do this experiment at your own risk. I cannot be responsible if you happen to klutz.
you may be uneasy about using a sraight razor to shave. you can make a guard similar to that of a safety razor.
to make a guard to keep from cutting yourself you'll need these items.
-a stiff piece of plastic roughly the size of the blade of the straight razor
- a binder clip http://www.discountofficesupplies.c...ch?hl=enAndq=binder clipAndbtnG=Google Search
- two small rubber bands
++put the rubber bands near each end of the piece of plastic ( they make a small space between blade and guard)
++place the piece of plastic on the side of the razor away from your face
++secure the piece of plastic with the binder clip
adjust the piece of plastic so it hangs a bit below the cutting edge of razor
tip the razor so that the plastic guard touches your face. as you move the razor slowly downward tip the razor so that the cutting edge touches your face.
