Her spokesman made the announcement Thursday just as Pelosi, 82, was scheduled to hold her weekly news conference at the Capitol.

"After testing negative this week, Speaker Pelosi received a positive test result for COVID-19 and is currently asymptomatic," Drew Hammill tweeted. "The Speaker is fully vaccinated and boosted, and is thankful for the robust protection the vaccine has provided."

CONNECTICUT — Gov. Ned Lamont announced Thursday that he tested positive for COVID-19.

"I wanted you to hear straight from me that I tested positive for COVID-19 today," he tweeted. "I feel good and I'm not experiencing any symptoms. We've done contact tracing to let people know. Lamont took a regularly scheduled rapid COVID-19 test Thursday morning that was positive, his spokesman Max Reiss said in a statement. He confirmed it with a second positive rapid test and is awaiting the results of a PCR test.

Lamont will quarantine at home for the next five days. He said he plans to work from home in the meantime.

I've been reading that Pelosi had a trip scheduled to Japan and Taiwan this weekend, China stated there would be consequences if Pelosi goes to Taiwan.

Covid is just the excuse she's using because the higher ups told her to keep her ass home and don't leave the country.

Jen Psaki got her second case of Covid and couldn’t go to Poland With Biden. The first time she got Covid she couldn’t go on another trip but I don’t remember where. Kind of convenient if you don’t want to go somewhere you just “come down with Covid.”

About ten years ago, I had a military doctor whose attitude was shock that i was STILL alive, every time i came in. He never did much to help me, so i only went to see him when required to do so.

I stayed FAR from the "tests" they liked to do, which invariably led to more medications and tests. The cancer tests were most fishy. Breast cancer, colon cancer, cancer this and cancer that. Heart tests of every kind. I just quit and enjoyed 10+ years of happy, ready to die, and till then, not going to the doctor till it was ER worthy.

Am still slowly getting old but not down for the count at 77 and dont yet have a doctor I can trust. For the last 2 years it has been COVID VACCINATION!! I'd like to get the newest round of Omicron but haven't yet.
Missed all the other Covid, Delta, and other variants, but think I SHOULD get (catch) this last varient of Omicron.
