What I can't figure out... we've seen pictures of him.
So, why did they say explicitly that no mugshots would be released?
Things that make you go "hmmm"...

My guess is he has a black eye or something that would question the official narrative. Maybe not even Depape being held?

I think nobody will be shocked when we hear about his tragic suicide.....

So she was in San Fran the day before and her recall sounds pretty rehearsed & fishy:

I posted an earlier version of this in the big Alt thread and have since refined it a bit.
My Take On What Went Down In Frisco:

Nancy is in town for her routine Botox Treatment and Young Blood Transfusions and decides to visit her home.

Her limo pulls up to the curb of her home and she asked the driver to pull a bit forward to avoid stepping in human waste left on the sidewalk.

Her security detail contacts the team on the ground with the code word: “The Vulture Has Landed”

She goes rushing through the entry door and ask the security guy there.. Where The Hell Is He? In the bedroom Mmam! Is He Alone? No Mam he has the homeless, nudist guy in there!

She grabs a hammer near a remodel project in the living room and proceeds to the bedroom..

The security guards hear both men crying out for help and upon entering the room find Mr Pelosi knocked unconscious, bleeding from a head wound and the other man bleeding from his arm suffering from apparent defensive wounds.

Nancy orders them to clean up this damn mess as she storms out on her way back to DC. In her haste to get comfortably back into the limo, she forgets about the pile of human waste that she avoided earlier.
She absolutely loses it as her security detail is rushing to wipe the homeless feces from her sparkling white, designer shoes.

As the limo departs a five thousand dollar pair of Jimmy Choo, (poo) shoes are left abandoned on the curb.
You do Choo shoe poo woo.

I think the problem NBC has is that Miguel Almaguer spoke of 30 minutes of the assailant and Pelosi alone in the house before police arrived. I'm not quoting on purpose. It's in the video that got pulled but is still here on the board. Maybe Almaguer is about to get cancelled? This is great theatre just before an election!
I may have been correct that Almaguer's reporting didn't fit the Dem's narrative, so they just suspended him 2 weeks after his report. I had been thinking that maybe he would be the anchorman for NBC sometime in the future-Maybe not anymore.

REPORT: Paul Pelosi Seen Opening Door for Police on Body Cam Video as Originally Reported

Stephen Green

Paul Pelosi, husband of outgoing House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, was indeed seen peacefully opening the door to his home for police on the night he was severely beaten by an intruder last month.

The Biden Department of Justice denied early reports that Pelosi didn’t “declare an emergency” to police, and NBC reporter Miguel Almaguer was suspended on Tuesday for including that detail in his original report, since retracted.
And yet NBC Bay Area reporter Bigad Shaban claimed Wednesday that police body cam footage supports Almaguer’s initial story, “according to a source familiar with the Pelosi investigation who personally viewed the body camera footage.”

If true, Pelosi at least appeared to be in no imminent danger when police arrived, and national NBC News may have had no reason to scrub Almaguer’s story.

To its credit, local affiliate NBC Bay Area stood by Bigad Shaban’s report, according to Fox News:
NBC News national correspondent Miguel Almaguer reported on Nov. 4 for “Today” that police didn’t know they were responding to the Pelosi residence, Pelosi opened the door for police but didn’t attempt to escape or declare an emergency, and even walked away from law enforcement and toward his eventual attacker.
Almaguer’s report was erased from all NBC News platforms later in the day. It was scrubbed from social media, and NBC News issued an editor’s note on its website, reading, “This piece has been removed from publication because it did not meet NBC News reporting standards.”
However, a local NBC reporter’s similar story was not retracted and remained online as of Wednesday morning.

The story is still up (link above) as filed last week and updated with the body cam angle on Wednesday.
So why would NBC News scrub an awkward story about the husband of a House Speaker representing an embattled majority in the weeks before a midterm election to determine control of the House?

To ask the question is to answer it.
There are two more questions, however.
The first is whether NBC News will rescind and apologize for Almaguer’s unjustified suspension. The second is whether NBC News will un-scrub Almaguer’s original report, which now seems to have been factually correct — if politically inconvenient.

Yep - accidently reported the truth. Bad move at NBC.

C'mon, man! Aren't you up on your Journalism Ethics 101? I'm sure it's in the AP Style Book somewhere. It goes like this:

"You may not report anything - irrespective of how factual it may be - that embarrasses a Democrat in even the slightest degree."

I guess Almaguer never got around to reading that part.

Outgoing Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) received a standing ovation Thursday after paying tribute to her husband, Paul, who is recovering from a brutal hammer attack that took place last month.

"For my dear husband Paul, who has been my beloved partner in life and pillar of support, thank you. We are all grateful for all the prayers and well wishes as he continues his recovery. Thank you so much," Pelosi said, prompting an extended and uproarious applause.

Of their children and grandchildren, she said, "They are the joys of our lives. We are so very, very proud of them and a comfort to us at this time."

Following the attack, Paul, 82, required surgery to reshape his skull, according to his wife.

“What they have to do is they have to take off the skull, reshape it, and put it back so it isn’t scratched or [could] pierce the brain," she explained. "So, it’s a pretty serious operation."

During the Thursday floor speech, Pelosi announced that she would not seek reelection to leadership, marking an end to her nearly two-decade stint in House leadership.

"I will continue to speak for the people of San Francisco. I will not seek reelection to Democratic leadership in the next Congress," she said.

Senior GOP House leadership largely snubbed her speech, with only House Minority Whip Steve Scalise (R-LA) attending.

The Washington Examiner's Juliegrace Brufke reported that few Republican representatives attended, pointing out Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy's (R-CA) absence.

A handful of incoming GOP freshman and just a few Republican lawmakers are currently in the chamber ahead of Pelosi’s speech.

Reading through the above four entries perhaps the event better described as "House Democrats break into standing ovation." Steve Scalise seemed to have been the only Republican present. And we don't know if he applauded.

"Junior Members?" This could mean the various aides and secretaries.

Sorry. I'm looking for some unification among the party here. Repubs SHOULD meet separately to get their act together before attending a full house or vote on ANYTHING. (including approval of "Husband Paul.")
