PRYR RQST quick prayer request

Guys.. I'm sitting in a McDonald's parking lot, 200 miles from home. Was heading to my son's so I could see the dentist tomorrow, and my muffler broke off, probably right at the catalytic converter. Grrr...

DS is on his way, but it's not exactly easy to work on a Subaru that's about six inches off the ground, in temps in the teens. Yeah, it could be a lot worse! Prayers that we can at least get it wired up off the ground, and maybe (it will take a miracle) get the noise down to the point where every cop I pass won't want to stop me to bitch or worse would be greatly appreciated! As I told DS, I hate oldd vehicles, but when your net income is around $200 a month, there isn't much choice!

And this one is really in great shape, but we were hoping the temporary repairs we did in
November would hold until the weather warmed up and hubby could replace the whole thing in weather warm enough so his hands would work. He has severe Reynaud's disease, and his hands turn dead white and numb when temps go below 50, if it's damp.

Thanks!

Of course. Prayers for ST and DS, that repairs can be made and will hold. Take heart!

Good luck dealing with automotive problems. Tough enough when you have the $ to spend.....

I give up.
How awful. Just said a prayer for ya. There was some guy around here years ago who kept his noisy muffler up with a coat hanger.

So sorry! I asked our Lord to please be with you and your son this afternoon. Dang! Sounds so cold there.

Prayers from here also that son can get it fixed enough to get you thru and that any LEO you come across will have compassion.

How far are you from your son?

Praying the Lord will be there with you while you wait, and provide a good solution.

I'm a little late in reading this so hoping that my prayers find you either home or at your son's, warm and comfy.
