TRANS Proper pulling over for traffic stop

Roughly speaking the population is 1/8 black, and they commit about 1/2 of violent crimes. If everyone were equal, only 1/8 of violent crimes would be committed by blacks. I don’t think it’s because they have a darker tan, rather something in their genetic background, or their culture, evolved into their genes from their African upbringing that is reflected in their instant gratification, failing to consider results of their actions, etc. If they were truly equivalent to us, would these differences be so glaringly obvious? Do Europeans have these traits? Some do, we’re not perfect. That’s why there are some of us in prison, as well.
Consider where technological civilizations came from. Africa is rich in resources, minerals and such. Is there a Wakanda? No. Are there tall buildings not designed and built by Europeans? No. The races are different in their abilities. It is what it is. Are they violent because of their skin color? No. The group identified as Black have a culture that evolved for survival under different conditions. The past here in the states, where Black families had two parents, strived to make something of themselves, they could do that, but conditions have changed. What can we do about that? What can they do about that? First, Don’t vote democrat. Second, what it takes to get the father back into the family and be responsible for their emissions.

Saying "black and stupid" seems like a racist statement
Question is, are they stupid because they’re black or black because they’re stupid? There’s some data that purports to show a lower average IQ among some groups, whites below Asians is one of them. I don’t think cultural intelligence is a linear function. Behavioral intelligence might be a better way to put it. What is it that leads a handful of youts to think it is acceptable behavior to steal a car? Was it a TikTok challenge? Is there anything stupider? Every piece of skin not fuzzed out, was, I believe, black. I’m sure white kids have done similar, to be sure.
About the savage thread being racist. Are the facts reported true? Are you upset because non-black crimes were not reported? Why don’t you do your own research to get accurate numbers.
Another thing. Little off base. How do you feel about the murders committed, over the centuries, by Muslims. What are those numbers? Were they more or less ghastly than these committed by blacks? How about communism and socialism, especially after countries were disarmed by their leaders.
What I’m saying, I guess, is atrocities of any kind must be called out and exposed for what they are. We may not be able to do more than protect ourselves personally against any and all threats. Be aware. Do not commit violence against anyone that hasn’t attacked you and earned a proportional response. I am certainly not calling out for instigating violence, just head on a swivel.

Pull over immediately when the lights flash, if you see a safe place “just right up there, but not way up there” turn on your blinker and slow then pull into that wide spot, if they don’t like where or how you pulled over they’ll tell you where to pull over on the PA system.

Don’t be screwing around thinking you know best or that it’s a “fake cop” or some BS fear like that

Have your documents ready, if you make a trooper stand out in the snow, rain or hot sun while you dig through trash, old insurance papers, McDonalds crap and junk and rotten food you’re more likely to get a tix with each passing second they’re standing out there.

Keep your hands on the wheel, engine off, window down with docs in your left hand, or right hand if they approach on pax side, and be ready to hand over immediately ”here you go sir/ma’am”

Don’t be moving or janking around in the vehicle as soon as you come to a stop, or even before you’re stopped

Keep your car clean and smelling nice

I pull over right away! As I have stated before, the cop is in charge the stop, so they choose the location. I don't give one worry about their safety on the road because they are in control of the stop. That is their problem and not mine.

Where I choose to store the required documents is up to me and not the state. If I want to store them in the trunk under the spare tire then that is my business and my business alone. If cops don't like then that is not my problem, and I don't care how the documents are normally stored by other people.

The weather is not my issue. The cop standing in the cold, rain, or snow is doing it on his own accord. I am not forcing him/her to be there. If the cop has to wait a few minutes as I get my documents then so be it. They can wait as long as it takes. They will do the same to me as they run their record checks and write the tickets.

The condition that I keep my car is none of the cops business...period. There is no law that states that my car must be of trash or other objects. Also, there is no law that states how my car must smell. The look and smell of my car is none of the cops concern and if they don't like then that to bad for them. I will keep my car how I want. In fact, how I keep my car is a form of my artul expression covered under the 1st amendment

I do have a question for you. How can a person keep their hands on the wheel and also get the required documents without, as you put it, janking around? I don't know how a person can do that. I will move around in my vehicle as I see fit. I will never call a cop sir or maam. I always thought that was stupid. They are just people. No better or worse then everyone else

Your right of course, but you may have missed my point

Starting with the cops themselves. In my AO they are the ones breaking traffic laws. Speeding and tail gaiting. Illegal U-turns. The list goes on
^^This. So frustrating! I was driving with my kids in the car yesterday, and had a cop suddenly veer across several lanes of traffic to get in front of me because the other lanes of traffic were going too slow for their taste. They must've gotten a call not long after that, because they suddenly flew back out of my lane, turned their reds on, and started flying around all of us, then straight through a red--didn't even give traffic that had the green time to react--and then veered right into a parking lot. I understand if you've got a call to go to, but reckless driving isn't going to do anyone any good if you cause an accident.

So basically, the nearest gas station or mall, place with people.
I have seen legitimate stops where the perp, obviously in the wrong, calls to bystanders to help him. Think, how stupid can he be? You want a total stranger to pull the cops off’n you? Sparky’s going to get a workout.

