A self-proclaimed registered nurse took to Twitter to suggest that she would not give someone emergency medical treatment for coronavirus if he was a Trump supporter.

The nurse was responding to a man called George S. Martan who posted a photo of himself wearing a face mask with ‘Trump 2020’ embroidered onto it.

“My wife sewed this face mask today to protect me from the Wuhan Virus and show support for President Trump,” commented the man.

I’ll see you in ER. Please wear your mask so when we have to decide who gets the vent, it’ll be easier. Thanks

“I’ll see you in ER. Please wear your mask so when we have to decide who gets the vent, it’ll be easier. Thanks,” responded Erika Waters, who describes herself as a registered nurse practitioner in her bio.

Waters has several anti-Trump hashtags in her bio, including #Resist, #GunReform and #BLM (Black Lives Matter).

She immediately faced the wrath of other Twitter users, including one who pointed out, “Medical homicide via negligence is the third leading cause of death in the United States.”

Others tagged the Florida medical board in an attempt to alert health authorities to the threat, with one tweeting, “Hope your medical malpractice carrier doesn’t see this.”

Waters later claimed that people were targeting the wrong nurse with the same name, remarking, “Your conduct is just as horrid as mine while you are doxxing every nurse named Erika Waters.”

She also subsequently apologized to Martan, tweeting, “I was not thinking, obviously, when I suggested you wear your mask into the ER where I work. I can’t explain why I tweeted that and hope you’ll forgive me but understand if you don’t.”

Since all this is public and ppl are doxxing the wrong person, I’ll tell you now that there are many nurses named Erika Waters. Your conduct is just as horrid as mine while you are doxxing every nurse named Erika Waters.

It's the downfall of having a common name. I Googled mine once; apparently I've been everything from a Wisconsin state senator to a golf pro. I think I made guitars once? Bizarre seeing all the people I have never actually been. :D

At what point do these people become a threat to the National Security of the Nation? With all the False Media fanning the Flames, there has to be something that the Current Government can do about the Media's Deception. I wish Trump would activate the 2012 NDAA that Oboma signed into law and use it against them. I 100% believe they planned on useing it against us if Hillary had won. But then again, where would it stop?

Yes, she can. She just wasn't expecting the negative backlash she got. Anyone in the medical field who would even suggest something like that means it.

It shouldn't be too hard to find the correct Erika Waters who is an NP in an ER in the Naples, FL area and report her both to the hospital and the FL Nursing Board. Though she may have apologized, her initial sentiments about withholding care would be her truest. The apology is simply trying to not get fired or lose her license.

I have one of those common names, which was one of the reasons I hyphenated when OC and I married, that and I had already been showing my artwork professionally for almost 20 years. When I went and googled both versions of my name, pre-marriage and post-marriage with no hyphen there were thousands of women with the same name globally, sigh, even the same middle name. Both versions of my name are VERY common in the UK.
