrive to discredit the interview, likely even arguing points before it airs.

Just Plain Jane
Every year Putin sits down to take questions from ordinary citizens, sessions lasting for several hours. I know that C-Span used to cover them and perhaps they still do.

What impressed me about Putin was that he answered the questions in detail and on a much higher intellectual level than anything seen in the West. The questions dealt with every issue that ordinary Russians were facing.

And this is the biggest threat to Western leadership. If Tucker gets that interview and it is aired it will be obvious to everyone that our leaders are as dumb as dirt. Recognizing that doesn't mean that you support Putin. It does mean that Western peoples will understand what a disadvantage we have in our own leadership.

As long as the results aren't Chamberlain-esque...

Do NOT get me wrong, I think it's great that Tucker is doing this, and the fact that it's straining the buckles on the Left's collective straitjacket is delicious. He needs to be damn careful not to represent himself as some sort of diplomat, because he'll be accused of impersonating a government official, and/or could give Putin an advantage in further events. Tucker Carlson has jumbo huevos to be doing this, and he's extremely smart, so he probably knows all of this.

He will be there a while as i think all editing will be done onsite. And who knows he may be setting up a satellite location there as a backup contingency along with some suicide comtingincies
I don't know about a satellite location, it would look like he a was operating out of Russia. He could then be labeled a foreign agent. At best, he might go to a different country after the interview to do the edits, if there was an expectation of problems in coming straight home to the U.S.
