FOOD Peanut Butter Bacon Burger and Shake

Well it's something different, I don't like Sonics food over all, but might try this only to say I did. :D

Snip from above link....

The new, limited-edition menu item is the latest of Sonic's burgers meant for bacon lovers, including the garlic butter bacon burger, the Sonic BBLT with a whopping six strips of bacon, and the Bacon on Bacon Quarter Pound Double Cheeseburger, which had two strips of bacon for each beef patty.

This burger consists of smooth peanut butter, bacon, grilled onions, and American cheese layered on top of two 100% beef burgers, enclosed by a toasted bun. It will be released nationwide for $6.39 on January 8, 2024, and customers have four weeks to get their fill of the salty and sticky sweet burger. You can also order the peanut butter bacon shake for those wishing for a dessert or drink to amp up the peanut butter and bacon flavor.

And people wonder why they are broke.

These places fill the hole in your gut if you are out of town, or are stuck in town for the day and you are getting hungry, but I usually wait until I get home, bring food on a planned trip, or at worst, order off the "dollar" menu. It just isn't worth it.

There used to be a restaurant in downtown Indianapolis, IN (Scotty's brew pub) that had a peanut butter burger - it had jalapen~os on it as well. I initially scoffed at it. But it was/is really good. I went there for the annual GENCON (gaming) convention and we went back every year for that burger until the restaurant closed. I occasionally will make one at home. So don't knock it, 'til you've tried it.

Neither here nor there.

Raw or pickled jalapeños?

Peanuts give me migraines.

I miss peanut butter.

Don't think I would put it on a hamburger though. Then again I don't eat traditional hamburgers....

Wow guess I'm out of this experiment.

:D

My son would love this, considering his motto:
