FDNY says 3400 people were evacuated from Liberty Island. They initially thought the propane tanks were inside the Statue of Liberty, they weren’t, they were next to it on the outside. Not all three caught fire. They were each 100lb. Five FDNY boats were part of the response. – at Liberty State Park Ferry
