Anyone pre-ordered and anxiously awaiting its arrival? I ordered it a couple months ago. I played the “one hour demo” over the weekend. It’s amazing looking.
Yeah, I read that. You may not want in on MechWarrior, but Biomutant has quite a story going for it. Think "Kung Fu Panda" but with a raccoon sort of thing instead.Again, shmups aren’t my fav.
Years ago when my kids were...well, kids, we used to play Resident Evil 3 in a game cube...I think?
Anyway, we lived in a remote part of northern Montana and for hours a day, in the long -45 F winters, we’d play.
The kids all still love talking about those times, but I’ll tell you what, the realism of the new Resident Evil games today...wow...
I wouldn’t even think about wanting to playing them drunk or high! (Not that I do that!)
I watched the trailer for Biomutant last night. I’m not into furry little cartoon creatures either. I own 7 Days but haven’t played it much.
Before what became a lost cause? The Xbox or the game?
Get the app “HotStock.” Set a restock alert. Trust me.Xbox Series X is STILL next to impossible to find.
So no one but me will be getting it?
Sigh. I feel so alone and unloved….
7DtD is, apparently about to be updayed and released for consoles. The situation with the Publishers has apparently been resolved.7 Days to Die on Xbox One. It's a fairly long story involving issues between the developer and the publisher, but 7 Days to Die on Xbox One hasn't updated for years. I believe it's stuck somewhere around Alpha 12, where the PC version is up to Alpha 19.
Xbox One definitely isn't a lost cause; it'll have games coming out through this year at last report, likely because Xbox Series X is STILL next to impossible to find.

That said there are questions-will people who bought the original for console with no updates have to scrap their game and buy new or buy the updates and so forth.
I have a couple of Yootoobers who play it and I watch them. It looks fun but certainly not realistic, especially since you "Somehow" start some years after the Zombie Apocalypse-in your underwear and have to start with a wood clud and stone knives and shit. Mt Survivalist Brain screams "BULLSHIT!" then add in the getting hungry or dying of thirst every three minutes.
Seems the whole Genre of Independent survival games does that exact same Shctick.
Again, it'd be a fun game but not more realistic than Space Imnvaders.
As far as Villsge, not sure-loos interesting but, like a lot of games set in a Apocalypse/Scary/Survival-they tend to think darkness and it always being foggy is a great way to add to the game Feel but it really messes up people with vision issues.
Take Days Gone-would love to play but, it seems that even in daytimes there is an overall foggy and shadows and such are darker than it would be in Meatworld so I rarely see the Bad Guys in time.

No, not all that realistic. You can make loot respawn, for example, and build a pickup truck from scratch with about seven key parts: A chassis, a set of accessories, an engine, and four wheels.
I believe the "you start in your underwear" part is actually explained in the plot, though; I've seen some of those playthroughs too and they mention something about being robbed, which is likely a familiar experience in such an environment.
However, it DOES get you thinking, and that can't hurt. Like about how useful a small motorbike might be, post-Whatever.
Must be the Rick Grimes school of zombie management…in others, the player walks past cars, buildings and debris of all shapes and types and cannot make a Steel Post club or a Pike?
Today’s games are effectively interactive movies. I don’t see that as a bad thing.
