Here are some interesting points to ponder:

According to the Pew Research Center:

On January 1, 2011 the run of the Baby Boomers collecting SS began. Each and every day for every day for the next 19 years, 10,000 baby boomers will reach age 65. "The aging of this huge cohort of Americans (26% of the total U.S. population are Baby Boomers) will dramatically change the composition of the country."

According to the Social Security Administration: in 1950 there were 16.5 workers for each Social Security recipient. In 2011, the ratio is 2.9 workers for each recipient.

This year, about 157 million U.S. workers support some 55 million Social Security recipients, according to the SSA’s data. In 1950, 48 million workers supported 2 million recipients.

According to Wikipedia: The English words peon and peonage were derived from the Spanish word, and have a variety of meanings related to the Spanish usages, as well as some other meanings.

In the English-speaking world in general, the term peon is used colloquially to mean a person with little authority, often assigned unskilled or drudgerous tasks; an underling. In this sense, peon can be used in either a derogatory or self-effacing context.

There are several ways in which the word is used:
American English: in a historical and legal sense, peon generally only had the meaning of someone working in an unfree labor system (known as peonage). The word often implied debt bondage and/or indentured servitude.

According to the 13th Amendment of the United States of America:

The 13th Amendment to the Constitution declared that "Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction."

Make of it what you will...

The people who are Boomer-aged now? We also were/are peons. The new younger generation is not alone in this, you know.

We all had money taken out of our checks every single week too, and not just for SS. Federal, State, and in some cases local taxes, are also taken without permission. Please don't blame us old folks. We just lived too long for you younger guys, I guess. I'm sure the way things are going we will all be shipped off to the Alpo Factory. *They* don't care. They've got their Lear jets and suitcases full of gold to run away with as everything falls apart. They won't hang around the scene of the crime one second longer than they need to. This is the nature of money and greed.

I make of this . . . those who only see that now THEY are in the hot seat THEY will have to find someone to blame. Blame grandma and grandpa, they're old. They also were made to pay and pay and pay to provide:
Medicaid - AFDC - Food Stamps - Supplemental Security Income - Lower income housing asst. - Earned Income Tax Credit - Stafford loans - Pell Grants - Low-rent public housing - General medical assistance - Foster Care - School Lunch - Pensions for needy veterans- General Assistance - Head Start - Food supplements - Women, infants and children - Training for disadvantaged youth and adults - Low-income energy assistance - Rural housing loans - Summer youth employment -Maternal and child health - JOBS and WIN - Job Corps - Child care block grant - School Breakfast - Child care for AFDC - Child and adult care food program- "At risk" child care . . .
Realize that this list goes on and on and on - the "elderly" have been sucked dry by the "youth" who are now attempting to earn a living wage and see that they are paying to keep "old people" alive - well, we've done a terrific job haven't we - raised a whole generation of thankless and stoopid idiots who exemplify the me, me, me, me, me mindset - because we've worked ourselves into our "golden" years to provide for generations of fatherless citizens who continue to eat us alive.
You're welcome - which way to the "showers"?

Thank you very much. You said it better than I could...and these are the ones now screaming for us to just die so they don't have to work to take care of us altho we worked to bring them into the world, feed them and raise them.
Makes you rethink a lot of things you thought you were doing for the good of the common man now, doesn't it?

We have been the "peons" for all our lives. Now that the young are older that gripe because they "might" have to help their parents and those who nurtured them?
Guess those gov run schools did a great job educating them, haven't they?

They have those nice deep bunkers are set up for themselves. They better hope for mass extinction level type stuff topside cause they will be gunned down when they peek their heads out of their holes in the ground. It won't be pretty.

Lot's will die. That's for sure, but not everyone and if these rich, greedy banksters and elite think they are going to get a nice clean earth minus all the peons, they need to think again. There "will" be survivors and they won't be happy.

Yes, I know about the underground CITIES. The problem is they won't peek their heads out because they will venture out with tanks and every conceivable weapon at their disposal. They will possibly have *alien* help too, as the aliens are said to have bases underground and work with our .mil out west.

Many WILL leave the US who could have gone underground. They will go with their ill-gotten gains to other countries they figure won't be involved in this end of the world stuff. They will figure their money and gold (say, who ended up with the trillions under the towers anyway?) will buy them better sanctuary than living underground for years. Reportedly, Bush has bought a vast estate in Paraguay over an aquifer (where'd he get the money for that?) By the time this is over, the people above ground will virtually be wiped out (see Bible) and probably out of weapons and ammo.

I think we better reside in the Lord, because if IT happens that's really the only safe place. We won't be around to fight THEM.

I'd prefer we take care of it all now, but it's hard to convince people that we CAN do it.

Its simply the end of the Ponzi scheme. Everyone that I know who is near my age(48) realizes that SS just isnt going to be there when we reach that age.

All good preppers should certainly plan on a future w/o Social Security.

I was lucky enough at the age of 18 to have a first boss who told me that there wouldnt be SS when I was ready to retire and to plan accordingly. She sat with me to help me plan too. And we worked in the Benefits department in the pension group.

I thank God for her every day. I was able to start planning from my first "grown up" paycheck for my retirement and for a day when SSN would not be there for me.

Our political problem now is “Can we, as a nation, continue together permanently—forever—half slave, and half free?” Abraham Lincoln, 1855

We will have a 2 tier society in just a couple years - half entitled, the half the slaves sentenced to work until death because they are the feeding trough for the other half.

Mission Accomplished.

A Slaveholding economy or a Socialist economy cannot co-exist for long with a free system
Can America Continue as a Nation, Half-Slave and Half-Free?

by: Daniel Greenfiel

When Lincoln first asked this question, America was slowly coming to grips with the knowledge that as a nation it could not continue to exist, half-slave and half free. This was not only because slavery was immoral or unconstitutional… but on a purely practical level, slave states and free states had significantly different and incompatible interests.

