Report: WikiLeaks cancels highly anticipated Tuesday announcement due to 'security concerns'

Wikileaks has abruptly canceled a much-anticipated announcement on Tuesday, according to NBC News. The announcement had been expected to be founder Julian Assange’s long-promised document dump on Hillary Clinton.

NBC’s Jesse Rodriguez reported that the Tuesday announcement — which was to come from the balcony of London’s Ecuadorian Embassy, where Assange has sought sanctuary for years – was canceled due to “security concerns”.

Wikileaks has not said when it will now make its “announcement.”

Assange appeared on Fox News last month, repeating his assertion that Wikileaks has damaging documents on Clinton and suggested WikiLeaks may soon release “teasers.” More than three weeks later, that release has yet to take place.

Clinton’s more fervent opponents have hoped for weeks that the promised document dump would be an “October surprise” – damaging and revelatory emails or the like — and inflict a mortal wound on her campaign. There’s no evidence however that such damaging information even exists.

Assange may well have to do a massive Shrillery dump thorough proxies from many, many sources, simultaneously... Perhaps, such a dump would include Obama, and might trigger a perceived necessity for an immediate false flag event... Who really knows? God...

I gather he was supposed to go on a balcony to make the announcement, but if that were the only issue he could just do it on line.

I suspect he may have been warned about something worse than being Breitbarted (though that would of course be the end of him personally if it took place) but that it might be done to people he cares about (most people have someone whom they will not be willing to endanger; parents, siblings, grandparents, a child etc).

The sort of people he has been upsetting and threatening; well some of them probably have few qualms about such a threat (or carrying it out); I hope not, I want to know what information he does have if possible; but on the other hand this "drip, drip, drip" of information has left him open to that sort of attack.

Once it is out there, it is out there...

Put up or shut up.... You are an idiot for announcing it weeks in advance. MY cynical side says he wants out of the Embassy and is willing to trade the info quietly for his freedom. That is a much more plausible story....

I am beginning to wonder if he has anything at all or this is just pure BS on his part to save his neck. If he has anything, dump it out and see what happens. But like mentioned before the media will cover this up to protect the hill slag.

Just another promised "expose'" that never materializes. Why these people insist on stringing us along with promise after promise is beyond me. If he's afraid of his safety, why didn't he just say nothing until now and then land a bombshell?

Now that might actually be a very wise move; a balcony is just too easy a target - and by leaking the information; well once it is out there the only reason for violence would be revenge; if anything that would be so obvious it would just make the case for the information stronger.

I dunno Guccifer 2.0 did more to expose Hillary and the Dems on a consistent basis than Wikileaks. They both did the world a favor but Assange is getting balmy in that Embassy and wanting out.

Good I hope this is true, because the more well-known people in on "it" the more difficult it becomes to snuff out or threaten everyone; also I would also suspect that Assage HAS some sort of "dead mans hand" on the information too.

My hunch is, depending on what the information is; that he may have waited because he has seen how the Main Stream Media can do a bang up job of hiding just about anything and/or making people forget about it very quickly.

Be Well is correct, in a law abiding country; he has already put enough out there (along with several other people/organizations) to have her probably in jail and at least out of the campaign by now.

Instead the stuff gets a one to three day wonder in the news and then "poof" its gone or a conspiracy theory...

I'm on the side of him using the info to get his own "Get out of jail" card. He is tired of being locked up in that embassy and maybe this info is so important that he can gain his freedom or at least a fair shake. Maybe that is why Stone has contacted him. Maybe he can broker a deal with Trump. Money can do many things. You really can't blame the guy for wanting his freedom and using his resources to get it. Hopefully the info comes out and Assange does get his freedom. Best of all outcomes.

Julian Assange will still give his highly anticipated announcement on Tuesday, according to NBC reporter Jesse Rodriguez. It was initially planned to come from the balcony of London’s Ecuadorian Embassy, but was cancelled due to “security concerns.”

Rodriguez says the announcement will now be made over a video link at a Berlin press conference.

The announcement is thought to be a document dump about Hillary Clinton. Assange appeared on Fox News in September claiming WikiLeaks has damaging documents about the Democratic nominee, and that it would soon be releasing “teasers” that promised to significantly impact the election. Nothing has been released since that interview, however.

WikiLeaks published nearly 20,000 emails over the summer showing that top officials at the DNC were far from neutral during the primary contest and even floated plans to undermine Sen. Bernie Sanders’ campaign.

The reason he can't come out is Sweden wants to arrest him on a trumped up totally phone rape charge.
