Was looking for a recipe (or instructions) to make homemade beef jerky. I have a tenderloin I want to use for that. Anyway, I came across this and thought I would add a recipe that is cheap, yummy and feeds a LOT of people.
1 can corned beef
1 8 ounce can tomato sauce
1 packet Sazon (common in Hispanic cooking, they sell it at Walmart!)
Adobo to taste ( it is a special seasoning salt that, again, is common Latin seasoning, sold anywhere) don't substitute for American style season salt
Some chopped onion and garlic if you have it, but, you don't really need it
Mix all the ingredients in a frying pan to shred up the beef, let it cook really low for 15-20 minutes, serve it over rice.
I learned to make this when I live in Puerto Rico. It is actually really good.