Three years later in 1858, Lincoln slightly reformulated this question with a view of what the end result in America must be, during his House Divided speech.

“A house divided against itself cannot stand.” I believe this government cannot endure, permanently, half slave and half free. I do not expect the Union to be dissolved — I do not expect the house to fall — but I do expect it will cease to be divided. It will become all one thing or all the other. “

The idea Lincoln put forward here, was similar to the ideas that Eisenhower, Kennedy, Nixon and Reagan would put forward during the Cold War. That states of free men and slaves could not co-exist for long. Sooner or later either the free men will become slaves, or the slaves will become free.

In the Communist era that meant that either free countries would become Communist, or Communist countries would become free. So too with Islam, the same balance exists. Either free nations will become Muslim, or Muslim nations will become free. We can see the consequences of that playing out now in Europe, where nations of free men are becoming slaves. In reverse we see the possibility in Iraq of slaves becoming free men.

Lincoln however was not speaking globally but locally—and it is the local that concerns us now.

Today 150 years later America is once again half-slave and half-free. Slavery no longer means cotton plantations and slave markets. Instead slavery today exists in a more insidious form of bureaucracies and social service agencies. Pages after pages of regulations and forms to fill out. Advisory committees that become authorities and taxation that quickly mutates into confiscation.

The bottom line though is very clear. Slavery represents a fairly simple social contract that says, “Give me your freedom and I will see that you’re taken care of.” The simplest way to describe modern slavery in the United States today is with another “S” word. Socialism.

Socialism is modern slavery. It is slavery disguised by high minded ideals, but so was the original slavery. American Liberals, like the Slaveholders of the Pre-Civil War era, presume that minorities are unfit to take care of themselves without someone to take care of them and tell them what to do and how to live. That of course is why socialism’s thrust is so focused on minorities in the first place. But it isn’t limited to minorities.

Like Slavery, Socialism deprives people of the benefits of their labor… under the argument that they aren’t wise or competent enough to use it to their own benefit, or to look after themselves. Socialism also creates a class of Masters, to oversee the general populace, look after their needs and tell them what to do.

Those deprived of their labor through taxation are helping to underfund the Socialist Masters, to create their jobs, maintain their power and expand their organizations. And since slaveholding systems have no real room for anyone who isn’t a Master or a Slave, anyone trying to remain independent, particularly small businessmen will be squeezed out, until they’re in one category or the other.

Like Slavery, Socialism needs to expand into free states. Like a Ponzi Scheme, Socialism constantly needs new territories and people in order to fund its own operations, which are always taking place at a loss.

The following quote nicely sums up the state of affairs;

>”...At the present rate, as I see it, by the year 2000 everybody is either going to be on welfare or administering it. I see no middle ground at all. Just consider the statistics.”

Unit Supervisor, NYC Department of Welfare, 1964

In its own way this quote is every bit as powerful as Lincoln’s. A statement of manifest destiny for social services to expand from ocean to ocean, to include everybody in the system. Just as Slaveholding systems devalue free labor, forcing everyone into the Master or Slave category…. Socialism also devalues free labor, forcing everyone to either work in the government, or work for the government.

Lincoln’s response to this expansionism was to point out that if it went on, America would no longer be half-slave and half-free. It would be either all free as the result of abolishing slavery—or it would be all slave because slavery had spread to every state in the union.

We are facing the same situation today. To reformulate Lincoln’s words, “American cannot continue as a nation, half-socialist and half-free. Either one will fall or the other. Either all the states and every state and city, town and village will become socialist. Or all will become free.”
Socialism, the modern day slavery

A Slaveholding economy or a Socialist economy cannot co-exist for long with a free system. They must naturally consume and expand to survive. And Socialism, the modern day slavery, is quickly expanding across America. And we cannot long survive as a mix of free states and slave states.

Obama’s election is a decisive wake up call in that regard. A statement that America is to be a slave nation, its population taxed into poverty, its corporations turned into corrupt government fiefdoms, its freedoms tightly regulated and curtailed. The contest for the future depends on making clear the choice between Freedom and Slavery, between Individualism and Socialism. The fate of America and the future depends on it.

We can either have a nation of free men, or a slaveholding nanny state. We cannot have both. The time when we could choose is quickly passing, and the chains and collars are nearing our throats.

An America of slaves may carry the name America, but it will no longer be the same nation. Instead it will be American In Name Only. A country where the Constitution is nothing more than a piece of paper, where history is bunk, rights are imaginary and everyone is constantly arguing over which of them is more mistreated. And worst of all, we’re nearly there now.

The media’s propaganda barrage is meant to get the populace happy about being slaves. Slavery with a smile, or Socialism with a Human Face, as was the old Soviet slogan. And it will be slavery indeed, whether it’s Slavery in the name of the environment, Slavery in the name of social justice, Slavery in the name of the Unions, Slavery in the name of the Bureaucracy. It doesn’t really matter because slavery by any name is still slavery.

That is our political problem. That is the great question of our time. Strip away all the details, the personalities and the vanities—and this overriding question remains. It is one that the Democratic party has worked hard to make sure no one asks or even hears, because the chains they put on us are not meant to look like chains.

In 2010 and 2012, the battle will be joined and the ultimate question must be this one, “Are we to be a nation of slaves governed by masters, or a nation of free men and women? Are we a nation of slaves or free citizens? Do we need to be taken care of, told what to do all the time, deprived of the rightful benefits of our work and our freedoms—or are we best suited to care for ourselves and our families, employ our money and our Constitutional rights as we see fit ?”

