I have BLM 25 miles away this evening in Boise. I just never thought it would be here. I put off going into Boise to buy a couple book cases tonight, and I think it was a good choice.

Trump should insist the FBI throw on federal charges. They could send at least a couple of the football team of agents normally assigned to check out a Nascar garage because there was a garage door and we know how dangerous those can be.
We need to up the value of the stupid prizes. Then pull the we can play this game and dox their parents and ask if it safe to have radical terrorists in their place of business and stick camera’s in front of the parents and ask if they support shooting random people for no reason like their son?

“We are grateful for the photos and videos we’ve received and we are following all leads. If anyone has video or photos of the incident at Center Street and University Avenue, please contact detective Patterson at npatterson@provo.org,” police said in a statement.
Video shot by KSL-TV recorded what appears to be a man with his face concealed pointing a handgun at the SUV on the passenger side of the vehicle. The “popping” sound of shots being fired can be heard in the video.
About 50 minutes after the shooting, tensions remained high as cars continued to drive through the lines of protesters, prompting some to jump onto the vehicles and hit the windows. Demonstrators marched to the Provo Police Department and were met with officers in riot gear. Amid calls to disperse and threats of arrest from police, protesters chanted, “Hands up, don’t shoot.”
By 10 p.m., most of the crowd had dispersed after a woman with a megaphone, who was one of the organizers of the protest, told everyone to go home.
King Tuesday night emphasized the investigation into incidents during the protest is not over, saying “we do want to urge people with information of anyone who was involved in damage to other vehicles to still please contact detective Nick Patterson.

The only thing that's keeping charges "stuck" on this one is a small town city DA that Soros probably hasn't gotten to yet - and local politics.

And no cops around. I get it. Cops are hated by this bunch...but not by law abiding citizens. So, here and now we see the difference. Over the years, the cops have become militarized. They even look like soldiers half the time and have been purchasing armored vehicles and M16s. Battlefield equipment. They have been lumped into the military...which is WRONG! They are called "heroes"(and some are indeed), and even get a "thank you for our service". Nope. All wrong. These people are NOT like military. Military would go in and clean clock on the order and that's that. If you don't, you go to prison. But, the military job is to go in and do what they are told and risk their lives. Not so with cops. They have the luxury of "we don't feel like responding".

Man shoots motorist during Black Lives Matter protest in Provo Utah.

A man shot and wounded a motorist during a Black Lives Matter protest in Provo Utah. KSL. The incident occurred when a motorist who was not involved in the protest or any counter-protest tried to turn where the rally was occurring. Protesters surrounded the vehicle and started to attack it while the suspect pulled out a gun and fired a shot, hitting the 60 year old driver. The driver then attempted to flee, scattering the protesters, while the attacker fired a 2nd shot, missing the driver. The gunman then holstered his firearm and then used it again to attack another vehicle by hitting its window with the gun. The driver has been hospitalized and is in stable condition.
My Comment:
This is a major escalation from Black Lives Matter. These people were already violent and have been attacking motorists for quite some time now. But now they have stepped up to attempted murder. The driver in this case was very lucky that he wasn't killed. So far in this round of protests there hasn't been that much open violence but I guess that has changed now.
It was pretty clear that these protesters were out of control before this incident even happened. Below is another incident of a car being attacked by them. It shows people climbing on their cars and trying to get inside. The driver, very wisely, didn't stop and didn't give them a chance to do what they did to the driver that got shot.
I think that it's pretty clear that the driver in the first video didn't do anything wrong. He wasn't moving anywhere near fast enough that the shooter could claim self defense or defense of others. Indeed, the rioters attacked the driver first and the shooter had no justification in trying to stop the driver even if he ran someone down.
I can't imagine people stopping for these protests now. Why would you? If you do it's possible that you will get shot or beaten. Much better to just keep going and if people get hurt it's on them. Let's make something clear though, I'm not advocating doing what James Alex Fields did and running down protesters at high speed. That's stupid in all but the most dire situations, but I do think it's important to not stop if people are trying to get into your car.
I generally think that any protest that involves people on streets without a permit should be broken up as unlawful. The danger of people getting hit by cars is too strong even if the protesters are behaving themselves and not trying to murder innocent motorists. The chances of that happening are extremely small though as most cities have decided to let these rioters run wild.
Of course, this kind of outcome is expected when police aren't allowed to break up protests or even arrest the kind of people that are causing trouble. Eventually people are going to get killed and we seem to be getting closer and closer to that everyday.
My advice would be this. Do whatever you can to avoid areas where this kind of protest is happening. If it can't be avoided, don't stop your vehicle if at all possible. If you have to leave plenty of room between you and the next car so you at least have a chance to maneuver. If people are attacking you feel free to keep going. I'd avoid slamming the accelerator but leave as fast as you can as safely as you can, both for you and any rioters attacking you. Do whatever is necessary to keep yourself alive, but keep in mind that you might face prosecution if you kill or injure someone.

If the Provo rally had been Trump Sympathizers and a car attempted passage to be bumped by one - and then shot at by one - the entire march would have been shut down and EVERYONE put into the pokey. And the headlines would read "Trump Support March Shows Their Violent Intent."
As it is being reported "Peaceful Marchers Hit & Run by White Supremacist - Defensive Shots Fired."
It is a conspiracy - but none dare call it that because the conspiracy is succeeding.

Provo isn't Minneapolis, Seattle, or DC. It is Provo, Utah. It's a Repuke stronghold. Yet, it's slowly fading as the area population, and main church, become more woke. Students, gays, and profs to a large degree are the most woke there. There's an undertow of grunge there, though, these days. Also, an ever increasing gay population rolling into the Y.

Respectfully, they weren't just standing in the road way.
They were inhibiting the free and lawful travel of another (Citizen? - who knows these days...)
Were they screaming at the driver? Beating on the vehicle? Terrorizing them? Threatening them?
My analysis is that there is a group, with many minions, who are trying to get a reaction. They keep amping up, and amping up, and they aren't going to be happy until there is a reaction - such as we saw with the driver, or worse.
Then, the media will do it's thing, and it's all Trumps' fault.
They are working hand in hand, IMHO.
