First up this week is THE WORLD'S FASTEST INDIAN. This 2005 film stars Anthony Hopkins as New Zealander Burt Munro, who spent years rebuilding a 1920 Indian motorcycle, which helped him set the land speed world record at Utah's Bonneville Salt Flats in 1967. This is a good film for young and old. I've recommended this to several people in the past and all loved it. It's a nice movie to kick back and root for those who dare impossible things and have interesting trips getting there. This movie is about more than just going fast on a motorcycle.

The second film is DEATH WISH 3. Charles Bronson is back in this 1985 movie as vigilante Paul Kersey fighting the scum and hunting the criminals that killed his friend in NYC.
- Wildey is coming to town.
- Paul Kersey, New York City architect and part-time vigilante, returns from L.A. to visit an old friend. Instead, he must avenge his death by fighting youth gangs.
- Architect/vigilante Paul Kersey arrives back in New York City and is forcibly recruited by a crooked police chief (Ed Lauter) to fight street crime caused by a large gang terrorizing the neighborhoods.

The 4th film is THE MAN WHO SAVED CHRISTMAS. This 2002 film stars Jason Alexander as A.C. Gilbert in a true story set during WW1.
- If you ever owned an American Flyer trainset, chemistry set or Erector set, you've been in touched by AC Gilbert.
- Although their own father, bank Charles, refuses them a loan to start a novelty American toys company to rival the established German import, the brothers A.C. and Frank succeed, especially with constructive and educational products. When the US gets dragged into Word War I, Frank enlists and Woodrow Wilson's government recruits A.C. as consultant to convert factories like theirs for the war effort. Yet his gifted preteen son, whose schoolmates meanly turned on the 'Christmas killer's kid', ends up convincing him to refuse canceling Christmas and even resume toy production.

The final film is HOME FOR CHRISTMAS. This 1990 film stars Mickey Rooney who gives a touching performance as Elmer, an elderly homeless man who is taken in by a family at Christmas to repay them by doing chores around their house for having broken into their car previously and having taken some items. The children of the family have no grandparents and grow fond of Elmer.
