Trouble Please help

i have a yahoo email account that i can't access right now actually i have 2 of course i don't use them for here but that's not the point i do use it for all other internet activity and for the last 2 hours i can't access it. what do i do? i haven't got a virus i've checked.

second question i have a firewall on my computer and for some reason when i come here or RR i get pinged all the time what is that?

Dunno. As to coming here, we have no malware installed on the servers. (We own them, so I know exactly what's on them.)No idea as to RR. When you attempt accessing the Yahoo account, what message (if any) do you get?

it says error code 999 i tried looking that up but can't find it.

i did reboot my computer in the hopes that it would help, it did for now but what makes that happen?

No clue. Never heard of error 999. The 500 series errors are failures.

the ping could be your popup or spyware blocker, at least thats what earthlink does to mine.

I have several times, last few weeks been unable to access yahoo, due to server overload SOMEwhere. Try later. Could / should work.

Yahoo! is also really picky about cookies. You must have cookies enabled. Some security programs will block or delete cookies, preventing access to Yahoo!.