That is what it will all come down to. If we can communicate that question to enough people, set it as the agenda for the party and the core slogan that defines our values—we can win. And set America on a path to being a free nation again. If we lose, the chains of slavery are already forged and waiting for us.

Retirement Lost
Social Security Bankrupt by 2036, Medicare by 2024

The really bad news: Your promised benefits are in jeopardy, thanks to corrupt Washington politicians. Today it was announced that the two government programs will run out of funds sooner than previously thought as a result of the poor economy.

This does not come as a surprise to anyone paying attention, but will certainly impact future retirees who will get screwed when they try to collect their benefits.

I am not going to repeat how much I despise Social Security and Medicare and how they are both illegal under the Constitution. These are communist programs designed to enslave the middle class and rob them of their wealth by preventing people from saving and investing their own money.

But I wanted to clear a few misconceptions regarding Social Security:

1. Social Security is NOT a benefit; it is a tax--That right, just ask the IRS. and they will tell you that Social Security is indeed a tax. Furthermore, the courts have declared the only way Social Security can be interpreted as constitutional is if it is a tax.

2. Your Social Security payments are not guaranteed-- There is no requirement that the government pay you your social security check. Congress can cancel, abridge, or alter the social security system anytime it wishes. This was summed up nicely by the courts in Flemming v. Nestor which said "entitlement to Social Security benefits is not a contractual right." Theoretically, you could pay your social security taxes all of your working life and then be denied the monthly checks. While this is unlikely, you notice that the government is always increasing the retirement age. Eventually you will only be able to retire at 85 and get 50% fewer benefits.

3. There is no Social Security Trust Fund--Contrary to what you hear from the media and politicians, no trust fund exists (it is only an accounting entry). All Social Security taxes are sent directly to the government's General Revenue Fund and is spent by Congress on anything they want to. Even if there is a surplus (more collected than paid out in benefits), Congress can spend it and write an IOU to Social Security. Congress (Republicans and Democrats) have looted the surpluses from Social Security over the last 75 years, and all that is left are useless IOUs.

4. Social Security "benefits" are taxable--One of the more hilarious aspects of Social Security is that if you work after you retire (say part-time) and earn depending on your filing status more than $25,000-32,00, your social security payments will be taxed. LOL!!! And you thought this was a generous benefit from your government. Instead, it is really a system to keep you in poverty.

5. Social Security is a Ponzi-Scheme--According to Wikipedia, "a ponzi scheme operation pays returns to separate people from their own money or money paid by subsequent people, rather than from any actual profit earned." That pretty much sums up Social Security, which pays current recipients with money from taxes collected by current workers. Social Security is a ponzi scheme that Bernard Madoff would envy. Is it all right that the government is operating the largest ponzi scheme in US history?

Now that we have discussed various misunderstandings concerning Social Security, allow me to show why it is such a bad deal for Americans and keeps them poor. First off, the rate of return on your Social Security contributions is incredibly low (estimated at 1-2% nominal return) as compared to the investments. There was a famous example of county employees in Galveston, Texas, who were fortunate enough to get out of paying social security taxes. Instead, the county set up an alternative plan and invested their monthly contributions in safe low risk investments. The results were startling and are reported in a GAO report. Assuming a worker made $50,000 and paid into Social Security, his or her monthly check was $1,302. Under the private alternative plan set up by Galveston County, that same employee received $6,843. Now which plan would you like to participate in? So you rely on Social Security-- you will be able to afford dog food (perpetual poverty), but if you have a private plan and would be able to afford fillet mignon (comfortable and dignified retirement).

Another major negative of Social Security is that when you die, you cannot leave your children any inheritance, which prevents families from building generational wealth. Social Security will only pay $255 as a one time death benefit. If you had a private plan, you could leave your children at least something, but the government can't allow this. This is especially true for groups which have a lower life expectancy (e.g. obese individuals, etc.). Why would our government deny people this opportunity? Because if the overwhelming majority of the population were financially independent, they would not be welfare slaves to the government. Instead, the Social Security system has created a generation of welfare dependents who are no longer free and independent. They no longer care about the Constitution and Bill of Rights. All they want is their monthly checks. And you wonder why America is gradually becoming a welfare police state?

So after hearing all of the above facts, you may ask why people defend Social Security and resist any change to the system? After all, they don't benefit from this system. In fact, the only entity which profits from this illegal system is the government which uses the surpluses as slush funds and keeps people in poverty. To me the answer is relatively simple: People have been so dumbed down by public education and the media that they are very susceptible to government propaganda. The public has been indoctrinated into believing that Social Security is a benefit and protects people from poverty. And as Joesph Goebbels noted, all you have to do is repeat the same propaganda over and over, and gradually people will believe it. The situation is so dire in the US that people will fight for the current Social Security system that even when it is the instrument of their own enslavement. Now that's good propaganda--convincing slaves to demand their chains!

In the end, the collapse of social security and medicare is probably for the best. It will force Americans to be self-sufficient and more prudent regarding their spending habits. Saving will once again be a virtue, while blowing all of your money on some iphone or flat screen TV will be a sin.

The Bottom Line: Don't rely solely on Social Security and other government programs to ensure your retirement. That means saving more money and spending less on Chinese slave made imports. The majority of Americans have less than $50,000 saved for retirement. What the hell are these people going to do? They are going to pressure politicans to raise your payroll taxes to finance their fragile retirement. Democracy at its best--51% of the population enslaving the other 49%. Politicians then get re-elected and proclaim that they "saved Social Security and Medicare." Wash. Rinse. Repeat. America is so doomed!

