I was hoping she would beat this again. I saw her doing an interview after the diagnosis her cancer had returned. She sounded so positive and hopeful in her conversation. She had so much class about her. Prayers for her family.

I didn’t realize she was that old, she’s one year younger than my mom just six years older than OC.

My first record album that wasn’t for kids was Physical. I loved that song! I was only 9. My mom told me last year that she was concerned that I was so into that song. But I remember her wearing aerobics clothes when singing the song and thought it was about working out. I asked for the record and leg warmers that year for Christmas. My grandma liked the record so much she went out and got herself a copy too after hearing mine. Loved Grease too.

10 years older than me, but that isn’t why I feel like crying. Feels like a big chunk of life’s innocence just faded away. Could be the eight beers (at this point) though. Feeling very maudlin.

Was sad upon reading this, I do remember grease fondly, and play You're the one I want for sweet boy to this day. Upon second thought, though, I'm as happy for her as I am sad; we've got the digitally preserved memories, and she's off to get some healing for her hurts...so I'll just offer my prayers (and thanks!) for those she left behind, and her safe journey home

I know the feeling........both famous and personal friends have gone and I'm still here...........

I used to laugh when I was little and my mother would say you can tell somebody is old when the open the newspaper up to the obituaries to see who they know that has died.

I would laugh and think that is silly...................
