PLAY The Sun finds American Militia

The British newspaper The Sun, whatever from time to time pontificates on the USA. For whatever reason they OBSESS about American Armed Militia. I find their "expose" hysterical. For one thing, just how STUPID do you have to be to have a British Tabloid publish pictures of you, your weapons, your stash, etc etc Of course, not a peep about antifa, or armed LEFTISTS but par for the course.

Seriously, darwin awards all around. Also, the title is "far right militias too." :D

'BE READY' Inside the far-right American ‘militia networks’ arming themselves for ‘Civil War’ as Joe Biden becomes president

GUN-TOTING militias are arming themselves across America as they fear a coming "Civil War" as Joe Biden prepares to become president.

Hundreds of far-right groups have sprung up across the US and are ramping up recruitment in the fallout from the highly charged election and the coronavirus pandemic.

Online forum My Militia - which promotes itself as an "American Patriot Network" - has more than 20,000 users and has seen a flurry of activity in recent weeks.
The network claims there are 544 militias currently active in the US, carries instructions on how to make explosives and improvised weapons, survivalist tips, threads dedicated to conspiracy theories, and lists of names of members of "Antifa".

Many of the self-appointed militiamen say they are preparing to ride out mass civil unrest, while others more dramatically predict an upcoming "Civil War".
It comes after a string of violence over the summer with Donald Trump blaming extreme left-wing groups for stoking mayhem.

Some groups are braced for attacks by "Antifa" who Trump branded "scum" after clashes at a recent marches in Washington DC.

Um, gang any "militia" member who goes to this web site, openly posts, will definitely be on the CIA list, and the FBI list and the DOJ list and the camel toe harris shoot on sight list. :conf:

Guess they never heard about Dad's Army in WWTwice. And 'borrowed' firearms from the USA either (which were dumped at sea after the war).

THE REAL 'DAD'S ARMY'

The Home Guard was set up in May 1940 as Britain's 'last line of defence' against German invasion. Members of this 'Dad's Army' were usually men above or below the age of conscription and those unfit or ineligible for front line military service.

On 14 May 1940, Secretary of State for War Anthony Eden made a broadcast calling for men between the ages of 17 and 65 to enrol in a new force, the Local Defence Volunteers (LDV). By July, nearly 1.5 million men had enrolled and the name of this people's army was changed to the more inspiring Home Guard.

The Home Guard was at first a rag-tag militia, with scarce and often make-do uniforms and weaponry.

The network paid for, and operated by, and 99% of the members are, FBI agents...

When "Doomsday Preppers" was a thing an acquaintance of mine tried to get me on the show when they did several days of filming at his place. He knew about my situation because he was a Mountain House dealer and I bought a bunch of stuff from him (At a nice discount). They built a gallows in the episode to hang "traitors" who may betray "The group" post SHTF. I told him not no, but hell no and that he better not mention me to those fools.

The entire thing was scripted by the producers to get views. NONE of it was true, none. He was not even really much of a prepper and was trying to promote his business. They filmed the business' inventory claiming it was his "Stash" and blocked out the business name on all of the cases of food. They made him look like a fool and screwed him out of getting his web name out there.

Never trust the media, ever.

They OBSESS about the armed militia because it was what sent them packing back in 1775-1783. Then the "official" military of ours 167 some years later kept them from speaking german...

At the OK federal bldng bombing, I was astounded at the TEEVEE Talking Heads. All they could talk about was whether this was the first sign of the militia rising. I finally realized that the Cultural Left is in terror that the Lesser Classes might wise up to them and rise, and the thought that they might be armed is beyond imagination.

Nothing has changed.

Don't talk to the media.....ever.

Oh yes, do.

Smile beatifically for the camera and say clearly, "Thank you, I have nothing further to say." :D
