BRKG TRUMP BROKERS HISTORIC PEACE AGREEMENT: Israel and the United Arab Emirates reached a historic peace deal (OP - 08/2020)

Question.....Aren't all these countries that are making peace with Israel all half brothers with Israel through the line of Ishmael? Both are of the seed of Abraham. I've wondered if this is why it is called the Abrahamic Accords.

Abraham also had six other sons by his wife Keturah, whom he married after Sarah died. They also likely helped father some of the Arab tribes. Sheba and Dedan are named as his grandsons through one of his sons by Keturah, Jokshan.

Probably at least some of their people are descended either from Ishmael, or from Esau and his sons.

Kathleen

I've heard that they are all descendants of Ishmael, but I wasn't sure. I've also heard that these countries are all Sunni Muslims, and those who come against Israel in the War are all Shiite Muslims. I don't know for sure. I'd like to find out, though.

Have you watched any of Amir Tsarfati's videos? With him being Israeli, Jewish, and a Christian, he has a particular interest in end-times prophecy, and -- as far as I have seen -- is very Biblical, and doctrinally sound. He has talked quite a bit about the alignment of the nations for the Ezekiel war.

When Israel is saying "peace and safety" from signing all these peace treaties with other countries, then "sudden destruction" will come, Ezekiel 38-39. Afterwards, the AC will come to initiate the Real Peace Covenant as spoken of by Daniel.

Problem I see with this is that God snuffs out those attacking in Ezekiel 38-39. Is it really destruction to them?

I think the sudden destruction better fits with the rapture...says they will not escape (someone will be escaping?).

This is going to cause a big mess especially with their US relations/protection.

Isnt this peace treaty for a dual state? It will split Israel in two so the Palestinians can have land?? That's what I'm hearing and if so, I cant believe Israel went along with it.

Yes, it is still a "two-state solution," with a bunch of bluff added. And some "Christians" are in awe that Trump "could accomplish" what the previous presidents could not!

And it is all staged! All of it! Trump knew he would be president one day.

Bibi stated that they have been working on it a long time...yes, they have. Think that quote is just above, on this thread.

Kushner had no hand in designing this plan...he was probably a toddler or not even born yet when the plan was hatched.

Psalm 83 describes a conspiracy of nations... No war is mentioned.

Yes, please note that it does...posted this to add to this very, very important discussion:

July 1st – Countdown To Psalm 83 Middle East War?
by BigAddison
MAY 30, 2020

Will Benjamin Netanyahu’s July 1, 2020 vote to annex Israel’s West Bank spark the Psalm 83 Middle East War? All signs say YES!

8/16/2020 UPDATE:
Annexation was taken off the table in order to appease the UAE into the Peace Plan brokered by President Trump. Subsequently, five more Arab countries are likely to also normalize their relationship with Israel.

What does this mean for the Psalm 83 war outcast? My personal opinion (knowing Iran will be the catalyst behind the scenes), I suspect Iran is infuriated with their Sunni counterparts and will pull out all the stops to exact their revenge on Israel and her allies.

Note: The Great Whore of Babylon must also be destroyed prior to the return of Jesus. Odds are, Iran will destroy her too.

ORIGINAL POST: Just off of reading the article “July 1st – Countdown To Next Middle East War?” posted (below), on a website called “Prophecy News Watch”, I was stunned there wasn’t a single mention of the Psalm 83 war prophecy that could possibly be sparked by this annexation. Highly possible I would say.

Let’s look at what the Psalm 83 passage describes side by side with how the Islamic armies are poised for the destruction of Israel.

Psalm 83: 1-5 (KJV) 1 Keep not thou silence, O God: hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God.

2 For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head.

3 They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones.

4 They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.

5 For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee:

The passage goes on to name the Arabic Tribes (nations) that have “consulted together” to form the “Confederacy” against Israel. It’s no coincidence there are TEN nations in total, why? Because they’re the TEN HORNS of Revelation 13’s Seven Headed Beast.

While the whole of the modern Christian church is being taught to await the rapture before the Great Tribulation can begin, few are teaching how several prophecies MUST OCCUR before Christ returns. Chief among them is the Psalm 83 war.

The rapture and Christ's return at the end of the Tribulation are not the same event, though. There are no prophecies that must happen before the rapture, when Christ only comes in the clouds to receive believers up to Him, and does not set foot on the earth. The prophecies which must be fulfilled will be fulfilled before He returns at the end of the Tribulation to rule over the whole earth.

I mean zero disrespect -- President Trump has worked some miracles -- but I highly distrust any so-called peace treaties with Middle East leaders. I fear it's more smoke and mirrors, allowing them time to get their troops and weapons fine-tuned.