Fed passes China to become largest U.S. creditor
June 9, 2011, 4:11 PM
By Tom Bemis

The Federal Reserve has surpassed China as the single largest creditor of the U.S. government.

UniCredit’s Chief U.S. Economist Harm Bandholz is out Thursday with the details:

As a result of its asset purchase program (QE2), the Federal Reserve at the end of 1Q held about 14% of total outstanding federal debt (debt held by the public). It is, therefore, now the single-largest creditor of the US government.

According to separate data from the Treasury Department, China is ranked second. It owned in late March Treasuries worth USD 1,145bn, which is slightly less than 12% of the total amount outstanding.

After the Fed and China, the biggest holders of U.S. debt are

* the household sector
* Japan
* state and local governments
* and private pension funds.

In addition:

By the end of this month, the Fed will have boosted its Treasury holdings by another USD 250bn (annualized 1tr), and will own about 16% of all outstanding Treasuries (not to mention the 15% of GSE mortgage-backed securities)…

As QE2 ends in three weeks, the critical question remains, “who will buy them thereafter?” We think that private households and foreign investors, who have both been very cautious in recent months, will ramp up their Treasury purchases again. But they might ask for higher yields than the US central bank did.

Bond bulls beware!

What regular people are not getting is that nobody will escape. No matter how well you planned, it can be taken away in a second by one new rule or other. The agenda is well-known, and even the money people with their heads totally into it will be caught off-guard.

You do know you're preaching to the choir here. The reason(s) so many of us seek out these "blogs" is to help alert America to the Hegelian Dialectic surge that will soon overpower every free thought in the world and the NWO will be established - hopefully not without some resistance. BUT . . . when we see the blame being shifted to the "slave holding" elders for the "peonage-inverse-pyramids" because of our own victimization - it becomes more of an alarm or imperative wakeup for America - for all the postings that either defend or accuse the "system" we see it all as a lost cause. Therefore, why do we want to allow these final very few years to zip past us being accused as the locusts who have eaten YOUR future when our own lives have been sacrificed for the "greater" good. Most of realize that the new "health care" system that has been devised is clearly a way to erase the "burden" from the "new producers" - the "new producers" do not realize though, that they are headed pell-mell into a very similar "future" - we were too busy thinking that America would always be America and working to become substantial - we were digging our own graves with the daily time clock punch ins.

Gercarson,

I agree with much of your premise. Means testing would be a start, but human nature prevents truth and common sense.
Considering that 80 MILLION boomers are beginning to retire and also that 50+ MILLION are using medicare today and it is completely and utterly bankrupt.
They have to get the money from somewhere. It will allow some of the working poor the privilege of seeing a physician when they are ill, which is better than dying from a simple infection. Considering that retirees in their 70's, maybe 80's now are getting organ transplants this seems fair IMO, but I realize most Americans really don't care if a young or middle aged working wage slave dies because their employer does not offer or subsidize health insurance.
I disagree with your view of culling the aged, at least in the near term. It begins with the young and middle aged, then forward (or backwards), perhaps because of the sheer numbers and the fact that it is the young that go to war, the young that protect the women, children and elderly. Ironically it is the old men that send the young men and now women to their deaths.

One way or another.

mzkitty

I give up.
I must then ask again my usual question:

Why are we allowing them to keep and inflict this useless money system on all of us?

Someone (here?) said yesterday that if the whole thing crashes (which it will), WE IN THIS COUNTRY still have food, clothing, shelter, the means to make what we need in reality, and to take care of each other, if LEFT ALONE and not subjugated under yet another diabolic scheme.

Why are we tolerating it? WHY?

Ask yourselves.

That's where I think you are wrong. There will be no elderly left or at least a lot of them will die with no SS and no medicare.
And Obama care is nothing but a way to accomplish that. They can set standards on medical care and deny medicine and treatments to anyone they deem too old or too disabled. You WILL see death boards that decide who gets medical treatment and who does not. Only the good stock of younger people will be allowed to live. And that does not mean 40's and 50's. They may let you continue as long as you are useful but not past a certain age.

These are things us older's know as we have read and studied it for years now. They are using Hitler's playbook. And yes, men and women of military age will be continued to be used as cannon fodder in their "Endless War" on terrorism, even if there isn't a known boogey man, they will tell you there is so they can continue to milk the tax money from you to go into their pockets.
Just WHO do you think owns the companies that make the money off wars? It sure isn't us. It's the elite and the longer they run these wars, the less able bodied men and women there are and the more money they make. It's a win/win situation for them.
Talk about a ponzi scheme. It's worse than SS ever thought of being.

They don't want any of us. Maybe just enough to do their slave work and keep their gardens neat, clean their mansions, keep their farms and livestock to feed THEM....

We are in their minds like a virus that has covered "their" earth and the sooner they can get rid of that, the better. They kill us with vaccines that ultimately make our immune systems so weak we can survive the flu. They fill us with precription drugs that require more and more drugs to keep us alive but don't cause you die from the side effects, all the while making trillions of $$ of that also.

They want us dead. Any way they can. It's taken great planning for a very long time now. All the wars have been planned, who the bad guy will be and how many people they think they can eliminate in those wars. The drugs are made along the same vein of thought. How many will end up dead from them. How much money can they generate doing it.

It's ALL been a pyramid/ponzi scheme and the sooner people wake up to that the better. Unless you refuse to work for them, fight wars for them and outright rise up against them, it's all over cause they have the WHOLE world in their pockets now. Just waiting for the final blow to come to make their Utopian dream come true....

Welcome to all useless eaters, ALL OF YOU......this is the NEW WORLD ORDER........whether you like it or not........

