Those are probably Class 5 poles, especially if they're dried out. Normally these should be around 9"-10" in diameter at the birthmark (about 5' off the ground) as they take a 12" bolt with two 1/2" spacers, a cable clamp and a couple of nuts for a single cable attachment if it's not a corner at attachment height.
A Class 3 pole, at the birthmark, should be between 13" - 14" in diameter and are the standard ELCO pole in use. If it's a hard corner or one with a lot of equipment on it, it could be anything from an Class 1 all the way up to a Class 00, but those are MASSIVE beasts that are closer to 30" in diameter at the birthmark and usually only seen in the 75' and above rating.
Just for reference, most drop poles to a customer's home/business/whatever are Class 7 poles, are usually only around 6" at the birthmark, and are light enough that a single man can carry, set, and frame it by himself if he's of average build.
