(MORE: America's 10 Most Weather-Delayed Major Airports)
Travel Concerns: Rain and snow could cause travel problems from Southern California into the Rockies and Plains. Lingering wind might cause airport delays in the Northeast.
Northeast: Gusty winds from low pressure tracking toward Atlantic Canada could create delays at some Northeast airports. That system might also bring lingering snow showers to parts of northern New England.
South: Portions of the Southern Plains and lower Mississippi Valley could experience wet roads as scattered showers move through. The Southeast will experience dry travel as high pressure moves over the region.
Midwest: Snow might slicken roads in the Northern and Central Plains. Rain could dampen roads from the mid-Mississippi Valley into the Ohio Valley.
West: Snow will fall down to valley floors of the interior West, including Salt Lake City. Parts of the Desert Southwest and Southern California will see more rain.

A slight break before more rain and mountain snow
After some light rain moved through late Saturday night and early Sunday, we're waking up to a bit of remaining light rain or heavy mist in SW WA and NW OR on this Sunday, Nov. 24th.
Fog and overcast skies were prevalent around the Metro area. Expect conditions to dry slightly through the midday, as we'll be between systems. Rain redevelops across the region late this afternoon into the evening hours. Mountain snow begins to fall, with snow levels dropping to around 3,000' (below pass level) tonight into Monday.
Monday looks fairly wet for the lowlands. Mountains will continue to see snow. If you or your family are driving over the passes, especially into Southern Oregon Tuesday or Wednesday, please use www.tripcheck.com to track the latest conditions with live cameras and alerts. Be prepared for winter driving conditions if you are heading out of the Valley and into or over the mountains at all.
Rain and snow showers continue into Tuesday morning, but then the moisture cuts off and the East Wind starts to fire up. It will pump much colder air into the Metro and Valley locations. So while we'll dry out for the most part, we will likely see temperatures decline rapidly from the 40s to the 30s. Overnight lows will be in the 20s.
