Video of the Day: Austin Police on Horseback Clear Out Occupied Streets of BLM-Antifa Goons
By Jim Hoft Published August 2, 2020 at 1:12pm

This ought to make your Sunday.
Austin, Texas police on horseback cleared out the occupied streets yesterday in the state capital.
Lawless Black Lives Matter-Antifa goons were attempting to take control of the streets.
So police on horseback were brought in.
Enjoy!

At the antifa gathering in Austin, Texas, militants refuse to disperse occupied streets. Officers move in on horses and forcibly move the people out of the road. They scream and shout in anger. #AustinRiots #antifa pic.twitter.com/BJxJwIflZz

Thank God for Texas!
Candice Bernd shot the video.

Nazi provocateur and grifter Andy Ngo stole the video I originally shot yesterday to spin yesterday’s #BlackLivesMatter protest as an “antifa gathering.” https://t.co/4ejm5EW1iS

Have you ever looked at a work horse's hoof? They're massive. Now put a heavy steel horseshoe on it and you have a potentially lethal weapon, actually four of them, front and back. Paniced or hurting horses can lash out.

I got a foot stomped by an unshod Arab. That Arab was tiny standing next to a workhorse. I don't want to even imagine the damage one of those big boys could do.

Mildly off
This. However, if one of them is seriously hurt by the mostly Peaceful Protesters there will be a backlash. Horses aren't technically cops. I'm thinking the sympathy will be with the horse not the individual(s) that harmed it.
Question, does a police horse have the same recognition as a police dog? Legally speaking.

I think the read on this is if you damage or hurt the equine, its the same as an assault on the officer himself. Grab the reins and it becomes "interference with an officer in performance of his duty."

Curiously, if you are hurt in the melee resulting, it is put to the "force of nature" exclusion I mentioned earlier.

A parallel can be drawn to Police on bicycles, except there is no exclusion for force of nature. If a policeman rides into you, it's the police fault - same as if he were on any motorized vehicle.

I have stepped on the foot of a passerby once at a parade. I didn't see the girl in the crowd. It was not pretty but fortunately the small bones of the foot are easily broken - and easily mended for a teen-ager. Owner followed her out of concern after an exchange of addresses. Owner said if it was a direct hit on the arch of the foot and broke many bones, the potential is for crippling. Fortunately for this case no permanent damage done.

I can confirm this. I used to do farrier work (horseshoes) and have been kicked (mostly lightly, once hard) and stood on a number of times. I've also been bitten, and had horses lean up against me pinning me to a wall.

Overnight Riot Report — Austin Edition: Texas Police Don’t Even Wait for the Sun to Go Down
Posted at 6:30 am on August 2, 2020 by Shipwreckedcrew

Word on the net tonight was that the action was going to be — supposedly — in Austin, Texas as Antifa/BLM was holding a memorial for Garrett Foster, the moron who pointed the business end of an AK-47 at active duty Army Sargent Daniel Perry, who is well trained to not wait for the other guy to shoot first once engaged. The not-so-well-trained former Air Force mechanic Foster ended up on the losing end of a shootout due to his failure to get off a shot.

Perry was driving for a rideshare company during his off duty hours on Saturday night last weekend when he turned down a street in downtown Austin, only to encounter protesters blocking his path. Foster was among the group of protesters who moved to surround Perry’s car. Foster was openly carrying an assault rifle over his shoulder, legal in the State of Texas. Foster approached the driver’s side of the car and — using the assault rifle barrel — motioned for Perry to roll down his window. When Perry did he quickly realized Foster was not with law enforcement. When Foster pointed the barrel of the assault rifle in Perry’s direction, Perry used a handgun he carried for personal protection and shot Foster believing that Foster may have been preparing to shoot him. Perry drove a short distance to safety away from the crowd, called the police, and waited for them to arrive. He cooperated with the police from the beginning and was released without charges being filed on Monday morning.

Antifa/BLM protesters were out in decent numbers, and the action got started much earlier than was the case normally in Portland.

I guess maybe accuracy with pepper spray is higher during daylight hours.

Dorothy, I don’t think we’re in Portland anymore.
Good. I'm glad the commie was shot dead !

Restaurant Managers Stand By And Watch “Peaceful” BLM Agitator Threaten Customers With Bull Horn “Come out here on these streets—We’ll see who’s laughing, N—-!”
By Patty McMurray | Aug 2, 2020

Black Lives Matter protesters are becoming increasingly emboldened as Democrat leaders make it clear they are not on the side of law-abiding citizens or law enforcement officers tasked with keeping the peace.

Last night, independent journalist Savanah Hernandez was reporting from the streets in Austin, Texas where things are starting to heat up with Antifa members fighting each other and members of the Marxist BLM over how much lawlessness is acceptable.

Hernandez captured an incredible exchange between a BLM agitator with a bull horn and an innocent customer seated at an outdoor patio restaurant in Austin, TX. The BLM agitator can be seen shouting over a barrier surrounding the outdoor restaurant to customers, telling them they “I will express my anger at all of you! You need to choose a f*cking side!” The BLM agitator gets closer to the customer as the restaurant manager stands by helpless. “If you don’t choose a f*cking side—you are the problem!” he shouts. The BLM agitator stops to call out a customer with his bull horn for allegedly “laughing” at him. “Hey, look at me! You don’t wanna look at me, but you wanna laugh! Yeah–p*ssy ass boy! Come out on these streets and we’ll see who’s laughing, N*gga!” he shouted, adding, “Don’t you ever laugh at my pain again!”

In another video, Hernandez shows the police trying to clear the city streets of the violent agitators that Democrat leaders in Washington refer to as “peaceful protesters.”
