Left-wing author Ibram Kendi, author of the book "How to Be An Antiracist," triggered a tsunami of backlash on Saturday after suggesting that Amy Coney Barrett adopted to Haitian children to shield herself from accusations of racism.

What did Kendi say?
Kendi responded to a purported picture of Barrett with her two adopted Haitian children. The photo, however, was not of Barrett.
Some White colonizers "adopted" Black children. They "civilized" these "savage" children in the "superior" ways of White people, while using them as props in their lifelong pictures of denial, while cutting the biological parents of these children out of the picture of humanity.

And whether this is Barrett or not is not the point. It is a belief too many White people have: if they have or adopt a child of color, then they can't be racist.

I'm challenging the idea that White parents of kids of color are inherently "not racist" and the bots completely change what I'm saying to "White parents of kids of color are inherently racist." These live and fake bots are good at their propaganda. Let's not argue with them.

What was the response?
Although Kendi did not specifically accuse Barrett of using her Haitian children as "props" to hide accusations of racism, many believed the implications of his comments were very clear and, ironically, racist.
  • "Are you suggesting that any white family who adopts black children are colonizers and that interracial adoption is somehow evil? Please clarify because if this is your position, it's an evil one," one person responded.
  • "Kinda sounds like you're projecting some weird racist s**t onto it idk man," another person said.
  • "You ever thought that just maybe race is irrelevant to some people when it comes to loving another human.. Crazy I know," another person responded.
  • "Or two orphaned Haitian children are adopted by a white family who love these children as if they are their own and are loved by aunts, uncles, grandparents and cousins they otherwise would never have known," another person said.
  • "Ibram you going to adopt a starving child from Haiti or just b***h about white people adopting a child & giving them a opportunity they wouldn't ever have in poverty," another person said.
  • One person mocked, "'I wish those black kids had stayed in their Haitian orphanage instead of coming to America,"'said the anti-racist."
  • "This person is a disgusting racist. Period," another person said.
  • Sen. Tom Cotton said, "Ibram Kendi launches a cruel, racist attack against Judge Barrett and her family. But what else would we expect from a fraud like him?"
On Saturday, President Donald Trump officially nominated Barrett to be the next Supreme Court justice.

One reason I hope the Senate just blasts this thing through (take a vote without hearings!) is so this woman and her family don't have to endure the Democrat onslaught to their character. Next week is not soon enough.

In fact, stand up and use that very wording before you proceed straight to a vote, Mitch. The bastards deserve it.

So she and her husband planned years ago to adopt these kids out of orphanages as a long game to be able to say they are not racists when she would be up for the supreme court.

Yah, I'm sure her kids all know she and their father really hate them , in truth. They understand they are just pawns in their plot to colonize and be systemically racist. And every time they changed their diapers, and cuddled them while sick, and held and kissed and sang to them before bed each night and when they had bad dreams, it was all just using them.

I saw all of their kids. They seemed comfortable and happy with one another. They looked like a regular family.

As one of those people in the op said, race is irrelevant to some people in regards loving another human.

You know what I think it is with black people like this? I think they're jealous. When they see black kids who dress their best, and want to do something with themselves, or those who had a better life provided for them by good parents--whether they be adoptive or biological--I think these kids, and eventually adults, hate them because those other kids got to have something that they never had. They secretly covet that love and stability that provided those other black children with the wonderful things and opportunities they have, and those that don't have those things because there's no father in the home, their mother has 6 or 7 baby daddies, and they live in the S#!^^y ghetto culture, resent those who managed to escape.

It's sad really.

My step brother and his wife adopted a Chinese girl 20 years ago, so I guess they are racist too? I am really comimg to despise all demoncrats. Kids of government officials used to be off limits, until Peter fonda said he wanted to put Barron Trump in a cage. What happens to the liberals once we deploreables start to settle scores is on them.

I think both Madonna and Angelina Jolie have some adopted black kids in their broods. Given their lifestyles, I am not sure how positive that is for the kids. We had a case in Oregon where a lesbian couple adopted some black kids and then drove them over a cliff into the ocean a few years back.
Barret's kids looked pretty damn normal to me, plus the special needs child looked okay. A. Impressive and functional catholic family from my first look.

People started saying stuff like this a number of years ago (we have several friends with adopted children from China and Africa). You all know the Bible verse that says that in the End Times, people will call evil good, and call good evil, right? I think this is another manifestation of that -- adopting children is (generally -- I know there are exceptions) good, so attack it with any made-up excuse you can find.

I used to work with a raging lesbian leftist. She married a butch woman who worked in social services for child welfare. They adopted three black boys. The butch was eventually fired for impropriety while on the job. She likely used her authority to aid in the adoption of the boys.

I have heard all three boys are psycholically messed up and were teased at school for having two white moms.
The raging lesbian still works at the same job at low pay.

I remember people hated to deal with her. Nobody could get any work done around her, because all she wanted to do all day was chat. Her workload was always backed up. She insisted on reviewing every report that went through the lab. I remember seeing a pile of lab reports a foot high, waiting for review. It was nuts.

I listened to the great one (Rush) and he quoted articles that at Ruth Bader Ginsberg's viewing almost 150 past and present clerks for the justice bid their good bye to her and it was very apparent that their were little to none persons of color in the ranks. Does that make Ginsberg a racist? I have not heard any lefties field that one nor mention that equality thing. But you can bet if a Conservative Justice passed it would be talked about as if the devil had done it.

No one goes through the expense and difficulty to adopt a child for show. Raising a child, whether adopted, natural or foster, is difficult enough without anyone tearing down a family for political reasons. I have two natural, one adopted and had eight foster children and I loved all and believe me when I say none were angels! Anyone that attacks a family for political reasons is just plain evil.

The liberals have had the Supreme Court stacked with liberal judges so why are they whining about conservatives having their turn. Gee didn't they parents teach them to take turns?