All fine and dandy but the folks who wrote this must never have read the book of Obadiah, which details the complete and utter destruction of the Palestinians.

Retrieved from: Summary of the Book of Obadiah - Bible Survey | GotQuestions.org

Date of Writing: The Book of Obadiah was likely written between 848 and 840 B.C.

Purpose of Writing: Obadiah, the shortest book in the Old Testament, is only 21 verses long. Obadiah is a prophet of God who uses this opportunity to condemn Edom for sins against both God and Israel. The Edomites are descendants of Esau and the Israelites are descendants of his twin brother, Jacob. A quarrel between the brothers has affected their descendants for over 1,000 years. This division caused the Edomites to forbid Israel to cross their land during the Israelites' Exodus from Egypt. Edom’s sins of pride now require a strong word of judgment from the Lord.

Key Verses:

Obadiah verse 4, "Though you soar like the eagle and make your nest among the stars, from there I will bring you down," declares the LORD."

Obadiah verse 12, "You should not look down on your brother in the day of his misfortune, nor rejoice over the people of Judah in the day of their destruction, nor boast so much in the day of their trouble."

Obadiah verse 15, "The day of the LORD is near for all nations. As you have done, it will be done to you; your deeds will return upon your own head."

Brief Summary: Obadiah’s message is final and it is sure: the kingdom of Edom will be destroyed completely. Edom has been arrogant, gloating over Israel’s misfortunes, and when enemy armies attack Israel and the Israelites ask for help, the Edomites refuse and choose to fight against them, not for them. These sins of pride can be overlooked no longer. The book ends with the promise of the fulfillment and deliverance of Zion in the Last Days when the land will be restored to God’s people as He rules over them.

Foreshadowings: Verse 21 of the Book of Obadiah contains a foreshadowing of Christ and His Church. “Then saviors shall come to Mount Zion to judge the mountains of Esau, And the kingdom shall be the LORD’s” (NKJV). These “saviors” (also called “deliverers” in several versions) are the apostles of Christ, ministers of the word, and especially the preachers of the Gospel in these latter days. They are called "saviors," not because they obtain our salvation, but because they preach salvation through the Gospel of Christ and show us the way to obtain that salvation. They, and the Word preached by them, are the means by which the good news of salvation is delivered to all men. While Christ is the only Savior who alone came to purchase salvation, and is the author of it, saviors and deliverers of the Gospel will be more and more in evidence as the end of the age draws near.

Practical Application: God will overcome in our behalf if we will stay true to Him. Unlike Edom, we must be willing to help others in times of need. Pride is sin. We have nothing to be proud of except Jesus Christ and what He has done for us.

Who the Edomites are, and where they might be today is discussed here. Food for thought:

The Ezekiel war (Gog and Magog) interests me lately so I tried to work this in with everything going on.

Israel will be safe and "unwalled" it says. The only time I can see them being unwalled is when the AC signs the Daniel 9:27 agreement.

Then right off the bat, they celebrate and tear down walls. "We have peace now".

Then those countries/enemies in Ezekiel 38/39 attack only to get snuffed out by God.

The big issue, as far as timing, with the Ezekiel war is the burning of their weapons for 7 years....but as we know Daniel has extra days, more than 7 years. So this Gog/Magog war breaks out right away after AC signs and ends fast. All within the first month.

Make sense or leaving something out?

I ask this respectfully...
Can we please not turn this thread into a rapture timing debate? Those always turn ugly and I am afraid it will derail the entire discussion.
Of course, I defer to the wishes of the OP in this matter. Thanks in advance.

Another country will sign a peace deal with Israel in ‘next day or two’: US diplomat
Joseph Haboush, Al Arabiya English Wednesday 23 September 2020

Another Arab country will sign a peace deal with Israel in the “next day or two,” a senior US diplomat said Wednesday.
“Our plan is to bring more countries, which we will have more being announced very soon … One [country will sign] in the next day or two,” US Ambassador to the United Nations Kelly Craft told Al Arabiya.

https://news.google.com/publications/CAAqBwgKMOnQlwswi_quAw?oc=3&ceid=US:en&hl=en-US&gl=US
“I know others are going to be following,” she added.
The United Arab Emirates announced in August a deal with Israel to establish diplomatic ties and normalize relations. Bahrain followed suit and the three countries signed the Abraham Accords at the White House on Sept. 15.
Morocco, Oman and Sudan have been reported to be among other countries looking to forge ties with Tel Aviv amid a flurry of diplomatic efforts by Washington to warm relations between the Arab region and Israel.
Craft expressed US hopes that Saudi Arabia would also sign a peace deal with Israel. “Obviously, we would welcome for Saudi Arabia to be next. But what’s important is that we focus on the agreement and we do not allow the [Iranian] regime to exploit the goodwill of Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, or Israel.
“We want to bring everyone on board in hopes that this will allow the Iranian citizens to see that people really want peace in the Middle East, and they are part of this peace,” Craft said.

