I jumped on a stream on Hannity last night and noticed he was clearing his throat like he had a cold. Lets be honest people. He is THE President of the United States. He is going to get loaded with every single medical pill from synthetic to natural. He will have the best care of any person in the world.

Spent a hot sleepless turning uncomfortable night and couldn't stop worrying. About what, the chickens? I have nothing to worry about out here. Woke up to take the dogs out and it is 57 degrees. Definitely not stuffy weather.

The Prez and First Lady are both hale and healthy for their ages. Then again, so was Boris Johnson (UK PM), and he got very sick. I pray and expect they will be fine in a week or so, but it's sure given the media and the wing-nuts something new to rave about.

If the media talk rancidly about him 24/7 and wish him dead live on air, I think the opposite will happen, he will garner more sympathy.
Prayers for Trump and his lovely wife. I still do not completely understand Covid... It seems so mild with most, but with others, not so much. Locally we just lost 2 first responders in their 40's in just the last week from Covid. So, yes. It can be deadly. Please pray for them, and all of us.

If this were Oct 28 or so, it might have some effect. But, assuming he's over it in a couple of weeks, I don't see how it would be an issue. If anything, beating Covid should make him seem stronger.

I see the media doing a great big “I told you so” on masks, rallies, etc...I don’t see any overt calls for his demise, but in today’s age nothing surprises me anymore.
Most likely he’s going to be just fine...might kick his ass for a bit given his age/weight/health. I’d certainly want his medical support staff if I contracted COVID. Hopefully he’s not one of the unlucky ones.

There are mechanisms for Pence to be designated presidential powers, but Trump would have to be more or less incapacitated.
The only way I see it impacting the election is if Biden also gets it...or either candidate dies or is hospitalized long-term. One thing that 2020 has shown us all is that ‘best case’ is not likely and the shit show is likely to continue.
What is scary is that will all of the precautions in place, COVID still made it’s way to the president.

Well, let’s see. There’s 4 weeks left, he’s sidelined for at least 2 of those - if he lives. If he gets even mildly sick he’ll be out for most of the campaign
All the debates are canceled, fundraisers etc.
