VIDEO TB2K Movies- Last movie thread for awhile -

This thread is to post the last of the movies (and series) I've found or been sent.
This will be a mix of larger files, unusual movies, normal movies that just hadn't been posted, and movies that require some special effort to watch (adding missing subtitles).
No movie posters or fluffy extras this week. It's just the basics.
Check back in a day or 2, I may find more links to add.
Others are encouraged to add their found movies (post here or in the links thread depending on if the source should be hidden)

Quite a few of the previously posted movies are still available to watch. There are 2 years worth, so........
Click the "movies" tag at top to see a list of previous movie threads.

I recommend watching or saving any you are interested in soon.

This thread on MAIN has the info about the movies and is the place for discussion about them.
However, all of the movie and download links are located in a separate,
members-only, thread in the MEDIA CENTER at this link:

---->>> Link to the thread containing the actual movie links (click this) <<<----

This should help protect the source of the movies and keep them available longer.

I Hope You Enjoyed the Shows!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Movies - watch the file sizes on these.

The Wizard of Oz 1939

Soylent Green 1973

The Great Escape 1963

The Magnificent Seven 1960

Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid 1969

The Silencing 2020

In the Mouth of Madness 1994

The Ten Commandments 1956

The Omega Man 1971

Les Miserables 1952

The Thing From Another World 1951

In the Heat of the Night 1967 (good quality, but this has spanish subtitles)

The Sunshine Boys 1975

-----------------------------------------------
Series - be wary of the file sizes on these. Some are large.

The Matrix (3 movies)

Old Planet of the Apes (5 movies)

New Planet of the Apes (3 movies)

Band of Brothers mini-series (10 episodes)

The Pacific mini-series (10 episodes)

James Bond (all of them, I think...)
Who hasn't heard of James Bond :D

Twilight series (5 movies)

Harry Potter series (8 movies)

Lethal Weapon 1-4

Pirates of the Caribbean (first 5 movies)
Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003) - IMDb

The Stand (all 4 parts)

------------------------------------------------
Missing Subtitle or special movies

CODA (Children of Deaf Adults) - this is a musical comedy mostly with a deaf family and a daughter who can hear. Unless you can sign very well, you will need the subtitles for this movie. The music is great and it is funny! You just need to download the movie and play it with the subtitles for it to make sense. I give you the subtitles, you just need to use a media player that allows adding separate subtitle files. I'll provide a link to one I use if asked.

Ready or Not (This one is jittery when watched, but has great potential for fun) -

I just found a couple more to edit/add. If you don't check back tomorrow, you might not be aware of some new additions.

Glad you are sticking around. So you must have been here for the old Greenspun days as well. In any case glad to hear it and still very much appreciate your cinematic kindness.

Always behind the times, I am. Just started watching Soylent Green. Heard a lot about it, but never saw when it was new or popular.

Seems prophetic that the story takes place in 2022!

In The Mouth of Madness is probably my favorite John Carpenter film. Thank you, sir, for all the legwork that dug these prizes out of the internet.

I watched them all, and I am saddened that you are going to stop. Could you please post at least one more? The Bobbsey Twins Tupperware Extravaganza With the out takes of Flossie and Freddie burping bowls. Please, Pretty Please, I have looked everywhere and it seems that movie has been shelved. If you can find this movie, please, please, let me know.. Hopefully it has not reached it’s expiration date, as it was originally filmed on Nitrate. And God only know’s what that can do to your browser!!!

I couldn't figure out how to watch these but then I'm very late to the Game, the 10 Commandments is one of my favorite films, it has one of the best portrayals of Ancient Egypt and is one of the only ones that make it "look right."

Go to the big blue "Movie" link at the top of this page. Or just go to the Media Center under the Community section and you'll see the thread there.

Thanks! I really enjoyed (well maybe that's the wrong word) Ready or Not. Had not seen it before. Interesting take on the rich. Played well too.

oops, went hog wild and downloaded 16 of my 32 GB Verizon monthly quota. Bad 1911 User :lkick: I hope the links stay up for the next 2 or 3 months.

The only problem I ever had is Escape from New York turned into a document file as did Planet of the Apes. I just downloaded the first Planer of the Apes, with the classic line, "Get your paws off me you damn dirty ape." God, what a line by Heston. :D I remember watching it in a movie theater age 14. memories, oh memories. I am also gonna download the Omega Man and to hell with the quotas. :eleph:

Final bump. Archive.org appears to be available again.
That is nice to hear. If you would continue as you can it will be much appreciated. I download the movies. It is much easier than youtube. I keep them on my laptop as I travel for work and do not have internet (that I would trust) while on the road. When time allows I watch your movies and any not watched get moved to an external hard drive and saved for when SHTF. So, I am grateful now and I will be grateful when the SHTF.

Same here. My connection is often iffy, so I download while I'm sleeping and then I have them at my convenience.

I've found WinX to be an excellent and free Youtube downloader for all purposes.