Iran
Craft slammed Iran for its disruptive and malign behavior in the region.
Saudi Arabia’s King Salman told the UN General Assembly earlier Wednesday that his country had extended a hand to Tehran for peace but was met with more terrorist activities.
“Any time anyone extends a hand to Iran, it must be to the Iranian citizens,” Craft said, adding that countries must be “very careful and cautious” because Iran exploits other countries.

NO but the AC will he showing himself soon.

When war breaks out the one who will stop it will be the AC the whole world will look at too him as the worlds savior. The US and Israel will be attacked it will be sudden and a big surprise a Bolt out of the Blue.
Russia and China will be the lead players along with many more. The US and Israel will how ever prevail.

BINGO.

The AC STOPS the war---saving the world from nuclear annihilation.

A terrified world will be SO GRATEFUL to him that they'll declare "Who is like him? Who is able to make war with HIM?"

They will see him as their (almost) supernatural savior from world self-destruction---and a few years later he will declare himself to be GOD.

(somehow I just can't see TRUMP declaring himself "god")

Signs Saudis are edging towards historic Israel peace
By Frank GardnerBBC security correspondent

Palestinians in Gaza protest against Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Donald Trump and Israel (April 2018)

Image captionThere have been growing ties between Israel and Gulf Arab states, to Palestinians' despair
Will they or won't they? It's a question on a lot of people's minds in the Middle East right now.
Are Saudi Arabia's rulers, historically critics of Israel and its treatment of the Palestinians, finally edging closer to normalising relations with the country often dismissively referred to in the past by Arab media as "the Zionist entity"?
Prompting feverish speculation on social media has been the scathing set of interviews given to Al-Arabiya TV by former Saudi intelligence chief and longtime ambassador to Washington, Prince Bandar Bin Sultan al-Saud, who lambasted Palestinian leaders for criticising recent peace moves with Israel by Gulf Arab states.
"This low level of discourse is not what we expect from officials who seek to gain global support for their cause," said Prince Bandar in the three-part interview.
"Their [Palestinian leaders'] transgression against the Gulf states' leadership with this reprehensible discourse is entirely unacceptable."
Palestinian leaders initially described the UAE and Bahrain's normalisation of relations with Israel as a "betrayal" and "a stab in the back".
Prince Bandar, who spent a remarkable 22 years as Saudi ambassador to Washington and was so close to former US President George W Bush that he was often nicknamed Bandar Bin Bush, spoke of "the historic failures" of the Palestinian leadership. It had taken Saudi support for granted, he told his audience.

Image captionPrince Bandar said Palestinians had been failed by their leaders
Although he made a point of calling the Palestinian cause a "just" one, he placed equal blame on Israel and the Palestinian leadership for failing to reach a peace deal after so many years.
How, he argued, referring to the split between the Palestinian Authority, which governs in the West Bank, and the Palestinian Islamist movement Hamas, which holds power in Gaza, can Palestinians possibly reach a fair deal when their leaders cannot even agree among themselves?
Such words, said a Saudi official close to the ruling family, would not have been aired on Saudi-owned television without the prior approval of both King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman.

Image captionSaudi society has undergone radical changes in recent years
By choosing Prince Bandar, a veteran diplomat and longstanding pillar of the Saudi royal establishment to deliver them, said the official, it was the clearest sign yet that the Saudi leadership may be preparing its population for an eventual deal with Israel.
Historical suspicions
It does seem that both by Prince Bandar's words and by quietly endorsing the recent UAE and Bahraini normalisations with Israel, the Saudi leadership is moving rather faster towards rapprochement with Israel than much of its own population.
For so many years, especially in the more rural, isolated corners of the kingdom, Saudis have been accustomed to viewing not just Israel as the enemy, but also all Jewish people.
I remember in one mountain village in Asir province a Saudi telling me in all seriousness that "on one day of the year Jews drink the blood of babies".
Image copyrightGETTY IMAGES
Saudi women using computers in Jeddah (file photo)

