Using sunlight, we evaporate 100 gallons of ocean water down to a 1 gallon concentrate, containing the full spectrum of minerals found in ocean water. In the evaporation process, 99% of the sodium and 90% of the chloride solidify, leaving a liquid concentrate that is high in energy, and incredibly dense in micro-nutrients. Ocean Trace™ is OMRI listed and CCS verified as a fertilizer. It may be applied through foliar applications, through drip, flood, or sprinkler irrigation systems, or applied directly on the ground. Helpful bacteria thrive on Ocean Trace™. It does well in compost teas, plus helps to fortify other fertilizers, including fish, kelp and humates. We use microorganism based products to handle, mold, ponds, odors of all kinds, composting, agriculture enhancement etc. and we are adding re-mineralization to our line as I grew up on a farm in Iowa and watched it all disappear through chemicals. We have 9 full time staff and are based in Southern California.
We use Effective Microorganisms and are looking into purchasing a quarry for rock dust in the very near future.