Gercarson,

I agree with much of your premise. Means testing would be a start, but human nature prevents truth and common sense.
The new "health care law" is just a money grab designed to extract wealth from the demographics that still managed to hang onto some of their wealth. Considering that 80 MILLION boomers are beginning to retire and also that 50+ MILLION are using medicare today and it is completely and utterly bankrupt. They have to get the money from somewhere. It begins with the young and middle aged, then forward (or backwards), perhaps because of the sheer numbers and the fact that it is the young that go to war, the young that protect the women, children and elderly. Ironically it is the old men that send the young men and now women to their deaths.

One way or another.
I see that most of what you read went over your head. Wars are not fought for any reason(s) other than the NWO agenda. Culling of the aged is the first stop on the NWO agenda - the reason(s) that the young and middled aged are up for grabs is that they are the ones who are physically able to produce and therefore will be used and abused to meet that ends. Yep, the boomers will have to retire sooner or later - like that is a shock. I can see it now in the socialist's headlines "Old people retire 'unexpectantly' when they become useless as producers - the bastards don't even have the decency to die as scheduled". Don't blame the old people for the situations that have become the way of life for those who are the real parasites. Old age is not a blessing because most "old" people can see a much bigger picture than we saw when we were young and going to war to "protect the women, children and elderly" - we can see that we were the esoteric tools that you are now.

I doubt "they" will end social security, instead it will be used as the means to complete enslave everyone for perpetuity. Again it is the youth and middle aged that are being culled.
It is the complete opposite for retirees - the entitled, they enjoy very long life spans and have more wealth than any other demographic group (I'm not counting the elite, the ultra rich).
The entitled also get to relax and not work for for the last 2-4 decades of their lives -1/2 to 2/3 of the working slaves at the bottom of the ponzi pyramid will NEVER REACH the golden goose egg age. And that's OK with current entitlees because they assume they will be dead by that time. Dog eat Dog.

One just has to be fortunate enough to reach the finish line. Compare even the poorest social security recipient (often living in subsidized housing) to a family of four, with young children living in a tent ?
Who is better off ? Or the Gulf War or Recent latest non declared war veteran living on the streets in a cardboard box - who is better off or being culled ? Your talking points sound like TV, mean no offense, but I hear this every election - FOR THE PAST 40 YEARS. Yet - entitlements, especially for the aged, have increased BY TRILLIONS. So now the future humans will never be free - its their legacy, their inheritance.

Agree fellow choir member. I have been asking this question for decades.
We are managed like farm animals and it is successful mainly because of human nature, greed and FEAR. Game theory works completely, toss in some guilt and the slaves are completely and utterly CHAINED.
Certain entities, I have no idea what or who they truly are and probably do not want to, have the knowledge, skills and power-ability to manipulate the masses.
They can only do this with our agreement and if we are fractured and divided and if we are self serving and greedy.

I see more and more of this everyday on TV and all media. GOD only knows what is in our water and food, our environment (the lines in the sky) It is all a brainwashing or brain numbing distraction pysop manipulation and it works brilliantly. We are ruled by our own nightmares, fear and cowardice and will be until our reality is given back to us.

You know the answer, do I have to spell it out again? Satan and his underlings, both here and in other forms of *existence.* It's been going on for ages. They want the gold because they need our subservience and gold to survive in their realm. We cannot be GIVEN back our freedom and reality and truth. We have to TAKE THEM BACK. What is so hard to understand? Fear lets them win. I say WE will win. The power of positive thinking and action. God doesn't want it to end in Armageddon. He wants us to share in his kingdom, here and in heaven. But we have to TAKE IT for ourselves and make sure their corruption can't exist anymore by changing the systems away from their control mechanisms -- gold and money.

The truth is simple; they've programmed most people to believe the Satanic lies.

And there in lies the problem. It will NEVER be given back to us. EVER. They manipulate the tv programs, the mainstream media and I heard this morning that even the HDTV that gets piped into your home is used to depress you and make you feel helpless. (doctor on The Power Hour) and they have had the technology to do it for 50 years now.
The fluoride in the public water systems to keep you compliant. The Mind altering drugs to keep you calm if you get too upset. (can't have people rebelling now, can they or at least not till they feel ready to knock it down and kill off a bunch of people in the CONUS) (Bomb Shelter thread is appropriate reading concerning this)

Innyman, they will cut the SS off. Those Vietnam veterans scare the bejeebers out of them cause they KNOW they will fight even if they have to do it from their wheelchairs. They have to either starve them or kill them outright thru drugs or death panels. I truly believe they have held off this long from their "Final Solution" just to make sure most of those vets were either dead or too old. But I have news for them. Those guys are still around and they are PO'd.....and, they can teach the younger's a lot of tricks. They don't even have to go into the fray. Just be the teachers.

It's going to get messy, and soon. You can feel it breathing down your neck. And anyone who thinks it's not on our doorstep, is badly mistaken.....

I have responded with anger mostly because we the older folks have been used just as badly as you who are still working have. The only reason some are better off is that they had opportunity to get a bit ahead of the game but those people are in the same boat. If you don't think they won't steal your land, your possessions AND your children you are sadly mistaken. They indoctrinate those same children in the gov run institutions they call schools. They brainwash those young people so that when they are told to do as bidded they will. And the ones who show some spunk? They say they have ADD or something and give them drugs to quiet them into docile children.

AND that's why I am so mad. It's an anger that grows daily in the hearts of those who really are awake and watching. Those of us that are not on drugs and listen not to the mainstream but to alternative sources of news. The stuff that is not spun daily to fit the agenda.

I just hope it bites the elite firmly in their blue blooded behinds!

Wise Owl,

We can disagree on the "game plan" - but I think we agree on the goal.
In the near term the status quo will be maintained - the final solution will be massive, all encompassing, immediate.

