The original movies posted on Tuesday night were discovered and deleted.
Those were all from the same source and they can disappear quickly.

These are some alternate movies that are good.
I'm taking a break from funeral and family activities, so these are abbreviated format as well.
Use the IMDB links to learn more about each movie.

There are 6 movies this week.
I recommend watching or saving these sooner rather than later.

This thread on MAIN has the info about the movies and is the place for discussion about them, as before.
However, all of the movie and download links are located in a separate,
members-only, thread in the MEDIA CENTER at this link:

----------->>> Link to the thread containing the actual movie links (click this) <<<-----------

This should help protect the source of the movies and keep them available longer.

If you watch or download a movie, please comment or like to guide future selections.
Click the "movies" tag at top to see a list of previous movie threads.

Movie trailers (from youtube) can be found in post #8 of this thread. (not this week, but they aren't hard to find on YT)
Click the "movies" tag at the top of this thread to see a list of all movies posted in the past.

Enjoy the Show!

Just wanted to add-these movies tonight are of impeccable quality. Blu ray disc quality from what I've seen. Dr. Zhivago on my workstation laptop looks like I have a theater in my lap. Really good quality movies!

Yes, thank you Rebel yell, and 1911, for all the movies.
..I guess I'm going to finally watch "the hunt for red october", though "not" having seen it, n thus not getting
references has led to lots of fun miscommunications, which I hope won't be solved entirely :D

Just watched Vinny. What a total blast.

A lot of that movie was filmed around Monticello and Jackson, GA. The opening sequence where they're pulling into the gas station? It's on hwy. 16 outside Monticello. Used to stop there when traveling the area long ago.

I'm back home now.

Quality varies among the movies. One of the better indicators is size of the download file. The file size has to be roughly 0.6 GB or larger to be seriously considered for posting here. Below that and the video quality is usually just not good enough in my opinion i.e. it is not comfortable for me to watch on a 24" monitor. The 1.5-2.0 GB files are usually the sweet spot in my experience for size and quality.

I have little control of the size of files that I find. I can only choose to use them or not. Ultimately I make a decision of whether I think it would be a good fit on TB and hope for no subtitle or foreign language issues.
