Fox News Senior Vice President of News & Politics Alan Komissaroff died on Friday after suffering a heart attack at his home earlier this month. He was 47 years old.

This is an extremely difficult day for all of us who worked closely with Alan, and we are completely heartbroken," FOX News Media CEO Suzanne Scott and FOX News Media President Jay Wallace wrote in a memo to colleagues.
"Alan was a leader and mentor throughout FOX News Media who was integral to our daily news operations and played an indispensable role in every election cycle. The recent midterm election coverage was easily one of the finest nights of special coverage he produced throughout his career. And he was the ultimate producer: breaking news, politics, special events — there was no steadier or more trusted colleague to be with in the control room during the most consequential events of our time, and his incisiveness and passion for news made our work better," Scott and Wallace wrote.

Komissaroff was a proud "FOX News original," having started at the network when FNC launched in 1996. It was his first job after college.
"He would joke that he was a guy from ‘real Brooklyn’ and rose through the ranks to become a writer, producer, showrunner and eventually Senior Vice President of News & Politics, overseeing all political coverage," Scott and Wallace wrote. "His sharp sense of humor and quick wit throughout his incredible career also led to the many lifelong friendships he made here."

Komissaroff is survived by his wife Rachael, who was his high school sweetheart, along with his children Ben, 17, and Olivia, 13.

"Our deepest condolences are with them and Alan’s entire extended family as we collectively mourn the loss of a wonderful man," Scott and Wallace wrote.
In 2020, Komissaroff spoke to Adweek about overseeing Election Night coverage.
"Election night is our Super Bowl, so we try to outdo ourselves every cycle," Komissaroff said.
A GoFundMe fundraising drive for Komissaroff’s family has been launched.

The government and the president in Gabon have confirmed that Foreign Minister Michael Moussa Adamo passed away from a heart attack during a cabinet meeting on Friday. He was 62.
“Our Minister of Foreign Affairs, Michael Moussa Adamo, left today,” said Ali Bongo Ondimba, President of Gabon.
“He was a very great diplomat, a true statesman. For me, he was first of all a friend, loyal and faithful, on whom I could always count. This is a huge loss for the Gabon. RIP,” he concluded.

According to reports, he had a heart attack during a cabinet meeting. The government released a statement saying that despite professional treatment, he was brought to the hospital and died around noon.
Moussa Adamo was the special advisor to Gabon’s president, Ali Bongo Ondimba, and the country’s ambassador to the United States for a decade.
Peninsula Qatar reported:
Moussa Adamo, 62, an ally of President Ali Bongo Ondimba, suffered a heart attack and died “despite efforts by specialists” to revive him, the government said in a brief statement.
He “had sat down at the start of the cabinet meeting and began to feel unwell”, a source close to the presidential palace told AFP.
Moussa Adamo was born in the northeastern town of Makokou in 1961 and started out as a presenter on national television.
In 2000, he was made chief of staff for the defence minister, who at the time was Bongo.
When Bongo was elected president on the death of his father Omar Bongo Ondimba in 2009, Moussa Adamo served as his special advisor.
After a decade as Gabon’s ambassador to the United States until 2020, he became, first, defence minister and then foreign minister in March last year.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s officials confirmed that a detective was killed in a car crash on his way home from work near Torrance late on Sunday, January 15, after suffering a medical emergency.
Steven J. Lim, a detective and 26-year veteran of the LASD who “handled the most severe child abuse cases,” was
identified as the victim of the single-car crash.

“It is with our most profound sorrow that we announce the sudden loss of a family member, Steven J. Lim, a Special Victim Bureau detective and 26-year veteran of LASD,” Los Angeles County Sheriff Robert Luna said in a statement.
“He was involved in a fatal traffic collision earlier today while driving home from his work assignment. He was an exemplary detective who handled the most severe child abuse cases,” he continued.

The cause of death was unclear but the Sheriff’s office said Lim had a medical emergency while driving home from work.

Officials said Lim was driving east on West Carson when he suffered an unknown medical emergency and crashed his car.
No other cars or people were involved, authorities added.
Lim was taken to a local hospital where he died from his injuries.
He leaves behind a wife and five children.
No other details were immediately available.

Robert Hamilton, the chief operating officer of Fredrikson & Byron, P.A., Minnesota’s twin cities’ largest law firm, died suddenly last week, the firm announced.
“Fredrikson is saddened to announce the unexpected death of Robert J. Hamilton, its chief operating officer, on January 15, 2023,” according to the firm’s news release.
According to his obituary, Robert Hamilton “passed away suddenly on Jan. 15, 2023, at age 65 from a ruptured aortic aneurysm.”

According to CDC, an aortic aneurysm is a balloon-like bulge in the aorta, the large artery that carries blood from the heart through the chest and torso. The aneurysm can burst completely, causing bleeding inside the body. This is called a rupture.