I think the anger, and I used to rage, is part of the manipulation. A psychological outlet...that is beginning to loose its effectiveness.

This is not going to end well for everyone and we had years to beat them at their own game, but we chose safety and security instead.

Okay - so we chose "safety and security" instead - funny, I don't recall having an option. I've always voted against, railed and decried the very things that are coming back to annihilate me. Lucky for most of us, we do know how it's going to end. I pray that I can be part of the solution and will meet everyone in the air.

If you all are not willing to get organized and change things yourself and now, don't count on escaping the living hell that awaits us all and our children and grand children. I told you Armageddon is not how the story in the Bible is supposed to end, but you will not believe it. It's only one possible ending because of inaction.

Well, people better start talking to each other, WO, or it will happen. EVERYBODY, young and old, needs to know. Someone has to tell them. I've tried many times and many ways, because I love God and that's what he told me to say. He tells you what to say too, and many others here and elsewhere. We don't like what's going on but we haven't gotten it together to actually do anything yet, but time really is so short now.

If Jesus came down here right this second just for a visit and saw all this mess, wouldn't HE tell us to get our butts in gear and take care of our business? I think he would. We have to at least TRY, there's no rules against that if it's for our greater good and the glory of God, are there? Nothing is carved in stone unless it actually happens, and it doesn't have to happen. God loves us and gives us FREE WILL for a very good reason, to fix our own problems, not wait for the devil to so totally control us that almost the entire world has to die before JC comes back. Like I've said before, if he does have to, that 1,000 years will be strictly to clean up a ravaged world and make it like it was before all the horror started. So why not do it now? We'll still go to heaven at the end, I mean you know? LOL, I get so mad sometimes because it is all so simple to me. They can't stop us if we mean it and do it. It's true. We out-rank Satan!!! He HAS to obey us and leave if we get it right!!!

Not MY program -- what God wants, for us all to be happy and devil-free.

People have to start TALKING to each other in real life, tell the THE TRUTH, that we have to get rid of all these bad systems and punish those who do wrong.

After people get what the TRUTH is, not the mind-swill around them everywhere, then get organized to take our country back. We can do it nice or we can do it nasty, whatever TPTB want. YOU think of ideas, don't leave everything up to me. What do YOU WANT? You see what's wrong, we talk about it all the time here. Get a list together and get everybody on board. Even if they try to keep the MSM propagandizing, in real life you'll know what the score is. Eventually enough people will have the force of will to get it done.

Many years ago I saw crowds of people in DC with a beautiful white flag with an open star on it, and I took that to be like God's flag..... meaning we won.

I keep saying WE WIN, so get on it!!! Everybody. I'm worn out from 40 years of trying.

We try to do that where ever we are Kitty. Some listen and some are just brain dead and can't be talked too.
The numbers are going up of those who are awake tho. Maybe not all awake because they actually think they can VOTE INTO OFFICE anyone to save the day. That's a good start but with the black boxes all rigged now and buses filled with people who vote multiple times, that day is past I am afraid. Not that I won't vote my conscience again if we even get to vote again.

But you are right. I also am tired of talking. DH is tired of talking. It's time to do something different cause THAT IS NOT WORKING......it just makes people go gray and hide.
No backbones in our country anymore I guess.

Imagine if during the beginning of the Reagan ERA if just thousands of retirees marched on Washington and demand entitlement reform- real reform - means tested and a change to pay as you go without collecting more than 1-5% above the entitlement checks.

Imagine if tens of thousands to 100 thousand retirees wrote their newspaper once a month and demanded real entitlement reform, means testing and truly pay as you go.

Instead they marched on to DC screamed for more, and have continued to demand more, look at the multi TRILLION free pharms for the animals on the farm program.

If Ron Paul could convince the entitled to allow middle aged and younger to opt out - we are not allowed today because our slave owners - .gov and the entitled will not release us from their chains. I realize Ron Paul would never be elected or selected for 2 reasons, he appears to not play by the black book, and 100 MILLION plus Americans will not give up their piece of the ponzi pie, even it it means the end of the Republic and the enslavement of future Americans.

Transcript

JEFFREY BROWN: And finally tonight an interview with Republican presidential candidate, Ron Paul.

It’s the first in our series of conversations with the contenders seeking to take on Barack Obama in next year’s election.

Judy Woodruff sat down with the congressman from Texas on Capitol Hill earlier today.

JUDY WOODRUFF: Congressman Ron Paul, thank you for talking with us.

REP. RON PAUL, R-Texas: Good to be with you today.

JUDY WOODRUFF: You’re running against a long list of Republicans seeking the presidential – the Republican presidential nomination, many of them very conservative – one in particular, Michele Bachmann, appealing to the tea party. Why are you more qualified than any of them?

REP. RON PAUL: I see them as defending the status quo much more so than I do because, you know, if you look at my foreign policy, nobody’s coming close, although they’re getting more sympathetic. I want to bring all the troops home. When it comes to personal liberties and what’s going on at our airports, I don’t like the Patriot Act, and they tend to support the Patriot Act. When it comes to monetary policy, they try to avoid it , yet money is one-half of all our transactions. We’re in a mess; so I concentrate a whole lot on the Federal Reserve and monetary policy. And of course, the spending is big issue with me, but it’s been that way for a long time.

JUDY WOODRUFF: Well, speaking of spending, Washington is in the grips right now of this huge divide – split over what to do about the debt limit, what to do about the deficit. You have said you’ve never voted to raise the debt limit, which pits you against not only the president and the Democrats, but the Republican leadership, both houses of Congress, most of the business community. Are they wrong when they say this would lead to an economic calamity? Are they just not telling the truth?

