He's going for his 2nd PRRT session tomorrow. He will then have to isolate for 3-4 days. It's rough and he will have 6 more sessions after this- one every 8 weeks. Praying it a) keeps him alive, b) kills the cancer, and c) doesn't make him too sick. With one daughter due with his first grandchild next month and the other getting married in July, I just want him to be able to enjoy his life and have quality of life.

Here's a link to PRRT in case anyone is interested. It's pretty hardcore

On TB every waking moment
Sorta like radioactive spike proteins, it sounds like. Radical...

I sincerely hope it helps him and he gets to enjoy that granbebe.

Adding mine, Anne, for your brother and your family. NET's are probably the scariest of cancers that I've heard of.
I hope I didn't scare you more, Annie. I have a family member who had a small one which didn't have to have treatment as it was confined to the inner appendix. I read a lot about NET's then. All cancers are scary, especially when it's one that affects a family member. I'm sorry if I did.

You're sweet. I can't be anymore scared than I am. He's my older brother. Always been there for me. Zero cancer in my family history unless you were already in your late 80's. I knew this was bad when he told me. I could hear it in his voice. Add the fact he has a "team" of doctors and well, all we can do is pray God gives them the answers for what he needs.

You've been through a lot, Annie. Prayers for you all.
