This evening, I got my “predictive” electric bill. At first glance, it appears that my bill will go up by about $75. I don’t mind however, because I’ve had a cool house all month. Also, September was the hottest month of the year this year. Normally, July and August are, and September starts the long, slow cool down. Not this time! Seven days over 100, and about 15 days in the mid to upper 90’s. A very hot month.
Anyway, it’s a pleasure to pay a premium for a cool house. I don’t think I could have made it through this past month without it.
