There are 7 movies this week.
I recommend watching or saving these sooner rather than later.
Except for Fargo, all of the movies this week are smaller, less than 1 GB in size.

This thread on MAIN has the info about the movies and is the place for discussion about them, as before.
However, all of the movie and download links are located in a separate,
members-only, thread in the MEDIA CENTER at this link:

----------->>> Link to the thread containing the actual movie links <<<-----------

This should help protect the source of the movies and keep them available longer.

If you watch or download a movie, please comment or like to guide future selections.
Click the "movies" tag at top to see a list of previous movie threads.

Movie trailers (from youtube) can be found in post #9 of this thread.
Click the "movies" tag at the top of this thread to see a list of all movies posted in the past.

Enjoy the Show!

The first movie is Falling Down. This 1993 action drama stars Michael Douglas, Robert Duvall, Barbara Hershey, and Sandra Ticotin.

- An ordinary man frustrated with the various flaws he sees in society begins to psychotically and violently lash out against them.

It is a sweltering summer day in Los Angeles and a man (known only by his car registration: D-Fens) is stuck in his car in an early-morning traffic jam. It is his daughter's birthday and his only aim is to see her on her special day. Abandoning his car in the traffic he sets out to get to the house of his ex-wife to see his daughter. Along the way he meets all manner of obstacles, causing his pent-up frustration at the hindrances and absurdities of life and cynicism and criminality of average people to boil over. What follows is a peaceful man's violent odyssey, an odyssey to see his daughter.

I loved Falling down 1911 User. It had one of the greatest lines by Robert Duvall at the end, no spoilers, which was amazing. I will give you a peak. It relates to fish in the ocean. :jstr:

Just finished Kong. That was totally fun. Sorry about the hundred thousand incidental casualties, but hey, them's the breaks.

I loved the scene from “Falling Down” inside the burger joint.

I’ve never been a huge Michael Douglas fan, but he did well in that one!

This is one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. I remember just grabbing it on a whim one day and it was quite a pleasant surprise.

If you like Bill Murray or Owen Wilson at all, they pair up magnificently in this.