REP. RON PAUL: I think they’re misled. I think they believe what they’re saying, but I think they don’t understand economic policy because they’re afraid of a default, and they’ve been frightened. But this is the way so often government works. They try to frighten the people, such as frighten people about being attacked by nuclear weapons that don’t exist so we go to war needlessly. But the bailout – frighten the people so you bail out everybody, and forget about the people who are losing their houses. So, yes, there’s a lot of that.

But my point is, is it’s serious; the debt is too big. You can’t solve the problem of debt by raising the debt limit, and that’s what they were trying to do.

JUDY WOODRUFF: But you’ve been – you’ve had this position for years and years. But the decades you’ve served in the Congress, you haven’t been able to win folks over to your point of view. What makes you think you can win a majority over if you were president?

REP. RON PAUL: I think there’s a big shift because I can compare what’s happening now to four years ago, and it’s dramatically different. But, even last year we noticed a big difference, say, on the monetary issue.

So maybe I don’t have as much influence in direct legislation here, but the people – I believe I am closer to the people, because the people are scared and are sick and tired of it and they want smaller government.

JUDY WOODRUFF: Well, on this question of spending and cutting, you’ve said you would bring the government’s budget into balance the first year in office you were president. We’re talking, what, over a trillion-dollar deficit. What would you cut?

REP. RON PAUL: OK. I would start with military operations overseas. They hurt us and they hurt our national defense. And we can save hundreds of billions of dollars when you add up all the militarism and all the foreign aid and all the mischief we create, why do we have troops in Korea and Japan – all these things. So you could save a lot. That wouldn’t be enough.

Then you’d have to start cutting spending on the programs that aren’t essential like the Department of Education. We spend a lot of money; it doesn’t improve education. The Department of Energy – we don’t need Department of Energy. All those subsidies in Department of Agriculture – we don’t need that. We don’t need the intervention of the Department of Commerce. You can go on and on.

But you don’t have to go and cut health care or medical – or Social Security in order to start getting our house in order.

JUDY WOODRUFF: But you have talked about dramatically scaling down or reforming Medicare and Social Security. And so what would those programs look like if you could wave a magic wand and make it the way you’d like it?

REP. RON PAUL: Well, I haven’t talked a whole lot about that. Most of the time, I talk about is, if we’d have acted responsibly, we wouldn’t be facing this crisis.

I would like to offer young people going into the workforce the chance to opt out, opt out of Social Security. But that won’t work unless you do these cuts I’m talking about, the militarism as well as all these departments that make no sense at all. You could do that, but politically, it’s difficult because the other day, when we were voting on this resolution for the budget – the debt increase, I said, there’s two groups: One group wants to – won’t cut a nickel out of the military and the other won’t cut a nickel out of entitlement system. And that’s why we’re at this point.

JUDY WOODRUFF: You’ve also spoken of big changes in Medicare, structural changes. How would you change Medicare?

REP. RON PAUL: Well, once again, I haven’t emphasized that at all. But I would want people to opt out of the system. I would want people to have medical-savings accounts. Young people should be able to opt out and build up a medical savings account and take care of their own programs.

But that won’t work unless you’re willing to cut spending. And I think the most popular place to cut is all this spending overseas and the corporate welfare in this country, because most of the money that we spend here that’s supposed to poor really helps the large corporations, say, the housing bubble. Who got help?

See, the rich got bailed out. They got bailed out both by the Congress and the Federal Reserve. And they were making all the profits. So it was – it’s corporatism that is so bad, whether it’s medicine or even in education or the military-industrial complex. It’s corporatism. That is the welfare that is huge compared to the welfare of food stamps.

JUDY WOODRUFF: But without some government regulation, which I know you are against, what’s to keep corporations from running – doing whatever they want?

REP. RON PAUL: Well, because I talk about a lot less regulation – I don’t like the regulatory agencies, but that doesn’t mean the free market doesn’t have regulation. The regulations in the free market are much stricter because if a company gets into trouble and goes bankrupt, the law – the economic law, which should be enforced by government, that company goes bankrupt. So instead of bailing them out, these companies should have gone bankrupt.

But you have sound money and free markets; you can’t counterfeit money, like the Federal Reserve does.

JUDY WOODRUFF: And just to be clear, what would the Federal Reserve look like under a Ron Paul presidency?

REP. RON PAUL: Well, there’s two different things. My goal would be, there’s no need for the Federal Reserve. Under a presidency you don’t get rid of the Federal Reserve overnight. In my – even in my book, “End the Fed,” I don’t say we should close the door and walk away. I ask for competition.

JUDY WOODRUFF: Let’s go to some of the international issues you touched on very quickly. You want to bring troops home. What should the U.S. footprint be internationally? What is the U.S. role in the world?

REP. RON PAUL: Well, it should be a footprint of trade and friendship, as we were advised and as the Constitution permits. The footprint shouldn’t be a military footprint. It shouldn’t be -

JUDY WOODRUFF: So bring -

REP. RON PAUL: The footprint we’re leaving now – our drone missiles dropping bombs and killing innocent civilians, launched from the United States with computers. That’s not the kind of footprint I want.

JUDY WOODRUFF: Afghanistan. How quickly would you bring the troops home?

REP. RON PAUL: As quick as the ships could get there. It’s insane on what we’re doing. And I’ll tell you one thing about this business about the military: We just had a quarterly report, and they listed all the money that all the candidates got from the military. I got twice as much as all the other candidates put together on the Republican side, and even more than Obama got, which tells me that these troops want to come home as well because they know exactly what I’m talking about.

JUDY WOODRUFF: Two other quick things internationally. You said you opposed the U.S. raid into Pakistan that led to the killing of Osama bin Laden. You also are – would do away with, in essence, the CIA. Why do – why did you oppose the raid, and what would you put in the place of the CIA?

