Warthog, it's to live in when the foreclosure on my house is complete sometime in early november. Since I cannot count on a job anymore (who among us CAN these days?), I needed something that the pups and I could live in if necessary. So IF I were to (through some miracle) actually get a job, I could use it to travel around and meet TBers. How I'd LOVE to do that! If not, I'll find a place to park it and live as best I can. I said I'd never give up the pups no matter what. I meant it.
No, Odin and Hermione have not yet been inside. I just got the thing home at about 7 PM past night, which was too late to try and acclimate them. I had to drag out the old mattress (you should've seen it - it was ragged and thrashed), and got all the paperwork out so I could review it this morning. In about 20 minutes or so, I'm going to go to the bank and get the last installment in cash, and go pay the former owner and get the final Bill of Sale.
On Friday, I take it to Eau Claire for a front-end alignment just to make sure that everything is okay in that regard. After that, I can "hit the road" if need be with a fair degree of confidence. (The alignment is $165!!! gag!) I have "AAA RV Plus" which will protect me if I ever have a breakdown.
