This is the third installment of "Campy Sci-Fi" movies

It's sci-fi movie time on TB2K. Here are a variety of movies to help kick back from the real world if only for a few hours.
I'm putting each in a separate post. That should make it easier to comment, discuss, or like a specific choice.

The first movie is Spaced Invaders. This 1990 sci-fi comedy stars Douglass Barr and Arianna Richards. This is so stupid it's hilarious.

- Dimwitted Martians drop into a little Illinois town on the day that the local radio station happens to rebroadcast Orson Welles 1938 "War Of The Worlds".

A crew of Martians overhears a radio broadcast of Orson Welle's _War of the Worlds_ coming from Earth, and, thinking the Martian fleet is attacking Earth, they land their broken-down ship in a backwater mid-American town. As luck would have it, they land on Halloween and get mistaken for trick-or-treaters. Comedy ensues as the Martians try to get taken seriously.

The second movie is Brainstorm. This 1983 sci-fi thriller stars Christopher Walken, Natalie Wood, and Cliff Robertson.

Researchers develop a system where they can jump into people's minds. But when people involved bring their personal problems into the equation, it becomes dangerous - perhaps deadly.

A research scientist has been experimenting with a revolutionary brain-reading device. This wondrous machine is able to read a person's thought processes and translate these to videotape. When the scientist wants to study the brainwaves of his late partner, he finds himself seriously at odds with his superiors-not to mention several ominous-looking government types.

The third movie is The Time Machine. This 1960 sci-fi adventure stars Rod Taylor, Alan Young, and Yvette Mimieux. This is based on the H. G. Wells novel and is a highly rated film.

A man's vision for a utopian society is disillusioned when traveling forward into time reveals a dark and dangerous society.

The fourth movie is Robinson Crusoe on Mars. This 1964 sci-fi space adventure stars Paul Mantee, Victor Lundin, Adam West, and Mona the Monkey.

Stranded on Mars with only a monkey as a companion, an astronaut must figure out how to find oxygen, water, and food on the lifeless planet.

The fifth movie is Revenge of the Creature. This 1955 creature feature stars John Agar, Lori Nelson, and John Bromfield.

The Creature from the Black Lagoon (1954) has been captured by scientists and transported to an aquarium in south Florida. Once there, he becomes attracted to lovely female scientist Helen Dobson (Lori Nelson). He manages to escape and kidnap her then heads to Jacksonville, with her real-life love in pursuit.
