Local family. Son is one of the new "test" subjects on children. Kid had moderna vaccine 3 months after having Covid. Very very sick, passed out, hit head, concussion. Doc says 2nd shot should be given anyway.

"Little Johnny" is scheduled for his second shot in 2 weeks.

This woman actually went to one of those chicken pox party's with this son. But now is subjecting her son to this awful vaccine? I just don't understand what has happened to basic common sense?? How can any parent not spend time learning more about this stuff before possibly killing their own child?

WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE???

They can even tell you how long the 'shot' is good for ....... you will have to take another in 6 months and guess what....another six months after that.........never ends.....

Sure it will end. This fauxine nonsense will end even before the U.S. Gov't falls apart once and for all. No government is forever, and only a moron could deny in his mind that the USG is through the vast, vast majority of its lifespan.

Maybe, but not all. There is such a swirl of disinformation and mixed signals that the average person doesn't know what to believe or what the right thing to do is.

A couple of months ago, my friend had a wicked case - felt crappy, tested positive, quarantined, ended up on steroids with B/L pneumonia. He said he thought he would cough up a lung. He recovered finally...then he took the jab.

He was just so F-ed up not knowing what to do, thought he was doing the right thing, never even thought about antibodies.

He's no virtue signaling lib, just a regular guy; (btw, his wife, who didn't get sick, won't take the shot).

The problem is many people still blindly trust doctors and are influenced greatly by the media. No! Be informed, not just blindly follow those in front of you off a cliff.

I won't say I will never get the vaccine but at this point in time I will need to wait and see much more data over the next few years. Sorry but I no longer trust any of the media or those in the .gov none of them.

Why would anyone take that shit shot for an attack virus that only kills 1%, and 78% of those were obese, out of shape, sickly folks. In other words stop eating like a American slob and get your ass busy!

Neither do I understand what has happened to common sense. My daughter got her DPT when she was six months old. She ran a fever, the injection site was hot and it swelled into goose egg territory. I refused her next shot telling them that when that leg is back to normal, we'll consider another shot. She never got another one because it took six years for that lump to diminish, and then it became a depression in the muscle which she has to this day. How did I get her past the school requirements? I lied. I trust my judgment over a "protocol" any day of the week. She can get the DT shots, but the pertussis component is a no-no. It also turns out that when they tried to mau-mau me into getting the second dose, that was absolutely not okay. Their pamplet said essentially, "bad reaction to first shot, don't get another."

Good for you. People need to stand. My neighbor was not as lucky. Her daughter got the DPT and died the same day. Guess the world feels safer one more vaccinated, even though she left the earth, at least she did not spread some disease she did not even have. Whole vaccine thing is stupid.

Not to derail---but there was a whole book written specifically about pertussis vaccine reactions and what they do to the nervous system. Some kids' immune systems CAN take the hit; other kids' immune systems can NOT handle it--thus the title of the book---the vaccine is A Shot In The Dark.

On our local "Nextdoor" site, one of the neighbors yesterday started the question "Am I the only one considering NOT taking the shot?"

That was it--she didn't want back-and-forth arguing over the merits of the Covid vaccine, just wanted to know if others out there were also considering NOT taking it.

MANY responded that they were NOT---then the woke crowd on the site came in and began mocking and ridiculing and shaming and trying to shout down those who were explaining why they weren't getting it.

The posters told them how the vaccine is experimental---

they DENIED that it is experimental. Some even claimed scientists had been working on a "coronavirus" vaccine for 60 years. (attempts to explain that THAT was for the common COLD, not Covid-19, proved futile).

When some said they'd had past reactions and it was contraindicated, these STILL wanted them to get it, assuring them it was "safe".

When some related how their DOCTORS had reservations about them getting it--these people began attacking their DOCTORS.


There is NO REASONING with these people.

REading the posts on this thread, it seems that the emoting is being done by the antivaxers.

To clear up something: From the University of Nebraska, the natural immunity that people who have had covid seems to last only about 3 months. So far the immunity received by those receiving the Pfizer vaccine series lasts at least 6 months. And the reason they can only say 6 months is because that is how long groups of people have been vaccinated. At the 6 month mark vaccine recipients still had high levels of antibodies. As time goes on we will find out exactly how long immunity persists.

Also people who know little about vaccines think immunity means absolute immunity. It does not. Immunity in never 100% in most vaccines...

FYI Trump and his family must be pretty dumb because after President Trump, his wife and his son all had covid, they also received the Pfizer vaccine before they left for Florida. Why? you may ask. Because the level of anitbodies and the persistence of antibodies is much better for those who receive the vaccine than those who are recovering from covid;

How do you explain the very low common cold and flu numbers as a cause of death for 2020, as compared to the previous 10 years of such stats?

Masks, and distancing in public and social isolation kept many from catching the flu. Nursing home covid deaths dropped 95% once the nursing home people got vaccinated. The vaccines work.

You say the cold and flu cases dropped, but don't you attribute that to folks wearing masks when they go into stores or other places of business or kids doing remote schooling. Hell, kids are one of the major spreaders of colds and flu.
We had spring break here in Florida a few weeks ago and now the Brazilian and South African variants are increasing in Florida.

Finally, the number of deaths in the last year increased so much that the life expectancy in the US and most of the countries in the EU actually decreased by over 1 year. However you slice that, it means far more people died over the last year that in recent previous years. That hasn't happened before. Oh wait, yes it has, during the 1918 Spanish Flu.
Bottom line. The absolute number of deaths has to increase quite a bit for life expectancy to decrease by a year in less than a year.

I’ll re-evaluate getting a “vaccine” when I get closer to 7-9 months out from having had Covid. Right now, I’m at about 4 months.

Yes how do you explain that!! Told my dr.at the VA that about the lack of flu ,she said it was because of masks and distancing I then asked how do you explain the continued spread of the Rona ......crickets

How do you explain the increase in deaths in the US and Europe being so great that it would cause a decrease in life expectancy of over 1 year in both the US and most countries in the EU?

Most flu and colds are first spread by those walking petri dishes called children. They bring it home to their families who then bring it to work or out to bars and restaurants.
Once of the things that were don't in fear for kids safety was for school to be conducted remotely.
As far as masks, all you need to do is take a look at the number of super spreader events and idiots refusing to wear a mask in stores etc.

Easy. At least the vast majority of supposed China virus cases are just ordinary flu and severe colds. Anyone not blue pilled about the scamdemic understands this by now.

Last year a record number of people got the flu vaccine. 192 million people.
I however did come down with the flu when I was in the hospital for 2 and a half months in the middle of the Covid panic.
Covid scared people and since there was no Covid shot available then they got the flu shot in record numbers. 192 million.

Add the record number of flu shots to the fact that the flue, unlike covid is usually only transmissible for 1 day before symptoms, so there was less spreading compared to covid which is very transmissible for days before symptoms. Hell people can spread covid for weeks without even being aware they have it if they are asymptomatic. Unfortunately many of the people they spread it to are NOT asymptomatic and get sick and or die.
Also covid is much much more contagious/ transmissible than the flu.

The trouble with many people here is that think in binary terms. Either yes or no, true or false. That works for some things but not fore epidemiology and cellular biology.
People think that masks either work or they don't work. They work to varying degrees.
People think that you either have the disease and are very contagious or not. It doesn't work that way. It depends on the viral load and how it sets up home in your nasal pharynx.
They don't under stand that it will affect different people in different ways. Hell it's mainly a cardiovascular disease instead of respiratory. One thing it definitely is however is real.
