Yes, you and the other losers can have your petty comforts, including the "unbiased" media.

LOL, yeah. I like how they had Ohio as a "Green" state. They just couldn't admit to themselves that GW won. How pathetic can you get?

Just like they called Nevada for Bush right after the loser Kerry conceded the election, even though 100% of precincts reported for hours before then.

To the sore losers: Sorry to bust your bubble, but yes - Bush won. Big. Deal with it. If not, I suggest PROZAC.

This kind of stuff is all uncalled for. And we wonder why our children have no respect anymore?
As for the Bush bashers on this forum...GET OVER IT! You are in the minority and might as well get used to it. Grow up! I can see you all now stomping your feet and yelling, "It's not fair". Yes, Bush won fair and square and there is nothing you can do about it.
Gripe! Gripe! Gripe! Do you ever come out of your pessimistic attitudes?

The USA today map is now my screen wallpaper, just to tick off my co-worker, she hasn't said but 2 sentences since she got on duty today.. I've got little sticky peel off nuke mushroom clouds that stick-n-peel to my PC screen. Their covering LA/SF, CA., So TX, Seattle, WA area, and most of the northeastern coastal areas.

She's feeling a little depressed and sick today so maybe I should play nice???

George Bush's America

Reading the various commentary and chatting with a few people I've come to a couple of realizations which I think we all need to come to terms with. First, as Eric Alterman puts it, there are more of "them" than "us" right now. The people who voted George Bush and the Republicans into office this year didn't do so because they were conned by a right wing asshole posing as a compassionate centrist. They did so precisely because he is a right wing asshole. Yes, the modern Republican party consists of nasty bigots and liars and the media rarely bothers to point out just how nasty they are (all the talking heads talking about the role of "moral values" in the election know that what that really means is "fag hating," but they won't say it). But, don't be fooled - people know what they voted for.

And, secondly, as the Bullmoose says (though I disagree with other aspects of his commentary):

Organization is fine - ideas and message are far superior.

This is exactly right. Democrats and liberals have spent too many years running away from the Right's caricature of what it means to be a liberal that they've managed to obliterate from the public consciousness any coherent concrete narrative. It isn't as many seem to think about precisely where on the Left/Right spectrum a candidate or the Party chooses to position itself. I'm not arguing that Democrats need to be "more liberal" or "less liberal" or anything like that it all. But, they have to be something other than "not Republicans."

There's a lot of money sloshing around on our side these days, and that's good. I hope, Josh Marshall discusses discusses, that neither the generosity of wealthy benefactors nor the flood of small money donations from the less-than-rich crowd stops flowing to the new infrastructure we're creating. But, I'm increasingly getting the sense that part of the problem is that at the moment it isn't clear just what this infrastructure is supposed to be supporting. We need to figure out just what our ideas and message are, and then the infrastructure will help us project them into the public mind.

I can't believe the liberals are still crying that they haven't been able to get their message out. That if they just try harder and louder that maybe we'll hear it?

Haven't they figured out yet that we've heard their message and we disagree with it?

OBTW: They've updated the name of the picture...

You need to go get some tissue and wipe the idiotic tears. It's typical of all the liberal losers to get their info from other typical left wing losers. Now comes the "bigot" card. What next -"homophobe"? So retarded. Try collecting you're brain-dead opinions from someone other than Al Franken and the rest of the Hollywood crowd
I know you're too stupid to form an opinion on your own (with actual facts, that is)    :bwl: :bwl: :bwl: :bwl: :bwl:

George Bush's America
blah blah blah

And, secondly, as the
blah blah blah

Organization is fine - ideas and message are far superior.

-Atrios 3:11 PM

Let the libbies keep thinking that "their organization is fine and their ideas are superior" and they will keep on losing support and losing seats around the political spectrum. THEY GOT THOROUGHLY TROUNCED on Tuesday....everything from losing seats in the Senate and the House...Tennessee now has a Republican house for the first time in 140 years !!! I could go on, but hopefully you see my point.

The democrats are losing because somewhere along the way they got Railroaded and led by super left wing nutjob liberals like Michael Moron and Al Franken. Most Americans, whether you want to believe it or not, are conservative by nature and have at least some belief in a God/Higher Power. All it would take for the Dems to start regaining seats/winning elections again would be for some southern Conservative Democrat (I say southern, because that's where the conservative democrats all seem to be) to emerge and not be surrounded by liberals and he would sweep the country's popular and electoral vote. But sadly that will not happen....

Because as you can see above, all of the libbies think that their message is fine, they just need to scream it louder -- when in all actuality it turns off most people. FWIW from a purely independent voter.

I informed CNN of the image. Here is their response to me:

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We have given it our immediate attention and want to make you aware that the jpeg image was not CNN property and was not created, disseminated or posted by CNN at any time as is alleged. It originated at another company, and first appeared on Netscape.com. CNN personnel did not circulate or label the image, and CNN had no knowledge of it until it surfaced on other Web sites.

Again, thank you for taking time to bring this to our attention and allowing us the opportunity to address it.
Sincerely,
CNN Public Information

The Dem's money comes not from some "flood of small money donations" but increasingly ONLY from the extremely wealthy. They've become the country-club, socialite, cocktaily party party. They get the fringe vote at both ends - minorities, the very poor, and non-working, and then the wealthy and ultra-wealthy. Those two extremes make up the core of the Dem party and where they pull in their 80-90% voting rates.

When Kerry screeches on about the wealthy getting tax breaks, and then it's shown that he pays less taxes than the average Joe (and would continue to do so after he raises taxes), the Dems amazingly wonder why people just don't buy into their "message."
