FOOD The Ultimate Combo for Long Term Food Storage?

I've been reading a few of the threads about the Harvest Right Freeze Dryer and remembered the VacuCanner, which seems to be a great way to store dry goods in half-gallon and smaller jars for very long term.

Was wondering what y'all thought of this combination: Freeze dry in the Harvest Right, then store the food in various size jars and vacuum with the VacuCanner.

I don't own either one, but have been impressed with both products and think that in combination, they would be absolutely incredible for making your own 30 plus year storage foods.

Thanks WG, all the Harvest Right videos I had watched just had the trays of food before and after the process. Maybe the VacuCanner would be good for folks who dehydrate, but haven't moved up to home freeze drying.
