My first thought was, oh look, a convenient "Republicans are violently attacking Democrats" story just in time for Nov. 8. Why, Trump himself squeezed through the window and then beat him senseless!
Then, I remembered where they live. Could have just as easily been a lawless, drug-addled Democrat voter in search of a quick ice cream fix...

He could have just brought some hooker home and being drunk fell down the stairs. Hooker called for medical help and stuck around until they came. Was then arrested as an alibi for dear hubby. Democrat House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s daughter appeared to praise a violent attack on Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) on Sunday after Paul announced that he had contracted the coronavirus, which originated in China.
Pelosi’s daughter, Christine Pelosi, wrote on Twitter in response to Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT) announcing that he was going into quarantine: “Rand Paul’s neighbor was right.”
Romney’s announcement that he was going into quarantine followed Paul announcing on Sunday that he had tested positive for the coronavirus.
Christine Pelosi was responding to a tweet from Washington Post reporter Paul Kane, who wrote in response to Romney’s announcement, “He told us the other day his biggest personal concern was not getting this because his wife has MS. Now he can’t see her for almost 2 weeks.”
Romney’s statement said:
Paul was violently attacked by his Democrat neighbor in November 2017 at his home in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
Paul announced on Monday that he was tested for the coronavirus because of recent traveling that he had gone on with his wife and his weekly flights that are a part of his job.
“Given that my wife and I had traveled extensively during the weeks prior to COVID-19 social distancing practices, and that I am at a higher risk for serious complications from the virus due to having part of my lung removed seven months ago, I took a COVID-19 test when I arrived in D.C. last Monday,” Paul said in a statement. “I believe we need more testing immediately, even among those without symptoms. The nature of COVID-19 put me – and us all – in a Catch-22 situation. I didn’t fit the criteria for testing or quarantine. I had no symptoms and no specific encounter with a COVID-19 positive person. I had, however, traveled extensively in the U.S. and was required to continue doing so to vote in the Senate. That, together with the fact that I have a compromised lung, led me to seek testing. Despite my positive test result, I remain asymptomatic for COVID-19.

Fox News contributor Mollie Hemingway tweeted: “Democrat leader’s daughter encouraging violent attacks on Republican senators. Truly awful.”
Political commentator Stephen Miller tweeted: “Are we not doing that dangerous rhetoric thing anymore? Journalists passed around some kook thing Paul’s dad wrote yesterday. Here’s the daughter of the Speaker of the House endorsing assault on Rand Paul.”
Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee tweeted: “Will @Twitter and @Jack find it ok to approve of a cowardly blindside felony attack by a crazed liberal neighbor? The world watches and waits to see if these “kind and tolerant” comments will be consequenced.”
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) tweeted: “This is sick & twisted. That or maybe even a family member. Remember, Pelosi killed his own brother years ago while driving impaired. This recent incident could have kicked off some buried problems for someone. And yeah, it sounds like a movie of the week but you never know.
AP clearly said earlier that it's "sources" said a full recovery was expected.
