Trying to hang out with the cool kids.
WOW!
Interesting. In N. Ga everything except tp and organic flour and yeast were about back to normal. Oh, and small bottles of hand soap were out of stock. But Publix and Kroger (a little pricier than WM) had full shelves of everything, and you would never know there was a meat shortage.
And I am interested in seeing whether "open" states have less of this problem than "lockeddown" states.Same in Florida, or at least for the areas I've been shopping ... Jacksonville, US 90 corridor before the panhandle area, and the Tampa Bay region.
I wonder if this was a stocking issue, rather than a stock issue.

All the Walmarts in my area are still fully stocked. The electronic sections are slim to nothing, though.
Several walmarts I have been into have large areas now devoted to laptops. Looks like Best Buy. Not kidding. Definitely looks out of place.
Yes, the Walmarts here all have large areas for laptops. Rows and rows of them on display. Every single one says "Out Of Stock".
And by that time, Trump will have told them how we are going to fix the China problem. Landslide in Nov. I believe Trump tried to work with China and get a fair deal, thinking they would keep to the agreements. He has now turned the corner and is going to use this opportunity to break off ties and bring our people home. Or at least to somewhere else in Asia. Opinion.People will wake up and realize just how much of the goods we purchase come from china.
parsonswife, you prompted me to order my painting project supplies TODAY.
Glad I bought twenty back when this first started!I went to Home Depot to get yet another small paint roller (for base boards and those skinny places between a door frame and a wall)
there were NONE
OMG! What ever will we do! Get a 60 and sit closer? Anything worth watching?Walmart in my AO is also out of or very low on TV's 65 inches or larger.
Costco has the yellow and black 27 gallon totes. I have six, mostly full of food.when you go to the store look for storage bins. you know, the ones that are about the size of two folded bed spreads.
I was over at Home Depot recently in the laminate floor section. there are about 4 aisles of flooring. but right in the middle, there was half an aisle of "storage bins" just taking up space.
Local grocery store, I was looking for salad mix, they didn’t have what wife wanted, but 15 spots with the same product. Weird. Our nearest Walmart has lots of empty space. They were filling meat areas with potato salad this weekend.
Running up that post countOf course, you could have just edited your post...
As did I...(snicker) No, I don’t. But I’m going to help you. I assume from your answer that you’re using a smartphone, and further, that you use it in the upright (portrait) orientation. Thus you don’t see the EDIT option.
Tap the ellipsis under your post (the three dots for you “tech challenged old people.”) The EDIT link will mysteriously appear. Tap that, edit post, and SAVE.
All done.
There, you learned something new this morning...
Funny! Our markets are filling the beef spots with local fresh fish! Our nearest Walmart has lots of empty space. They were filling meat areas with potato salad this weekend.
