Wow, this happened last night, but they just reported it this morning. No word on where the patient was transferred.

Oh he'll just disappear after the announcement that it turns out he had the flu. Move along folks.

What's really annoying is all the sheeple who posted in the comment section. They appear to actually believe the story the government is putting out, that there is no risk of Ebola in the US.

Lots of other flu type ailments this time of year, but do you want to be sitting next to a possible ebola carrier. Will see my doctor in 2 weeks. Will ask him what he will do if SHTF. Honest guy.

That is nice that there is a "professional" that you feel comfortable talking to. I have a relative who is a nurse director (I forgot the correct title) and this relative is going along with what the CDC says.

HOUSTON -

Cleaning crews scoured the lobby of the Atascocita branch of Texas Emergency Care Center late Monday night.

Hospital officials said a patient arrived at the center Monday evening showing symptoms similar to Ebola.

A representative for the Texas Emergency Care Center said the patient is believed to be at low risk for the deadly virus.

As a precaution, the center closed off the lobby for less than two hours, while crews thoroughly cleaned the area. The lobby reopened shortly after midnight Tuesday morning.

A representative said the cleaning was in accordance with CDC guidelines to minimize any risk of potential contamination.

I'm glad the person stopped by! matter of fact I'd like to see this happen at the White House every time someone gets that disease that we're not supposed to worry about!

Weren't they all low risk?

It just dawned on me. The story is life goes on with or without ebola. The government is going to pull out all stops to keep the economy working for them. Sad. I thought our country was better than that.

Here's a first hand account of what happened, from ADC:

"My luck, I went to Texas Emergency Care last night for a personal health issue. While waiting in the observation room the Doctor and his assistant came in with a solemn look, shut the door and asked my wife and me if we had been in contact with a person from West Africa in the lobby waiting area. We said no. The Doctor said prior to us coming in that a person came in to the receptionist and claimed they just got off a plane from West Africa and felt they had symptoms of Ebola….then they decided not to stay and left. The Doctor was following protocol by asking these questions…and yes my wife asked a million and one back. He then proceeded to tell us that the lobby was shut down and we will leave by the back door when ready. The Emergency Care by protocol then called all the area’s Hospitals and ER’s to give a description of this person and what they were wearing and to be on the lookout. All agency were called and the Doctor assured us that all clear had been given to them by these agencies. The lobby was shut down and you could smell bleach all throughout the building. The doctor also pointed out the Herman Hospital is getting about 15 people a day walking in telling the ER that they have Ebola to find out they do not. Your call was this a prank or real from this person? Scares the He.. out of me."
