With tomorrow being a holiday for some and the 4th on Saturday,
I am posting these a night early.
It's an unusual mix this week, again.

Note that amazon has further taken over IMDB.
Movie posters are now hard to get so no more posters.
They can be seen at the IMDB link if interested, just not saved easily

It's movie time on TB2K again. Here are a variety of movies to help kick back from the real world if only for a few hours.
I'm putting each in a separate post. That should make it easier to comment, discuss, or like a specific choice.
If you watch or download a movie, please comment or like it to guide future selections.
The movie mix comes from youtube and archive.org. That will continue for the future.

The first movie is The Infiltrator. This 2016 crime drama stars Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad), John Leguizamo (John Wick), and Diane Kruger.

- A U.S. Customs official uncovers a money laundering scheme involving Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar.

During the 1980s, U.S. Customs Service special agent Robert Mazur uses his undercover alias "Bob Musella" to become a pivotal player for drug lords cleaning their dirty cash. Later, he infiltrates the world's largest cartel, and helps expose the money-laundering organization of drug lord Pablo Escobar and takes down the Bank of Credit and Commerce International, which had secretly taken illegal ownership of First American Bank shares in Washington, D.C.

The second movie is THX 1138. This 1971 dystopian sci-fi film by George Lucas (Star Wars fame) stars Robert Duvall, Donald Pleasence, and Don Pedro Colley.

- In the twenty-fifth century, a time when people have designations instead of names, a man, THX 1138, and a woman, LUH 3417, rebel against their rigidly controlled society.

George Lucas adapted this, his first film, from a short he made at University. THX 1138, LUH 3417, and SEN 5241 attempt to escape from a futuristic society located beneath the surface of the Earth. The society has outlawed sex, with drugs used to control the people. THX 1138 stops taking the drugs, and gets LUH 3417 pregnant. They are both thrown in jail where they meet SEN 5241 and start to plan their escape.

The third movie is Traded. This 2016 western stars Kris Kristofferson, Trace Adkins, Michael Pare` and Tom Sizemore.

In 1880s Kansas, sharpshooter turned rancher, Clay Travis (Michael Parè), goes from happily married father of two to a man on a mission after the tragic death of his son and the disappearance of his daughter. Determined to bring his daughter home safely, and to protect what little family he has left, Clay leaves his quiet ranch and heads to Wichita and then to Dodge City while tracking an evil brothel owner, LaVoie, with the help of an unlikely companion, Billy. Together they set out to destroy LaVoie and his henchman and save Clay's daughter while leaving a trail of gun smoke and dead bodies in their wake.

The fourth movie is Night of the Hunter. This 1955 crime drama stars Robert Mitchum, Shelly Winters, and Lillian Gish. Robert Mitchum was normally a good guy, but not in this noir-styled film.

- A religious fanatic marries a gullible widow whose young children are reluctant to tell him where their real daddy hid the $10,000 he'd stolen in a robbery.

The fifth movie is The Wicker Man. This 1973 horror mystery stars Edward Woodward, Christopher Lee, and Britt Ekland. This one is no kids allowed.

A puritan Police Sergeant is sent to a Scottish island village in search of a missing girl who the townsfolk claim never existed; stranger still are the pagan rites that take place there.

The sixth movie is The Hills Have Eyes. This 1977 Wes Craven horror thriller stars Robert Houston, Martin Speer, and Dee Wallace. This one is also no kids allowed.

A family going to California accidentally goes through an Air Testing range closed to the public. They crash and are stranded in a desert where they are stalked by a group of people who have not adapted to modern times.
