EXCERPT..................................................EXCERPT..................................
"...The people who dislike George W. Bush have convinced themselves that opposition to his presidency is the most compelling moral issue of the day. Well, it's not. The most compelling moral issue of the day is exactly what he says it is, when he's not saying it's gay marriage. The reason he will be difficult to unseat in November—no matter what his approval ratings are in the summer—is that his opponents operate out of the moral certainty that he is the bad guy and needs to be replaced, while he operates out of the moral certainty that terrorists are the bad guys and need to be defeated. The first will always sound merely convenient when compared with the second. Worse, the gulf between the two kinds of certainty lends credence to the conservative notion that liberals have settled for the conviction that Bush is distasteful as a substitute for conviction—because it's easier than conviction. ..."

The whole point of this essay written by a Bush hater is; "What if George Bush is right?" I think the author is beginning to fear that the Demos have no program other than to defeat Bush. And philosophically that ain't good enough in times this perilous. They got to have convictions about something, and they don't.

Saved, to glorify God.
Well, nobody is questioning the threat that "terrorism" poses. What some are beginning to question is Mr. Bush's methods and assertion that terrorists are mindless, amoral killers who kill for the pleasure of killing and who have no basis upon which negotiations can be based, that diplomacy and negotiated agreements are futile, that peace with such people is impossible.

He has attempted to SEVER any reference to the POLITICAL aspects of terrorism. He has made the problem into a PERPETUAL one, which he proposes to solve by killing those he SUSPECTS may be terrorists. Which harms a sufficient number of innocent families that it will GUARANTEE a PERPETUAL source of new terrorist recruits to strike back at him for the injustice he committed.

Mr. Bush claims the right and rule that he can and will strike and kill those HE SUSPECTS who aid or help terrorists, and then has the nerve to be outraged when the terrorist start playing by the same rule, killing those who help him.

Mr. Bush does not want the same rules applied to him that he applies to others. He does not want to be held legally responsible for any war crimes WHATSOEVER, or crimes against humanity that he or his agents commit, REGARDLESS of any evidence that may be available. But he reserves the right, duty, power and authority to himself alone to decide who else in the world is to be called to face Mr. Bush's personal idea of "justice." Mr. Bush alone decides who in the world has human and civil rights and who does not. He asserts the right to kidnap anyone he pleases from any nation, without regard to its laws and treaties.

PARDON ME, BUT MR. BUSH SCARES ME MORE THAN THE TERRORISTS.

ainitfunny, Can you or any liberal could prove any of your charges? Do you have any proof other than what some other faceless liberal dreamed up?
