Speaking during remarks to a J.P. Morgan healthcare conference this week, Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla openly stated current vaccines the company developed for Wuhan coronavirus offer "limited, if any" protection against contracting current variants of the disease. He then encouraged booster shots.

Get your booster anyways to keep boosting Pfizer profit.

The statement from Bourla comes as the Biden administration continues to justify vaccine mandates for federal workers, contractors and private businesses. The Supreme Court heard arguments about President Biden's mandates for private companies and medical workers last week. A ruling is expected soon on the constitutionality of the mandates.

A number of people who have pointed out the waning efficacy of Pfizer's vaccines, which Bourla touted last year as being "100 percent" effective against contracting or transmitting the virus, have been banned by social media companies.

Meanwhile, Bourla also announced this week the company is developing a vaccine specific to Omicron. It is expected to be ready in March when health officials predict the latest wave of the mild variant will already be over.

A fine example of "selective editing" in the title.
Both sides are more than capable/guilty of convenient word manipulation.

I don't see the selective editing, the current variants are what are hitting people very hard, the CEO admits the vaccines they offer provide limited, if any protection against what is going around. Then recommends a booster of the same non-effective "vaccine".

Where was this statement back in October of 2020 when they started doling out the jabs?
Run-up to the election. Still at the point where the outcome still retained the element of doubt (Oh NOs - another 2016?) and Trump MIGHT make it. Keeping this quiet retains the element of uncertainty in case he does win - in which case the vaccine inefficacy would be all HIS fault. Not Fauci's. Not Pfizer.

As it is, only now is everyone realizing that the vaccines do EXACTLY what they're designed to do: reduce symptoms to alleviate Hospital "loading" with a side benefit of "flattening the curve" - or as it turned out "shifting the curve right on the time-line."

And notice - unlike Trump - vaccine inefficacy is now "luck of the draw" - and not Biden's fault.

Maybe Fauci will be hung for it - eventually? Just before the mid-term elections. Sort of a "hail Mary" pass for the Democrats.

Sigh, I didn't watch any corporate news this evening. I saw a portion of Biden doing his "Devil Went Down To Georgia" tour, blew my stack and the beautiful Mrs. G. said no more TV until Tucker.

It's a "pulled quote". Hollywood has done this for years. By stopping the sound-byte / quote BEFORE the comma you selectively edit his words to make him say what YOU believe to be true, not what HE was saying.

It's an OLD trick.

What? No one here to explain to us our obvious misunderstanding and lack of comprehension concerning the Pfizer execs words….. :kaid:

ND is quite correct. Most knowledgeable sources say the vaccine will quite well protect folks from the hospital or death - not that the vaccine will necessarily prevent contracting Covid-19. There are some early reports that one vaxxed person is 10 times less likely to be hospitalized and 20 times less likely to die than any given unvaxxed person.

Well older data also says 80+% little to no symptoms and 97+% survivability, yet that is ignored wholesale.

Older data applies quite well to older variants. Newer data applies quite well to newer variants. It seems reasonable to me.

Unless said older data has applied this whole time but is ignored to push a narrative.
Older data applies until it no longer does. Just like today with the Omicron and even the Delta variants.

The performance of the vaccine has changed with each new variant - small changes at first, but, as the number of mutations accelerated, so has the vaccine performance degraded. So far, not too bad. Nothing new here.

Look, no one disagrees that eventaully we will need a new vaccine. Right now, we have what we have and for the most part, with a booster, chances of survival are much improved. That is what the CEO said when the complete quote is considered. The OP is busted.

So how do life threatening side effects caused by these Vax's fit into your beliefs?