Image captionSaudi Arabia has one of the highest rates of social media use in the region
Thanks to the internet and satellite TV those kinds of conspiracy theories are rarer in the kingdom now; Saudis spend a huge amount of time online and are often better informed about world affairs than people in the West.
Yet given the xenophobia and historical suspicion of outsiders that exist among certain parts of the Saudi population it will take time to turn around this metaphorical tanker in midstream, which is why Saudi Arabia has not rushed to follow its Gulf neighbours in forging a historic deal.
Saddam calamity
Saudi Arabia and the Gulf states' history of relations with the Palestinians is a chequered one.
Gulf governments have nominally supported the Palestinian cause, both politically and financially, for decades.
Image copyrightGETTY IMAGES
Yasser Arafat (left) with Saddam Hussein (file photo)

Image captionPalestinians were expelled from Kuwait over Yasser Arafat's support for Saddam Hussein
But when Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat sided with Iraqi President Saddam Hussein over his invasion and occupation of Kuwait in 1990 they felt an enormous sense of betrayal.
After the US-led Operation Desert Storm and the liberation of Kuwait in 1991, that country expelled the entire expatriate community of Palestinians, replacing them with thousands of Egyptians.
Visiting a traumatised Kuwait City that year, I noticed some Arabic graffiti scrawled on the side of an abandoned pizza restaurant.
"Al-Quds da'iman lil'Sihyouneen, w'ana Kuwaiti', it read. "Jerusalem is the eternal home of the Zionists, and I'm a Kuwaiti [writing this]".
It took a long time for the region's older rulers to get over Arafat's "betrayal". Ironically perhaps, someone who did more than most to heal the rifts across the Arab world was Kuwait's own late Emir, Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Sabah, who died last month, aged 91 .
Saudi peace plan
Saudi Arabia does have history when it comes to holding out an olive branch to Israel.
In March 2002 I was at the Arab Summit in Beirut, where a slight, urbane, balding man with perfect English was doing the rounds, explaining something called the Crown Prince Abdullah Peace Plan.
The man was Adel Jubair, then a foreign affairs adviser in the Crown Prince's Court, now Saudi minister of state for foreign affairs.
Image copyrightREUTERS
UAE Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed (left); Bahrain Foreign Minister Abdullatif Al Zayan (2nd left); Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President Donald Trump at the White House (15/09/20)

Image captionThere has been speculation that a Saudi-Israeli peace deal could follow that of the UAE and Bahrain
The peace plan dominated the summit that year and it was unanimously endorsed by the Arab League.
Essentially, it offered Israel full normalisation with the entire Arab world in exchange for a withdrawal from all occupied territories, including the West Bank, Gaza Strip, Golan Heights and Lebanon, as well as giving the Palestinians East Jerusalem as their capital and reaching a "just solution" for Palestinian refugees who, in the Arab-Israel war of 1948-49, had been expelled or driven from their homes in what became Israel.
The plan received international support and it briefly put Israel's Prime Minister Ariel Sharon on the spot. Here, at last, seemed a chance to end once and for all the historic Arab-Israeli conflict.
But just before the plan was published, Hamas bombed an Israeli hotel in Netanya, killing 30 people and wounding more than 100. All talk of peace was off the table.
Fast forward 18 years and the Middle East has moved on in so many ways, although the Palestinians have yet to achieve independent statehood and Israeli settlements considered illegal under international law continue to encroach on Palestinian land in the West Bank.
The UAE, Bahrain, Jordan and Egypt have now all made their peace with Israel and have full diplomatic relations.
In fact, unlike the strained "cold peace" that Jordan and Egypt have with Israel, the two Gulf states are accelerating their ties with Israel.
Jared Kushner: This is a dramatic breakthrough that will make the Middle East safer
Video captionJared Kushner: "This is a dramatic breakthrough that will make the Middle East safer"
Within days of Bahrain signing the Abraham Accord at the White House, Israel's spy chiefs were visiting Manama, talking intelligence co-operation on their mutual adversary, Iran.
Testing the water
So how do Israeli officials feel about a potential future normalisation with Saudi Arabia?
They have certainly watched Prince Bandar's interview with interest but have so far declined to comment directly.
Instead, a spokesman for the Israeli embassy in London said: "We hope that even more countries will recognise the new reality in the Middle East by joining us on the road to reconciliation."
Saudi Arabia has traditionally moved slowly and with great caution when it comes to changes of policy, testing each move before committing itself.
But the arrival on the scene of the maverick Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman has changed all that.
Women can now drive, there is public entertainment, and the country is slowly opening up to tourism.
So a Saudi-Israeli peace deal, while not necessarily imminent, is now a real possibility.

Palestinian state television has denied news reports of the death of Saeb Erekat, the secretary general of the Palestine Liberation Organization.
Speaking to family members at the Hadassah Medical Center in Israel, Erekat's health condition is currently critical.

