RACE WAR Texans Defend Confederate Statue

The video is 3:20 minutes long. This is Weatherford, Texas yesterday, small town west of Fort Worth, Texas. I have friends in this town. I worked at the hospital there for a few years. I can tell you from what I know of this community as a whole they are not racists. There were some carrying the confederate flags, however. ANTIFA groups were bused in to destroy the statue that sits on the county court house lawn. The protestors started out around the statue and the locals intervened and eventually in mass like a united wall of people walked the antagonists back and they finally left. Local police and sheriff department were in attendance. Those idiots done messed with the wrong town.

We've got a similar situation going on in a small town a few miles from us. One Confederate statue they want removed. City Council is having meetings to decide where to remove it to, but no one ever shows up at the meetings out of protest. Who would ever thought that by just not showing up it would keep the statue in place. I laugh every time I hear the Mayor talk about it.

There's plenty of Southern Good Ole Boys protecting it, too.

What SB means is none of the Alderman show up for the meeting. So they can't conduct any town business. At least so far.

The town is Okolona, MS. There was a huge battle there, and was sort of a turning point in the invasions of Yankee's into MS. Meaning if Forrest had of lost the battle, the Yankee's (think it was Gen. Smith) would have married up with Sherman in Meridian, and marched to Atlanta from there. Forrest winning that battle (had a cousin in the fight) caused the North to re-arrange their strategy.

Huge Confederate Cemetery there also. All the Yankee dead were moved to Shiloh.
