COMMUNISM The stupidity in CA never ceases to amaze. Small engines & generators to be banned.

Shit seems like half of them came from another state, I'd love to send them back to where they came from.

But then I suppose I'd get flack when you all discover the worthless assholes in Calif, are from your own state and you don't want them back. :kaid:
Well, come to think of it, Jed, Granny, Elly May and Jethro WERE from Tennessee....

I have battery powered chainsaws and a battery powered weed eater. They work very well on small trees and weeds around a house. It helps to have more than one battery. Large trees are more difficult. Last year I cut up a large fallen pine tree. The largest round of wood was 18 inches across. It took quite a while to make the last cut and 2 charges for the battery.

So, for light duty they work very well and can do medium duty rather slowly. I heat my little cabin with the wood I cut and some coal. Heavy duty work is for engines not batteries.

I agree. Nothing wrong with the suburban home owner using electric yard tools.

But for rural areas, and fringe rural, no way. And its dumb with the technology we have today. I mow an acre and 1/4, with a surrounding fence and over hanging rose bushes that I weed eat. Takes me about 1, 3/4 hour to mow, my neighbor mows even more and takes him 3 hours. The other neighbor doesn't mow at all. So not sure if he has moved his house at times.

Try to keep in rotation 3 cords of wood a year, some of which measured 38 inches in dia. Using a 20 inch blade had to cut from both sides and it was red oak. Had an exceptional year and since last year about this time have cut 5 cords, all oak.

To top it off all of my motorized equipment was purchased before battery operated came into vogue. So am not junking my stuff, which is some really good equipment, and buying more really good equipment.

The only concession I made was my saw blade sharpener is electric, plug in type.

So mandating it is dumb, and was done by people who never venture beyond the city limit sign. Thinking everybody lives in a cul-de-sac, and noise gets on their nerves.

Where is the electric power going to come from? They already tell people to only charge their cars at certain times. Electricity comes from power plants somewhere. It's not magic.
They be like .....What? When did they start that?

Correct - you plug it into a piece of coal or natural gas !

Flipping political IDIOTS!! This is not going to stop ANYONE!! People will just go out of state to purchase what they want and drive it across the border, like they do for everything else VERBOTEN by liberals in this state. I'm not giving up my three generators or my chain saw or my log splitter. They can bugger off.

Once again it's liberal enviro-nazi "city" pukes dictating what "country folks" can have and can do.....:fgr2::fgr::fgr2::chg: Which we simply ignore them and go about our business. Don't have time to waste on their B.S. green deals.