Hamilton’s colleagues paid tribute following the news of his sudden passing.
Kevin P. Goodno, chair of the firm’s board of directors, said in a statement, “it is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our friend and colleague, Bob Hamilton. Bob joined our firm in 1992 and served in several leadership roles, first as chief financial officer, and then as chief operating officer. He helped guide the firm through a period of unprecedented growth. Today, Fredrikson is the largest law firm in the Twin Cities and recognized as one of the strongest regional law firms in the country. We owe Bob a debt of gratitude for his exceptional leadership. On behalf of the entire firm, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Bob’s wife, family and friends.”

“A hallmark of Bob’s servant leadership was his commitment to building talented and diverse teams that work together to support the firm and to provide the best possible advice and advocacy to our clients,” stated John M. Koneck, president of Fredrikson. “Bob brought that passion and approach to his many years of service to the non-profit Global Rights for Women, an organization advocating for freedom from violence for women around the world. Recall, longtime American sports journalist Grant Wahl died suddenly due to an aneurysm while covering the soccer World Cup in Qatar. He was 49.
Wahl’s wife, Dr. Celine Gounder, said Wahl died from a “slowly growing, undetected ascending aortic aneurysm with hemopericardium.”
“He had an autopsy done here in New York by the New York City Medical Examiner’s Office, and it showed that he had an aortic aneurysm that ruptured,” Gounder told CBS News on Thursday.

I can't understand it, their souls and consciences seem to be dead.

It does alarm me, big-time, and I think that they are going for the jugular now, in their efforts. There will continue to be a lot of pushback because not everyone is sold on their propaganda and lies, in fact the public opinion will have to be turned up to a very loud volume, collective voices fighting for the greater good. It is a must.

They are in for a very, very bad hangover.

ONE of Wellington Squash and Racketball Club's best players has died suddenly at the age of only 25. Chris Shapland, who lived at Dyers Farm, near Milverton, was also a playing member of Wiveliscombe Rugby Club.
As a talented squash player, he would often play at No. One or Two in their Somerset League team.
What has emerged is that he was very popular member at both squash and rugby clubs and particularly enjoyed social events. Chris worked on the farm of his parents Roger and Jude and was in a relationship.

In a tribute to Chris this week, the squash club said: “He was one of the younger members of the Wellington Squash and Racketball Club. He was introduced to the game of squash by his father who was himself a previous player at the club.

A middle school coach and teacher at Devine Independent School District died suddenly of a heart attack after collapsing in front of his students early in January.

Jacob Sanchez, age 35, of Bigfoot, Texas died on Thursday, January 5, 2023.

According to reports, Sanchez suddenly collapsed at the start of class.

He was promptly given CPR by the staff members, but unfortunately, they were unable to save him.

“Parents we are in a medical hold at this time. All students are safe. All ms school games have been cancelled for today,” Devine ISD wrote on its social media.

According to the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office, Sanchez died of a heart attack.

School principal Kandi Darnell was with him minutes before he collapsed, as reported by KSAT.

“He seemed fine and everything seemed fine,” she said.

“We lost a friend, colleague, and just a good man today,” Darnell wrote.

“Jacob was the kind of person who would do anything to help out others. He was a kids’ teacher. He worked hard to connect with all of our kids not just our athletes. Our kids are going to have a tough time, but our DMS family will be there to help our kids as well as each other. On a personal level I feel as if I’ve lost a son. I’ve known Jacob since he was little. He and my son were in the same class. I taught Jacob. As a principal I counted on Jacob to help with some of our tougher customers. I would get him to talk to them. He was always willing to help. He was one of the first ones to volunteer to chaperone dances, field trips etc… He would do anything for the kids. There will be a big void in our hearts. Pray for his family, our kids, and our community. RIP Jacob,” she concluded.

Sanchez’s wife, Rebecca Powe, issued a statement following the passing of his husband.

“My honey was the light of our lives. He kept our family on our toes, constantly going, and always laughing. We shared a beautiful life together He loved us with his whole heart and loved his life. He was dedicated to the community of Devine and the kids were his motivation every day.”

Devine Intermediate School issued this statement, “Devine Intermediate School would like to extend our thoughts and prayers to the Sanchez family. Our hearts are with all of the Devine community.”

According to Sanchez’s obituary, he landed teaching and coaching at Devine ISD in 2016. He taught sixth and eighth-grade Science, and coached football, basketball and track, for the last seven years.

Vaccination Status: Fully Vaccinated

According to his social media account, Jacob Sanchez received his first dose of Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine on December 2020 and second dose on January 2021.

“We’ve done our part,” he wrote.

A young teacher who had a ‘loving heart’ died suddenly leaving her students heartbroken.
Tributes have been paid to Rachel Morgan who passed away unexpectedly at the age of just 26.
Rachel taught at Kells Infant School, Cumbria, and was described as being ‘passionate about children and enjoyed being with them’.
Her cause of death has not yet been revealed.

High School Football Star in Need of a New Heart After a Major Heart Attack

A local high school football player is fighting for his life after suffering a massive heart attack in November, and he is asking the general public for help.

