RACE WAR St. Louis Couple Introduces their guns to BLM

Well, under the circumstances, I do not blame the couple. I would only disagree with their equipment ( wifes little pistol, no spare mags) ( husbands lack of spare mags ). Like some, I have to question where were the police ?? Since none, homeowners have every right to defend themselves & their property !!

I would bet that as this plague of " peaceful protestors / thugs / bullies " spreads around the country, you will see more homeowners doing exactly the same !!! This couple are obviously white collar / professional types. Sooner or later, the looters will confront some that are of Irish / Scotch ancestry that will not be as " nice " as this couple.

I must say I am rather surprised that some have made comments that seem to take sides with the " peaceful protestors " and against the couple defending their property !!! YMMV

the pic in post 4.. it looks to me to be microphone with the cam rite beside it

but if cops can feel threatened for a cell phone in the hand

so can she for seeing an unidentifiable item pointed AT her
By looking at her face she felt threatened by that man for some reason, because she’s looking straight at him pointing her gun. The husband is clearly watching her, ready to defend her. So much to distinguish from one second captured on film!

Here's my problem with this story:

The husband only had ONE MAG. The wife only had what looks like a .380 pistol with no extra mags.

ELOI.

Had that been me, I'd have had a chest pouch with 8 extra mags, and my wife would have been armed the same as me. That'd be 540 rds.

"Come and take it" indeed.
That was my first thought also. I mean, sure, I applaud them, do doubt, but especially in a crap hole city like St. Louis, have a mag-bag or vest...full load out. Same with the wife, although I’d likely have the wife up high on Overwatch!

I’m not sure about MO, but even if everything they did was legal, it’s not going to matter one bit. This will be twisted and fabricated to make the BLM protestors look like victim saints.
Those that would believe it, don't need to be swayed. Those who wouldn't believe it/wouldn't care, won't be swayed. BLM is losing the initiative as far as sane people are concerned. Sane people are choosing life and health over leftist liberal BS.

Why stop there? :D

Is this the same "same" nutcase from the Y2K days that posted as "gunkid"?

… he was on many of old BB's and Forums and he preached 22's were the best choice and pitched his "Armored Assault Wheelbarrow"

At the time I was young and fit and used to laugh my arse off at him...

... but now that I am to old and with heath issues I might have to get something like this

Guess I need to start looking for volunteers to push!!!!

Don't know about Saint Louis, but in many of the blue states just pointing the gun in the open can get you arrested under "Brandishing" charges...

I do believe it is indeed. :D Still makes a fine story.

Oh, and you really don't need volunteers when you do it right.

LOL

I live in the boonies and unless that poor thing has some serious horse power hidden away, 4 wheel drive and knobby tires, I wouldn't get very far...

… which to think of it might not be a bad thing either lol

At best I'm the "Old Man" in an old Doom Story I read years ago....

... while the young men went off to war, he went to a bridge on the road they went down, climb a tree and waited with his old hunting rifle smoking his pipe. When the young men were retreating back across the bridge he gave covering fire by sniping until they all crossed and he was to old and to tired to get down from the tree. He stayed there delaying the enemy until the finally killed him.

Dumb asses...I'd be surprised if either has fired or actually knows how to use those firearms. The dude was 100% rambo-ing his AR...looks like she had a stainless PPK...those are horrible with recoil and are known to bite pretty bad (at least mine did).

They also don't have any shoes on...I've had enough hot brass go down my back to know that I surely don't want to step on a recently fired casing...

I can see everyone else in that gated community will have a few firearms by the end of the week.
You aren't finding much and you can't find ammo either. It's out of stock everywhere. God help the newbies that already don't have protection.

Man, I love my S&W M&P Shield, in 9mm. It's just a solid pistol and I shoot very well with it. Same with Glock 19. Just great carry pieces.

The way I have read the description of the situation, the protestors broke down a gate and were marching in a private neighborhood, on a private road...

Where were the police and why weren't they moved along out of the neighborhood?

Not being from Missouri, I don't know the laws. In Texas, I believe the lady could be charged with "brandishing", which is not legal.

So what? The threat was stopped no matter their level or lack of training.

The threat was stopped no matter their level or lack of training.

This time, anyway... Sometimes you run across people on the other side who know what they are about.

Yeah - BUT. And here's the but:

Two rich, white people dared to stand up to the terrorists. That MUST BE PUNISHED. I predict that within a week, another BLM/Antifa group WILL storm the house. And this time, they'll be armed and ready. AND they'll firebomb the house.

You heard it here first.

The woman cracked me up with her gun. I think she needs a couple gun safety courses, but loved the way they stood their ground !
Good for them. Gun handling ..... not so good.....

But I like the comment as they broke into the community, any actions taken against the BLM should be considered assualt.

They broke in......

This world has gone nuts.

Yeah. You can't go waving a gun around and pointing at people who are not attacking you, not stealing your property, and not even ON your property
That was true last month. During this transition phase, that may still be true, but next month it may become the norm unless law and order is restored by 1800 hrs today. The big tell is that these folks have not been arrested for aggravated assault yet. Last month, they would have been in jail within minutes after this occurrence.

My normalcy bias is having a hard time keeping up with the ever changing landscape.

... and I used to be concerned about 00 buck patterning and getting the occasional flyers and potential to hit innocent bystanders. Now, not so much... the wider the horizontal spread the better.

This couple's actions were recorded and disseminated in an effort to shame and marginalize them.

I think the opposite will happen.

It will open the eyes of some fence sitters and ostriches.

Expect a flood of positive memes.

Look at the second picture in post #4. It looks like the black guy on the right is holding a weapon and pointing it up towards the couple. Anyone else see this?
saw that - the owner is up above on a porch with his AR-15 >>> sure looks like a rifle barrel end to me - !!!!!!

Should start a new movement. Call it, "We Will." Meaning, if the courts, cops and politicians won't do their jobs and keep society civil, WE WILL! And by any means necessary.
I will repeat what I said here a few days back . . .

there is a retired trooper here in our MAG - about 7 yrs younger than I. it was HE who pointed out what I realized is a fundamental truth . . .

"when those charged by their occupation or position with the duty and responsibility to uphold law and order, preserve the peace and prevent destruction of private property (via maintaining the rule of law) FAIL to do so - either because they REFUSE to do so or are PROHIBITED from doing so - eventually the private citizen will step into the gap OUT OF NECESSITY."

question I'd be asking of the gated community governing body - Where's the security???

a single car parked up against that fence gate - with a uniformed VISIBLY armed guard would have resolved the whole thing before it got started ...

Could be a camera ... Or recording device , mic boom? That video though ... At the very end had a black that looked like he had a weapon and was pointing it .... On the left though.

Edit : after further review at the end of the video the black guy moves from center to the left, it's a video camera with a boom mic. Same thing as in the pic in Dennis's post.