See I'm female, if that isn't clear. And I've seen people pulled out of vehicles at traffic stops. I'm not thinking of the cop, I'm thinking of my son and myself.

As far as what to do once stopped, heck even while driving to stop, I was taught to keep your hands in view, do not mess around with anything, do not get out of the vehicle, and once stopped keep your hands on the wheel. You can grab paperwork and other items after the cop can see you. Better for the cop's peace of mind and less likely to cause issues.

Pulled over more than once when I ran a newspaper route. None of those officers had an issue with me driving to somewhere that I could get off a main road. But then, I typically only went a block or two, with my flashers on. I do have to admit that the most amusing of those was the newbie who thought I was throwing drugs out the window (bricks of drugs to multiple random houses) rather than newspapers. He was rather embarrassed as he walked up and saw the bins of newspapers in the passenger seat. I gave him one of my extras and went back to work.

How do I know he was a newbie? I'd been doing that route for over two years. The regulars had already followed me a time or two and knew who I was and what I was doing.

Cops make mistakes and are human. But they don't get to dictate my safety. And every cop in this town knows my son. And by extension, me.

This is just dumb. Perhaps you enjoy standing in the rain while removing your spare tire, I don’t.

I am not a "SovCit" as you put it, but do agree with some of what they say. I hate having to ask permission and pay for a privilege from the government.

Why should a person have to a license to operate a private vehicle on a public road funded with tax payer money?

Why do license plates even exist? They don't do anything but provide a good way to track people and revenue generation. A person should not need a permission slip to operate a vehicle on a public road.

My favorite is when the government violates their own rules and the CITIZEN is the bad guy for trying to fight it. Been there and done that.

So yeah I can understand where the "SovCit" are coming from. Heck I hope a lot more pop up around the country
If I have to follow the rules, so should you. This is how SovCit stops should go. No need to jawbone about imaginary Supreme Court Cases and Common Law. You don’t have a license, you refuse to identify, you’re going to jail. What the hell do you gain? This guy gets off easy.

It is ones perspective that matters. I have no issue standing in the cold rain, and if the cop doesn't like then so be it. The cop is the one that decided to take the job and is the one that pulled me over. It is not my respocibility to makes the cops job easier. If I choose to store my documents in an area that isn't what other people do then so be it.

You are correct, everyone should follow the rules, including the cops.

I never said that I don't follow the law. I said that I do question the laws and ask why.

I agree with what some of the "SovCit" say

Do you intend to actually go SovCit, just because you feel contrary? Gonna display the “please tow me” plate? Enjoy the silver bracelets and jail food? Cavity search?

I've been in many pursuits. I would never pit a car unless they were an immediate danger to others. Sometimes it's just a European tourist that is waiting for you to pull around them to stop them because that's how it's done over there.

No, as I stated above, I don't plan on going "SovCit." I simply stated that I agree with some of what say.

I don't have any plans to display a "please tow me" plate. I can't remember having actually seen a plate like that.

I don't enjoy wearing bracelets or any jewerly, so I don't see myself wearing them anytime soon or enjoying if I do wear them. I am not to picky on metals so I can't answer about the silver

I don't think that I have ever had jail food. I don't even know what jail food is.

What do you mean by cavity search?

Silver bracelets (actually stainless) refer to handcuffs, as referred to by some YouTube hosts in the genre. Jail food is what they serve in jail if you’re there too long.
Cavity search is how they make sure you’re not smuggling contraband into jail. Meet Mr. Snappy Glove.

No wonder why he's losing his shit. Who's the victim here?

Sad.

If he was a illegal, they would of most likely just left them alone with a warning.

Only Americans with a SS# or license can be fined and arrested by local cops. For things like he has done.

ETA, the only victim is the poor American. And the big bad cops got their progress reports done, showing proof that they finned, towed/stolen away his truck, and arrested a American for resisting a arrest and what ever else they can pin on him.

So sad, even if the victim was a bit bitchy, guess that's his real crime, and calling the enforcers names, oh my!

Add.....

If the white dude with a bad attitude had long hair the enforcers might of just shot him.

For kicks, listen to the handler-K9 interaction after a successful arrest. “Who’s a good boy?” Pursuit vehicle with a K9, going apeshit, he wants you to stop him so he can play.

And a dead 85 yo woman. Her husband was there.
Interesting that the passenger side of the 89yo's pickup was undamaged. I suspect she died of a heart attack. Questionable it was the officer's fault as they were in a high speed pursuit using techniques intended to arrest travel (and the public threat.)
State should settle with the 89yo for somewhere near the minimum settlement and call it done. Call it the cost of protecting the public. Dragging it on does nobody good.

I’ve been watching a lot of these videos. When the cops finally stop them, after an initial pullover, then the 100+ chase at great public risk, the PIT and crash of their car, or their mother’s car, or the stolen car, the most common reason for running, “I got scared”. It would have been a ticket, now it’s multiple felonies. That is just plain stupid. Yes, the demographics are lopsided, noticeably so.

I agree, you should pull over, call 911 if you are not sure.

However, unless you present a danger to the public, the car is stolen, or you have outstanding warrants, the pit maneuver is way overkill. An action that could cause injury or death so they can collect a $200 fine?

There should be a graduated responsible directly in proportion to the situation.