Hours earlier, Asharq television channel tweeted a breaking news alert of Erekat dying but had later deleted the tweet from their verified account on Twitter.
Ali Erekat, the son of the Palestinian leader Saeb Erekat, confirmed to Al Arabiya that his father is still undergoing treatment at Hadassah Hospital and that his health condition is critical but stable. He expressed anger at “repeated rumors that spoke about his [Saeb Erekat’s] health condition.”
Erekat, who was the Secretary-General of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), was hospitalized in Israel with COVID-19 and placed on a ventilator on Monday after his condition deteriorated, a spokeswoman for the facility said.
For more coronavirus news, visit our dedicated page.
Erekat was rushed to Jerusalem's Hadassah Medical Center on Sunday from his home in the occupied West Bank. He contracted the coronavirus on October 8.
Erekat underwent lung-transplant surgery in the United States in 2017.
The 65-year-old has been a key figure in Palestinian politics for decades, often serving as a main interlocutor for foreign envoys and the international media.
He has consistently voiced support for a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Israel, UAE, US launch joint fund in Jerusalem during first state visit
Categories: In The News

10/20/2020

The US, Israel and the United Arab Emirates announced the establishment of a joint regional development fund based in Jerusalem during the first-ever visit of a government delegation from Abu Dhabi in Israel on Tuesday.

The Abraham Fund – derived from the Abraham Accords, as the peace between Israel and the UAE and Bahrain is known – will be launched with an office in Jerusalem and a $3 bn. starting trilateral investment to promote economic cooperation and prosperity in the Middle East and North Africa.

The fund “is a manifestation of the new spirit of friendship and cooperation between the three countries, as well as their common will to advance the region,” a statement from the US Embassy in Israel said.

It will invest in “people-focused investments,” including in increased regional trade, strategic infrastructure projects, energy security and agricultural productivity.

US International Development Finance Corporation CEO Adam Boehler announced the fund on the tarmac at Ben-Gurion Airport, where a ceremony was held in honor of the first Emirati government delegation to Israel, led by UAE Financial Affairs Minister Obaid Humaid Al Tayer.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “asked us to come to do everything we could to turn the words of the accords into action and invest behind these accords and support other countries as they support these accords,” Boehler said. “People are tired of the same and want economic security and jobs that come from enduring peace.”

Boehler said progress had been made on two projects, “MedRed,” a preliminary deal with Israeli pipeline company EPAC to transport oil from the UAE to Europe via a pipeline connecting the Red Sea from Eilat to the Mediterranean at the Ashdod Port, and an effort to modernize checkpoints for Palestinians in Israel and Jordan.

Among the agreements Israel and the UAE signed on Tuesday was one allowing for travel between the countries without a visa, the first agreement of its kind between Israel and an Arab state.

The other agreements were on protecting investments, science and technological cooperation, and regular flights between the countries.

“We are making history in a way that will stand for generations,” Netanyahu said. “This meeting shows the region and the entire world the benefit of having friendly, peaceful, normal relations. Ultimately it will be so much better working together as friends.”

Netanyahu spoke of the spirit of “Abraham, Avraham, Ibrahim,” saying the Biblical Patriarch’s name in English, Hebrew and Arabic being behind the agreements.

Business ties between Israel and the UAE’s “many, many talented entrepreneurs will benefit peace,” he added, in what was the theme of all the remarks made at the ceremony.

US Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said that the Abraham Accords mark “direct economic ties between two of the Middle East’s most thriving, advanced economies.

“With greater economic prosperity comes stronger security,” Mnuchin added. “The US, Israel and the UAE share a similar outlook regarding threats and opportunities in the region.”

Tayer said he was honored to lead the UAE’s first government delegation to Israel, which would “deepen bilateral understanding, capitalizing on both countries’ leadership and the great opportunities ahead.”

Touting the UAE’s economic advancement and the importance of the agreements signed with Israel, Tayer said the Abraham Accords will “achieve prosperity and growth for our economies and our people.”

Mnuchin, Boehler and US special representative for international negotiations Avi Berkowitz flew with the UAE delegation from Abu Dhabi to Israel.

Berkowitz tweeted a photo of his boarding pass, as well as Etihad Airways Captain Naeem Alameri, the pilot, saying: “This is a historical movement for UAE country and Israel, and we are looking forward to salaam” – the Arabic word for peace – “in the future.”

President Reuven Rivlin praised the events, tweeting that “ the agreements signed today with UAE ministers are the dawning of a new era of peace in the Middle East. Inshallah” – meaning “God willing” in Arabic – “more will follow and we will live in peace and cooperation with all our neighbors. Welcome to Israel!”