Markus Martinez, a former Columbine High School football star and now senior at Bear Creek High School, suffered a major heart attack Thursday, November 17, 2022.

According to a fundraising campaign created for Markus, the doctors were successful in removing some of the blood clots, but not all of them.

Now, Markus’ left ventricular heart muscle has been permanently damaged. UCHealth cardiologists have recommended that he undergo a heart transplant because his heart is only functioning at 12–15% capacity. Although the family does not know what caused this, they remain hopeful and are providing Markus with the best care possible.

Markus has been in and out of the hospital since November.

“It’s been a little tough on him that he can’t get up, get out of bed and do his normal activities and stuff that he used to do, but he’s hanging in there,” Markus’ father, Steven Martinez, told FOX 31 Denver.

According to Steven, everyone in the family was shocked upon hearing the news of Markus’ sudden heart attack.

“I just couldn’t believe it was happening to someone so young and athletic,” Steven said.

Shelly Segura, Markus’ mother, said that her son needs a new heart as soon as possible.

“His heart is just unfortunately too sick right now,” Segura said. “We’ve all come together and have been praying for him. We’re really trying to stay positive for Markus.”

The pandemic has caused a surge of fatal cardiac arrests in Australia, as delayed care and COVID’s damaging effect on the heart drives a major uptick in serious heart issues.

More than 10,200 Australians died of ischemic heart disease in the first eight months of 2022 – that is about 17 per cent higher than would be expected in a normal year.

According to an analysis of mortality data by the Actuaries Institute, about 2300 deaths from ischemic heart disease over 2021 and 2022 are considered excess, which means they fall outside the expected natural range.

“Deaths with ischemic heart disease really involve blockages of the blood vessels. And when you have blockages in the blood vessels you then damage heart muscle, and your heart fails, and it can go into cardiac arrest, which means that it essentially stops,” said Professor Steve Nicholls, director of the Victorian Heart Hospital.

Officials in Australia have confirmed that the nation’s first openly gay Olympic bobsledder, Simon Dunn, died suddenly at age 35.
Dunn’s body was reportedly found at his home in Sydney on Saturday. Police do not feel the death is suspicious and are going on the assumption that there is a medical reason for the passing, according to Yahoo Sports.
Ruby Rose Management confirmed the news with a statement saying, “About 10 am on Saturday, January 21, 2023, police were called to a unit on Crown Street, Surry Hills, after reports the body of a man had been found inside. The body is believed to be that of the 35-year-old occupant. Officers from Surry Hills Police Area Command have commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding his death, which is not being treated as suspicious.”
Dunn rose to fame in 2014 when he became the first openly gay member of the country’s Olympic bobsledding team. After retiring from the team in 2016, Dunn played for an all-gay rugby team, engaged in media appearances, and explored acting.
In 2021, Dunn attempted to make a bobsledding comeback by working to join the Australian team for the 2022 Winter Olympics. But his dream was dashed when he ruptured a bicep muscle during training.
Dunn also engaged in LGBTQ activism and got in a public spat with rugby union star Israel Fola who publicly proclaimed that all gay people are going to hell during an appearance on Sky News.
Dunn blasted the homophobic culture of rugby, saying, “There is still homophobia in sport. It’s a culture that has been created and embedded over decades, and I think we’re still at the tail end of that with the work we need to do to put an end to it,” the Daily Mail reported.
Activists also praised him for publicly kissing his partner after his rugby team, the Sydney Convicts, won their final in 2018.

They've been dying slowly since their first jab so it isn't sudden, and it's certainly not "unknown" if they are vaxxed and boosted...

I stopped in our local Dollar General for a birthday card for my husband after work this evening. While perusing the card aisle, which was demolished like the rest of the store, (what is wrong with DG???) a woman entered the aisle, and mentioned that she was looking for sympathy cards. I started searching for sympathy cards with her, and then she found the spaces where they should be, but they were empty. So I walked to the endcap to see if they were any cards there.

As I was looking, I asked her if she was going to the funeral of a lady from my church, who just passed away. But no, she was going to another funeral elsewhere for the daughter of a coworker of hers, 30 years old, who died in her sleep. She left behind three young children.

I looked at the woman in the aisle with me in amazement. “Died in her sleep at 30?!?”

The woman looked back at me. It seems like we shared so much information in our gaze. I did not ask any further questions, and she did not offer any more information. But we both shared concern and I think a bit of fear.

To end my story, I was able to locate a package of blank cards for her that had a nice religious sort of saying on the front which she purchased. She was still sitting in the parking lot writing a card when I left.

This is the first time I’ve heard of a young person in my area, who died suddenly. I learned the name of the person who passed, but she was not someone that I know. I’ve only lived here for five years, so I do not know everyone yet. I live in Iowa, been here most of my life, and I know that things happen everywhere else before they happen here. Iowa is behind the times of everything and that is OK most of the time. I guess I get a false sense of security living in the bubble of rural Iowa. So now that I have become aware of this young lady who died and left behind young children in my area, these “died suddenly” deaths break my heart even more.
