Received alert on the Citizen app reporting a refinery fire at 4001 E Fifth Ave, Columbus, Ohio.
Images attached. News is scant at this time, and I’m heading to bed. Sorry for being a lousy reporter on this one.

Owner says he paid $2.99 a gallon yesterday.

Less refineries - less refined fuel product - price goes up.

According to their website it is. They take used motor oil and make it into vacuum gas oil which is then sent off for feed for a refinery to refine. They only do 1500 barrels a day so in the scheme of things its not a big deal for supply.
Yes, thankfully a fairly low volume of output but if they have 10-20 days production waiting to be processed, that's a fair amount of polluted w/ who knows what going up in smoke and dropping on whatever is down wind.

I see another payout of Federal Disaster support $$$$ in the near future never mind the cost of the requisite investigations. As SJW Marxists love to find fault w/ free enterprise businesses (and ascribe blame) that could lead to this plant closing and an associated loss of jobs.

Of course that would be OK in the greater scheme of stamping out anything to with killing off IC Engines and the evil fuel they require.
