Workshops in sustainable living skills

THE Bega Eco-Neighbourhood Developers will hold sustainable living workshops for the Bega Valley community.
The workshops are made possible with a grant with the Mumbulla Foundation and in partnership with the Far South Coast Community College.
The March workshop will be on backyard food gardens with John Champagne and will he held on Saturday, March 25, from 10am to 4pm.
The second workshop addresses composting toilets that council will approve with Kym Mogridge (Saturday, April 29).
Kym will also take the third workshop on home grey water systems' on Saturday, May 27.
The cost is $20 per workshop and $15 for all concessions, under 18s and BEND members.

Other workshops planned for 2006 include home economy, solar passive design and retrofit, consensus decision-making, and composting and worm farming.
