The first movie is Nobody. This 2021 action film stars Bob Odenkirk, Connie Nelson, Christopher Lloyd, and Michael Ironside. This is a very dark comedy hidden inside an action film. If you normally like action films, watch this one. If it seems a bit slow at times, don't stop until you understand the definition of an auditor, then you'll only be concerned with what comes next. I posted the movie trailer but recommend you don't watch it unless you are really, really uncertain about the movie. It gives away far too much.

The second movie is My Spy. This 2020 action comedy stars Dave Bautista, Chloe Coleman, and Kristen Schaal.

A hardened CIA operative finds himself at the mercy of a precocious 9-year-old girl, having been sent undercover to surveil her family.

The third movie is Thirteen Days. This 2000 historical thriller stars Kevin Costner, Bruce Greenwood, and Shawn Driscoll.

- In October 1962, the Kennedy administration struggles to contain the Cuban Missile Crisis.

In October, 1962, U-2 surveillance photos reveal that the Soviet Union is in the process of placing nuclear weapons in Cuba. These weapons have the capability of wiping out most of the Eastern and Southern United States in minutes if they become operational. President John F. Kennedy and his advisors must come up with a plan of action against the Soviets. Kennedy is determined to show that he is strong enough to stand up to the threat, and the Pentagon advises U.S. military strikes against Cuba--which could lead the way to another U.S. invasion of the island. However, Kennedy is reluctant to follow through, because a U.S. invasion could cause the Soviets to retaliate in Europe. A nuclear showdown appears to be almost inevitable.

The fourth movie is Forrest Gump. This 1994 drama stars Tom Hanks, Robin Wright, Gary Sinise, and Sally Field.

Forrest Gump is a simple man with a low I.Q. but good intentions. He is running through childhood with his best and only friend Jenny. His 'mama' teaches him the ways of life and leaves him to choose his destiny. Forrest joins the army for service in Vietnam, finding new friends called Dan and Bubba, he wins medals, creates a famous shrimp fishing fleet, inspires people to jog, starts a ping-pong craze, creates the smiley, writes bumper stickers and songs, donates to people and meets the president several times. However, this is all irrelevant to Forrest who can only think of his childhood sweetheart Jenny Curran, who has messed up her life. Although in the end all he wants to prove is that anyone can love anyone.

The fifth movie is Raiders of the Lost Ark. This 1981 adventure stars Harrison Ford, Karen Allen, and Paul Freeman.

Renowned archeologist and expert in the occult, Dr. Indiana Jones, is hired by the U.S. Government to find the Ark of the Covenant, which is believed to still hold the ten commandments. Unfortunately, agents of Hitler are also after the Ark. Indy, and his ex-flame Marion, escape from various close scrapes in a quest that takes them from Nepal to Cairo.

The sixth movie is Stir Crazy. This 1980 comedy stars Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor.

When Skip & Harry decided they've had enough of New York, they head to the blue sky and sun of California. After taking a job as promoters in a bank, they are falsely accused of bank robbery and are sent to a tough jail. There they form unlikely friendships and find themselves in the prison rodeo.

The seventh movie is The Dead Zone. This 1983 sci-fi drama stars Christopher Walken, Brooke Adams, and Tom Skerritt. This film is based on the Steven King novel. I'll probably watch it again this weekend.

Johnny Smith wakes from a coma due to a car accident, only to find he has lost five years of his life, and yet gained psychic powers. Foreseeing the future appears to be a 'gift' at first, but ends up causing problems.
