I saw this earlier and posted elsewhere.

No matter. Has any news source published the letter verbatim so you can read it?

Here you go Limner:

MILFORD, N.H. —
Milford police are trying to track down whoever is behind a series of letters that were sent to supporters of President Donald Trump threatening to burn down their homes.

Kelly, a Milford resident who asked to be identified only by her first name, said she received one of the letters.

"Dear neighbor," the letter read. "You have been identified by our group as being a Trump supporter. Your address has been added to our database as a target when we attack should Trump not concede the election."

The anonymous author went on to say Kelly should hope her home insurance has fire coverage.

"I was very taken aback," Kelly said.
Milford police said the same letter was mailed to other homes that have signs supporting Trump's presidential campaign. The department is now investigating and has contacted the state Attorney General's Office.

"This is my home," Kelly said. "You're not supposed to threaten my home. I'm very worried in the sense that this is going on in my town."
Two people in Brookline have also received a letter.

"I was kind of quite shocked that anyone would send a letter out with that type of threat," said Brookline police Chief Bill Quigley.

Quigley said he alerted the U.S. Postal Inspection Service and said whoever is behind the letters could face serious charges.

"Not only with us, with criminal threatening," Quigley said. "It's on a felony level, because of the threat of burning homes down and causing injury, but it could also be with the postal inspectors, something on the federal level."

Kelly said she wanted to share her story to encourage others who received the letter to come forward and contact their local authorities.

I’d bet they could find out who sent those letters...if they really wanted to.

Also, the recipient’s public responses should have been more strident, aggressive, and martial...

They came off (as did the police chief) as soft and frightened instead of promising violence to anyone who approaches them or their family/home.

That is exactly why I’m terrified to have a Trump sign in my yard or a car sticker. Or a hat. Or even tell anybody I don’t know well and know they are also Trump supporters. In fact, our next door neighbor has a sign in his yard, and it’s right on the property edge, so it could possibly be mistaken for ours, which does not make me happy. There’s also one on the building beside our business. If I could, I’d fly flags and have signs and the whole nine yards. It’s sad and I feel like a coward, but I have a family. :( Sure can’t keep me from voting for him though! (I already did, in person.)

A couple months ago another neighbor said he was out working in his yard and saw a truck plastered with BLM stickers driving by really slow. He and DH theorized they were taking note of who had Trump signs and/or car stickers. Well, we’ve got several on our side of the street and a big flag flying across the street... worries me.

Don’t let it worry you, let it strengthen your resolve and will.

Decide now how you and your family and neighbors will act next time they drive through your neighborhood...and what you’ll do when 11/3 comes and things really get spicy.

They should be made to be very hesitant to drive through a neighborhood casing it out.

They need to be very reluctant to even be around you, let alone provoke you by a slow drive by with their ‘colors’ showing!

Ours probably isn’t the typical neighborhood they’d want to attack. We’re pretty spread out and at least the 3 surrounding me are gun owners, and likely also preppers to some extent. But you never know.

That "never know" part is what is bugging people.

In order to find who is distributing these letters the first question I would ask is, where were they printed? If a professional job the printer can be identified. If it is a home copier or a zerox, there should be someone who remembers selling a large amount of paper.

Yea, I live in the S. Chicongo suburbs and I put up a TRUMP sign.
If they burn it down, Indiana is calling.

No guts, no glory!

I don't care anymore. Bring it!

Don’t let it worry you. Get ready. If it’s going to happen ... you can’t hide. Eye for an eye ..
square up and handle it. Take pictures as they scope you out, Stare them square in the eyes, get plates, faces, cars, anything you can.

If the letters were actually mailed doesn't that bring the crime to a federal level? I am sure the left-wingers, err uhh feds responsible for investigating this crime will get right on it.

Honestly, school just started. Many people have bought lots of paper. I don't think this is the kind of job a professional printer would take, and the letter did not look professionally printed. Someone is just running them off a printer at home or job.

However, I believe many printers leave a mark or code. It is called steganography. I am linking to a Wiki post for those who like to argue about such things (not you day late, there are some people who do not understand things and then spend days arguing with one about stuff they know nothing about). I do not have time for that. Go to 5.1 use in modern printers. Steganography - Wikipedia

I believe a technique like this was used in catching or confirming the identity of the BTK killer. Well, that and the fact that he called the police and asked if he sent them a disc if it could be traced back to him. "No, of course not. We don't have that kind of technology." LOL

That note sounds like whoever wrote it also wrote the JonBenet Ramsey ransom note. I hope the person/s who did it are caught and sent to a federal PMITA prison.

judging from the copy of the letter posted in the bs, I posted there that, IMO, the letters were neither professionally done nor professionally printed/copied. Compared to all of the professionally done signs and banners used in the peaceful protests, these letters were done by some low-IQ basement dweller rather than Antifa/BLM. And someone else commented that the perp(s) should be easy to find, what with all the Ring-type doorbells now in use.

If we ever got a letter like that, I'd be all over the county sheriff like white on rice. I'd be screaming to the local newspaper, sending copies to state and federal officials, and writing to the local paper and TV stations. I take a threat like that VERY personally!

You and I have no argument. I am the first one to admit my knowledge of such things is limited to what I see on T.V. (Which of course you know is always true). However if you what to talk about the best way to open a lock, THEN we may disagree.

Uhmmm, not so much. Office Despot for a case of paper. Staples for one. Amazon for a couple, Walmart or Sams for a couple, BJ's for a couple, so far I'm at 6-8 and got the rest of the afternoon off to go buy a couple cases of bottles, some corks, and some wicking from Pat Catan's. And I guarantee you that NO ONE has raised an eyebrow.

As we've opined here before, journalism is dead.
1. How did it arrive? Postmarked or not?
2. Did the homeowner have any displays showing she supported Trump?
3. How many reports of these letters are there in how many communities?

And so on...... National News should address what locations if more than 1 state.

This is clearly an attempt at election intimidation, and should be prosecuted as such.

Wonder if any of those that got the letter has a ring camera or some other sort of security camera on their properties?

Maybe, maybe not, I have a hundred plus reams of paper up in my office that I bought sometime around 2007 for printing off instructions when I was teaching live classes.

I won't put up any political signs, but i have a huge American flag nailed to my fence. I am worried about that. Once it starts ripping and falling apart after a couple years i won't put it up again.