REP. RON PAUL: Well the question to me was, could it have been done differently? I was just saying it could be done differently. I mean, all this does was raise questions. And I predicted that this would lead to a lot of resentment. And just think of the chaos in Pakistan and the mess that we have; we both bomb them, and we give them money, and then the people hate their own government because their own government’s a puppet of ours.

My frustration with bin Laden was, it took so long.

JUDY WOODRUFF: And the CIA, you would -

REP. RON PAUL: I would – I don’t think the CIA should be a military arm of the government dropping bombs secretly. You can’t even – you can’t even separate the two. You don’t even know who is controlling the bombing of this country now.

JUDY WOODRUFF: Couple of questions about your campaign. You have a son who was elected to the United States Senate, a Rand Paul from the state of Kentucky. This is your third try for president. There was some talk that he was looking at running for president. How did you discuss that between the two of you, that it was going to be you and not him who was running?

REP. RON PAUL: We never talked about it. It never came up.

JUDY WOODRUFF: Never had a discussion?

REP. RON PAUL: It just never came up.

JUDY WOODRUFF: Finally, Congressman, you look healthy. You certainly keep up a vigorous schedule. You would be 77 years old if you were elected president upon taking office, which is quite a bit older than the oldest president upon taking office, Ronald Reagan. Is age at all a factor for you in this campaign?

REP. RON PAUL: I think it is. I think age is very important, and sometimes I meet people when they’re 45, and they’re very old. And I think it’s the age of the ideas a person’s presenting, and is that person able to present these ideas? Freedom is a young idea. It’s only been tested for a couple hundred years. And we had a taste of it, and we’re throwing it away.

But what I see others are doing, the others, especially – and many of the other candidates, they have old ideas. It’s totalitarian, it’s the control of government, governments policing the world, militarism, telling people how to run their lives, running the economy, telling people what they can put in their mouths and whether or not they can even drink raw milk. It’s just – it’s just absolutely out of control.

But the idea that individuals are free, that they have a natural right to their life and the liberty, they ought to be able to keep the fruits of their labor, that is a young idea. So I would say, people ought to go with a young idea and somebody that can express them. And interestingly enough, it’s the young people that fully endorse my campaign.

JUDY WOODRUFF: We are watching that. Spoken very passionately. Congressman Ron Paul, we thank you for talking with us.

According to the above, Ron says you don't have to cut medical and SS if you cut back on the rest of the stuff.

JUDY WOODRUFF: Well, on this question of spending and cutting, you’ve said you would bring the government’s budget into balance the first year in office you were president. We’re talking, what, over a trillion-dollar deficit. What would you cut?

He has the best ideas that I have heard from anyone. He is his own man, not a bought and paid for puppet of the elite.
And that is the part I like the best. Ron is an honest man. That is in very short supply in DC or the district of criminals.

Sure, cutting the military spending would work. Even China thinks so.

BEIJING (AP) — The United States is spending too much on its military in light of its recent economic troubles, China's top general said Monday while playing down his country's own military capabilities.

The chief of the General Staff of the People's Liberation Army, Chen Bingde, told reporters he thought the U.S. should cut back on defense spending for the sake of its taxpayers. He was speaking during a joint news conference in which he traded barbs with visiting U.S. counterpart Adm. Mike Mullen.

"I know the U.S. is still recovering from the financial crisis," Chen said. "Under such circumstances, it is still spending a lot of money on its military and isn't that placing too much pressure on the taxpayers?

"If the U.S. could reduce its military spending a bit and spend more on improving the livelihood of the American people ... wouldn't that be a better scenario?" he said...

What part of our being in MULTIPLE wars in the mideast has ANYTHING to do with China?

You can have a powerful military and still not be spending trillions of dollars bombing the snot out of mideast countries...!
All that war machine is doing is putting money into the pockets of contractors like Halliburton, et all........

China is a threat, a big threat but right now it's not from it's military. It's from the US owing them trillions of dollars and our inability to pay them back. They will own our whole country and not have to lift a gun to get it!

Get it?

The point is that China is in accordance with Paul that the USA needs to downgrade it's military. I would bet though that they dramatically differ on the real reasons why they think it should happen.

Moggy, I've had that as part of my sig line for quite a few years now.

And they WILL kill us all, if we don't stop them somehow.

It is possible to stop them.

I strenuously disagree with you, Mz Kitty...they will kill only those who permit it, as they have been doing for many years via allopathic medicine and the pharmaceutical corporations because people are not willing to assume the responsibility for their own bodies. So how can you expect the majority of people who refuse to be responsible for their own health to now overturn the damage that has been done to our educational system, our monetary system, our legal system, our national debt, etc.? Therefore, the only thing left is for the systems to crash from their own weight, and as we can see that is now happening rather rapidly in Europe, soon to be visited upon us here in the United States.

The way I look at it, our only course of action at this time is to survive what is about to befall us...and then restructure a new system according to our Constitution. Once that is underway, those who are so inclined can do a Simon Wiesenthal and hunt the bastards who caused our country's downfall to bring them to justice.

I give up.

Survive how, Moggy? Millions and millions will not. And if there is any "re-structuring" done, it will again be them or their hand-pickeds doing it.

They still won't care about nor obey the Constitution, not them....

The machine never leaves voluntarily, oh no. Sniping them one by one won't change a damned thing, only total upheaval via the people who CAN will do it. So who do we trust to do it? Only ourselves, only ourselves..... everything else is another chain.

After the Fed and China, the biggest holders of U.S. debt are

* the household sector
* Japan
* state and local governments
* and private pension funds.

What I can't figure out is why *anyone* (individual or institutional) would continue to buy US bonds.
